Mazzy’s Sports Bar & Grill

Mmmm… Mazzy’s. In a world of half star increments Mazzy’s would be sitting firmly at 3.5 stars. So I had to make a decision. The stellar prices at Mazzy’s pushed it up rather than down however. There are many locations across metro atl but this location is the closest to me after moving last year.
This location is much less lively than the other locations I’ve been too but that’s OK considering that I go for the cheap eats not the entertainment. There is a full bar, darts, tons of tvs and pool available inside the restaurant. This location does not have outdoor seating.
The food here isn’t amazing but it’s tasty enough. I usually stick to a grilled chicken breast sandwich which has always been prepared well in my opinion. Nice and seasoned with fries for around $ 7. I’m always impressed that you can get a NY strip 10 Oz with loaded mashed potatoes for about $ 10-​$ 11. It’s no longhorn but hey… it’s $ 10!
Service is always good and speedy. This place (when I’ve been) isn’t typically busy. Good for me, bad if you’re looking for action.

Never had chance to try food. Service was so bad we left before even getting a menu. Note to management — pay for hostess and don’t allow staff to yell at customers.

Wasn’t sure if it’s worth reviewing or not, but for 3 stars I ordered an order of fries and tenders to go, with 2 sodas and when I got home to eat I was slightly still hungry because the quantity wasn’t great. For the price, figuring I was just ordering something basic, I expected more food.
I know it’s bar food, but if I was drinking their and got the quantity I got, I probably would find a different place.

I have been to the Mazzy’s in Marietta and always liked it as a good place to watch games while eating decent pub fare at reasonable prices. I decided to try out the location in Kennesaw to see how it might be different from the Marietta location.
First of all, the space is probably better in Kennesaw. The restaurant is in one huge room with a high ceiling and exposed duct work. The bar is bigger than in the Marietta location with better sight lines to the many screens. The area with pool tables is separated off in a corner with partitions. There was not a problem finding seats on Sunday afternoon, though after the games started at 1:00 it got fairly busy.
The menu is exactly the same. I had the chicken breast club, one of my favorite items, and it was prepared just fine. I was surprised they didn’t have Hopsecutioner – the Marietta location always had that. I would have liked if they had a beer list available. There’s no list of their draft and bottled beers anywhere I could see. I got a Sweetwater IPA.
The problem I had here was with. The service. I placed my order and waited a long time without it arriving. When I saw customers seated next to me who got their meals that they placed long after I place mine, I asked where my sandwich was. It turned out the bartender never turned in my order. They were nice about it and the manager came around to apologize, and then they comped me one of my beers, but something like that really shouldn’t happen. I note in the other reviews there are frequent comments on lack of service.

Nice place to watch the game. Very spread out and plenty of room to move around. Pool tables, dart boards and lots of TV’s. I had the shrimp pasta and I would rate it average but considering this is a sports bar and not an Italian restaurant then that’s pretty good. Atmosphere today is much tamer than other sports bar I have been to, especially when the home team is playing. The staff are awesome and everyone seems to be very customer friendly. Warm smiles and cheerful personalities will make any place a «be sure to return» establishment. Thumbs up! So if you catch yourself over by Kennesaw state and want to catch the game, I would suggest stopping in.

Manager who touched me and my wife. Please don’t touch us ever again. It’s unwanted and uncomfortable. Food was ok.

Good food, fun atmosphere, best bartenders in Kennesaw.
If you’re looking for a good place to watch a game, a quick bite to eat, or go out with some friends on the weekend this is the best place in Kennesaw.

Service is terrible and slow. Bartenders hang out at one end of the bar eating, or go out to smoke while you’re just trying to get them to notice you.
Extra star because they make a decent white Russian.

Ate here Sunday night and was totally disappointed. Ordered a marguerita — bitter.
Appetizer was Jalapeño halfs stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. If the peppers had actually been cooked they would have been super delicious, but I didn’t like the crunchy, raw peppers.
Ordered the WOAB (?) Whopper of all Burgers? — NOT in my opinion. «Marinated in worchestershire and garlic» but all I tasted was garlic. Fries delivered luke warm.
Doubtful I’ll ever be back.

Cool sports bar. Screens throughout so there really isn’t a bad seat in the place. No smoking indoors so that was definitely a plus in my book. Hard to find sports bars that prohibit indoor smoking. I had to take 2 stars off because the chairs aren’t exactly the most comfortable after sitting in for the duration of a game. Also, although our server was nice she was stretched kind of thin so we didn’t exactly receive the most attentive service. Plus, when it’s a big game due to the acoustics in the building you can’t clearly hear the sound. I can’t speak on the drinks as I didn’t orde any there. The food is typical bar food. Nothing special in my opinion. The parking can be somewhat challenging finding a free space because there are other businesses in the same lot. Overall, I would probably go back. It’s a decent sports bar for the area.

Had the pot roast. It was ok. Nothing to rave about. Waitress was smoking hot. Others had shrimp and grit.

Atmosphere is off for me. Not a classy place, I’ll just say that. But right now they are one of the only bars in the area, so people end up there. Suggestions: get better lighting that isn’t as harsh, get all high top tables (the combo of high and low just makes things weird).

The best Honey Mustard ever! Period. and with new grease … Chicken fingers Awesome. Great staff and girls goes without saying. But I did!

I have been here several times. The food service is slow. The coffee is horrible.
Don’t order coffee. On the last two games the coffee arrived cold. i sent it back it returned with a warm cup but the coffee was still cold. although .my friends also rejected theircold coffees. our server held my cup, said it was hot, I stuck my finger in the coffee to show her it was cold.
MAZZY’S need a new coffee pot!

The food was great loaded fries were my favorite, also tried a cheese burger as well as the wings which were also great. Hannah was outstanding. Amazing service. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a pretty great college bar. It’s very expansive and the food is good and the prices are fair.
Just be careful if some of the clientele. You get some of the. questionable college kids and, what seem to be older regulars, can be obtrusive; to the point of stealing my beer which he denied until I confronted him. In other words, just keep your eyes on your belongings.
Other than that, good sports/​college bar with pool and darts, especially.

Plenty of beer choices, great HH and awesome ambience and 10 minutes away from the house? Sure, sign me up!
Pool, darts and numerous tv’s to keep you entertained while sipping on your beer. Great place for large groups, specially when there is a game on.
Go on, give it a try and i am sure you will like it as much as i do.

Been here for lunch as well as for late night drinks. Pretty nice place and used to go to the one on Roswell as well. Food is actually pretty good, service is usually decent and the beer selection and # of tvs makes for a good place to catch a game. Pool tables, a couple arcade games (Golden Tee & something else) also provide for some entertainment. The no smoking is definitely a plus as well, even at night when it turns into a full fledged bar.

Great wings! Great beef selection! Wings and beers make me happy and this place knows what they are doing in the kitchen. The bartender was very friendly and made my gf a great mixed drink that she loved.
Mazzy’s is a short walk from the office so there will be lots of visits in the future.
