Be prepared to wait. It may take 20 minutes to get through the drive thru on a weekend, but it’s the best biscuits in town. If you have the patience you’ll be rewarded w/a superior biscuit.

Whole in the wall restaurant that is well known in the area(in my opinion). Fantastic biscuits and other breakfast items for a VERY reasonable price. They offer a variety of biscuits from your standard chicken and egg and sausage egg to steal and egg. They also have hash browns and grits. Our usual order is a large sausage egg, small chicken egg, small cheese grit, and a large fountain drink and our total is $ 8. Don’t be discourage about eating here by the looks of the places. They’re a bit old and run down. I will admit sometimes the establishment could use some cleaning as guest enter and leave. It can get a bit on the messy side. Great place to grab a bite for breakfast. They’re only open until 3PM and they serve breakfast all day. Great Mom and Pop style restaurant.

I give it a 2. The food is good but the dinning experience is awful. It’s a dirty environment and the people that work their are sometimes rude. If you go please go threw the drive thru and eat it in your car. I’m sure your car is cleaner then this place.

I used to frequent the location on Powder Springs Road. I went to this location for lunch today since I live closer to this location now. They have changed something about their biscuits; I think they are still handmade but the have a frozen biscuit look and taste to them now. Not a good choice for biscuits now. Their burgers and fries are still okay but not worth a special trip.

So I gave Martin’s a super generous 3⁄5 b/c I breakfast & this is one of the only place w/decent breakfast I gave them another star b/c I appreciate making things from scratch&their biscuits definitely taste like they r(however they could put some more butter on them while they bake) I go here about twice a month give or take a time or 2 only b/c it’s on my way to the hwy. If it wasn’t convenient I probably wouldn’t eat there as much Mainly b/c their gravy is horrible, hash browns r Undercooked everytime(not to mention sticks to the wrapper)& I don’t feel like their prices match their quality &/or quantity. I hate to use WaHo as a role model, but WaHo should teach Martin’s how to make some gravy. OH& their«steak» biscuit taste like a piece of meat Inmates might be served in jail.

Breakfast is amazingly good, everything I tried there taste good! But they need to renovate the store! I close my eyes when I’m eating inside, the environment feels dirty

Very good biscuits here and friendly staff. The chicken biscuit can be grilled or fried which is great. The biscuits are very tasty and homemade. They also have pork, steak, or sausage gravy. The drive thru was backed out into the main road, but once we got into the parking lot we parked and went right in to place our order and food was out quickly.

Consistently one of the better Martin’s in the system. Always a good line at the drive thru, so like Joe Pesci, I opt for the counter inside where you always get a friendly smile. It is clearly a favorite meeting spot for the old men’s breakfast club and they have good reason. Biscuits are always fresh and a fine assortment things to enjoy on them. I usually opt for the Pork Tenderloin Biscuit that rarely disappoints. Today was no exception. A steaming hot biscuit filled with delicately crusted slightly salted porcine goodness. Pretty good breakfast value for $ 1.80. Definitely makes my list for best biscuits.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures, just wish was closer to home. The egg biscuits, bacon are what I go 20 min early out of the way for everytime. Always great and never a problem in 14 yrs!

This is one of the best biscuit joints around hands down. You cant beat them. Very consistant on food quality. If you havent tried the gravy biscuits get it with sausage gravy and add the steak. Its a big meal.

I hate giving a one star review to any restaurant. But I don’t know what to say. Greasy. Slow service. Dirty seats.

Giving it a 1 star because I can’t give it zero stars! 34 minutes to get our food in the drive-thru, order missing food had to go back, hash-browns and steak with eggs biscuit had no flavor at all, and the extremely greasy onion rings were very salty! Not worth the money or time!

I can’t believe people say this food is good! This was our first time trying it out! A HUGEYUCKKKKKKKK! The bag was see through since the grease was seeping thru the bag. This place has no true flavor at all. The onion rings were drenched in salt and were super disgusting! The only thing that had flavor was the ketchup packages. This place would have got a negative 5 stars if that was possible! I now know you can not trust everything you read on Unilocal or when a line is wrapped around the building. If you enjoy this place that means your tongues taste buds have been shot out! Death of breakfasts and the hashbrown was a grease-brown and they forgot it where we had to walk in after a drive thru order, WTF! This place was a huge disappointment! Digesting times infinity!

For a quick serve restaurant, Martin’s failed. Got there at 11:45 ordered at the counter and finally got our food at 12:05. Staff is very confused. I got the pork tenderloin sandwich and a friend ordered the chicken club. Both had small dry pieces of meat. I watch them prepare a burger. Their sign said fresh food is good food. They used a precooked burger patty and dropped it into a deep fat fryer. Fresh is obviously relative to not being frozen. Never stopping again.

Let’s start with the off part… The onion rings were dropping with oil. So much so they are sticky. they taste great but will make u I’ll if you do not stop eating them. Now the rest… biscuits are amazing. Fluffy and large and best in town. Gravy is silky and tasty. Great food

I can’t believe I’m still eating sausage. I just got back from a week-long trip to London — I am not trying to brag, but to illustrate why I justified and had to have a sausage roll for six out of the last 10 days or so(it is an amazing thing over there. a real treat. so naturally I had to try one from every menu.) I definitely thought i was sausaged-out. And now I am home and I order a sausage and egg biscuit from Martin’s. And I eat the sh! t out of that thing! I barely take breaths between bites because it is pretty damn delicious. The biscuit is semi moist(good thing) so you’re not choking on dry carbs as if you were trying to whistle with chewed-up, dry saltines in your mouth. The sausage is just delightful and savory. And the egg is not gross or overpowering to the sausage patty. This us a win-win-win. A triple-win-wang-zing-zang.(Still jetlagged.) The missing star is for a crappy small parking lot that forces drive-thru-ers to be lined up on 41 — six deep before you even get into the lot. Good for them for being so popular and busy. Seriously. It’s why I took the chance of sitting in line for 30 min. Okay maybe it was about 20 – 25 min.(on a Sat at 10am, so hopefully this is the worst it gets.) But Martin’s delivered on reputation. Two sausage and egg, two bacon and egg and two egg only = $ 14. Enjoy!

I can’t stay away from this greasy joint. It offers the perfect blend of comfort food and it’s all $ 3-$ 6. I come here to cure hangovers and carry it to-go, or when I just want a quick breakfast. The inside décor is reminiscent of an all blue and white waffle house made for you to be in and out quickly. The open faced biscuit with sausage gravy is awesome. Lots of thick gravy, a biscuit swimming in it and large chunks of sausage. The pork tenderloin biscuit is good too. There is also the chicken biscuit(grilled or fried) which is many times my go-to meal. Add cheese to the biscuit for an extra yummy taste. There is also the grits-cheese-egg bowl. The perfect blend of breakfast buttery ingredients in a medium sized bowl. If you are health conscience you will be disappointed. This is southern comfort food at it’s best. Expect lots of biscuits, butter, cheese, bacon and gravy! Lots of great breakfast options served all day. If you come for lunch the burgers and onion rings are great too.

Been here twice in the last few weeks to get my breakfast fix cured… And it did the job, but very greasy! So where I am going with this for all you Seinfeld fans… They are Napkin-Nazis… I personally want to thank Chipotle for taking care of my greasy hands issue… Martins will not give you more thank 1 teeny tiny napkin even if you ask! The food is pretty good, but heavy! Unfortunately this is my last time I will ever visit the Kennesaw location! Mountain Biscuits now has my business for my breakfast fix. Hope everyone in drive thru doesn’t spill, you’ll be at QT to clean yourself up!

Great old school biscuits joint. And cheap. Crazy lines sometimes, but that’s cause they’re great at simple old school cathead biscuits. Definitely not«Paleo», gluten-free or healthy.

Great option if you’re looking for cheap breakfast food that isn’t your typical fast food. The inside could’ve been cleaned up a little better. The coffee was okay and the eggs were good enough, but I was impressed with their biscuits and how juicy the grilled chicken was. You can’t miss out on adding sausage gravy to your order, though.

Every one of my guy friends raves about this place. They claim it is the best smoked sausage biscuit in Kennesaw and the prices are low. I needed to soak up some Jameson from the night before so I decided to give Martins a try. I ordered one of their«famous» smoked sausage biscuits, regular, with egg and a bottle of water. Let me be the first person to tell you, if you don’t speak your order rapid fire at the drive-thru ordering box, they will assume you’re done and just as you take a breath to order something else, they’ll assume your a new order. Notice, the word«assume» was used in my sentence twice. I ordered the smoked sausage biscuit and water and(gasp) took a second to literally inhale and was given my total and again welcomed to Martin’s and asked what I wanted. I had to tell the lady at the drive thru it was still me and I wasn’t done yet and was scolded. I even had to tell them at the pick up window that I had 2 biscuits and was again told to «speak up.» The search is over, Kennesaw, this is where the soup Nazi’s daughter works. Was I just shamed by a Waffle House waitress? You’ve been warned. Apparently, my guy friends have never been to Stilesboro Biscuits as that is the BEST biscuit in town. Martin’s biscuit was good but no where near the flaky, buttery texture I was used to. Martin’s smoked sausage was not a sausage link at all but a glorified hot dog. Yes, thats right, a hot dog cut in half and grilled. Every girls fear is when a guy hypes up their«massive sausage» and what we typically find is a sad, limp, gherkin style hot dog. Martin’s must be owned by a dude. I began to have flashbacks of my personal life before I tossed it back in the bag. Their bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was good but I didn’t finish that one either. There is something about a wet, uncooked egg that just isn’t appetizing. Maybe I came on a bad day? Overall, its not a bad breakfast choice if you know what you want before you order and you understand you get what you pay for.
