I went into HoneyBaked Hams because I had previously had good experiences with them in other stores. Well, not this one. Not after today. First I put my order in and was asked to pay before they finished making my sandwich. Really? Even Subway does better than that. I was asked for my phone number during the order taking process. When asked why they needed that, I was told«We won’t really call you.» So why do they want it again? Never got a good explanation for that… My order taker was so frazzled that he had a hard time remembering what was next and the answers to my simple questions — «What soups were available?» and«What normally comes with my sandwich?» The sandwich was okay. The soup was slightly cold. Just not impressed today with this store…

For Christmas we bought a ham and some sides for our dinner and it was all delicious. Honeybaked Ham has never disappointed with the food! These leftovers are my fav! My only critique is I think the employees should be better educated on the allergen-content of the food. My mom has Celiac’s and can’t eat gluten, therefore we asked an employee when ordering if the ham contained any(which you’d be surprised a lot of prepared deli meats do!) and we were told, «no.» When we got there, a different employee told us he couldn’t guarantee it and it took a while before a third person(I think a manager) came over to assure us in fact there is no gluten. Luckily she didn’t get sick, but it just makes me think if the manager didn’t come over, they would’ve lost business that day AND if this has happened to other people, their confidence in HBH is probably shot.
