Elite Retreat Salon & Spa

I had an appointment with Michael Lee, one of the hair stylists on staff at Elite Retreat.
He really listened to my requests and needs, and spent well over an hour on me for $ 55. He wasn’t rushed, and he genuinely thought about everything I said to him.
He also recommended an affordable product for me to purchase and use at home that has literally changed and improved my hairs texture in about a week.
Michael gave me a new look that is low maintenance, and with my coarse, curly hair, it’s not easy finding a stylist of his range and talent.
I’ve recommended Michael to friends who have also left his chair looking absolutely amazing.

I discovered this haven through one of my coupon deals. I had received some gift certificates for manicures/​pedicures via an Herbal Essences promotion, and since there wasn’t a participating salon in Kennesaw, the fulfillment center booked appointments for me and my daughter at Elite Retreat for 2 pedicures.
I was pleased to receive a confirmation call from the salon the morning of our appointments, and I was able to book brow waxes and upgrade the pedicures to spa pedicures easily.
Each person that we met at the spa was kind and helpful. My daughter had never had her eyebrows waxed before, and her treatment was extremely gentle, and she was so happy with her purple pedicure! The nail specialist even painted little bright pink hearts on her big toes (very sweet).
I found the service to be excellent, as well, and I was more than happy to pay the difference for our upgraded services and a tip.
I wish I could say that I planned to frequent this spa again, but to be brutally honest, I docked them a star because their prices are so very much higher than all other service providers in this area. With my gift certificates, the final price was reasonable, but if I had paid the full price for our services, plus tip, that would have decimated my «beauty» budget for the next few months.
I think this would be a wonderful place to receive a day spa certificate as a gift, but I would be hard pressed to justify the cost on any ongoing basis. But if I win the lottery, I’m all in!
