THE best dance studio in the Atlanta area. I’ve tried several studios in Atlanta and this studio has the friendliest students and instructors alike. The instructors are a great mix of professional and fun. They are very accommodating. I feel like Arthur Murray is my second home– I’m more comfortable here than my mom’s house! :-) The instructors are never impatient or demeaning. I love dancing for the social, laid-back aspect and my husband has a competitive edge. They suite both our needs. The group classes and weekly parties are fabulous as well. I love them!

Had been dancing here for a few years and then had to move on when my instructor left. Its an okay place to start learning but the instructor turnover is incredible. I saw 12 instructors come and go over 4 years. The other issue is that none of the instructors that I saw had any competitive or professional Ballroom experience. They are strictly in the Arthur Murray system and most of the instructors were taught on site. The system for student advancement doesn’t take into account a persons ability, its all based on the number of lessons you have had. So its interesting to see people advance to higher levels without really knowing the basics. The students at this studio are some of the nicest around, everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Very different from other more competitive studios in the area. The really interesting thing about Arthur Murray is that they do not play well with other studios, there is a great community of ballroom dancers here in Atlanta and plenty of events that are not sponsored or related to other studios(Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club, Atlanta Chapter of USA Dance, etc…) but you will never see Arthur Murray instructors at any of these events… sad.
