I made an appointment for today to have a deadbolt installed on an interior door, a replacement door knob installed on another door and one door knob tightened. The locksmith called to say he was on his way at the appointed time and did a nice job. He was here for all of 45 minutes. The initial bill was $ 505! When I objected to the price, he applied a 15% new customer discount. That is still a whole lot of money for 45 minutes in my opinion. I will not be having them back.
