My smoothie king experience went like this… Wait in line for 15 minutes. Struggle to order drinks from a woman who cannot understand me. Wait another 10 minutes for drink. Blenders break. Hassle. Hassle. No drink. Refund. I get things break, I get that airports are slow. What I don’t get is why there was so much hassle and horrible customer service. There was no communication the entire time. At least I got a refund, I was honestly a little surprised that they knew how to do that especially considering that the women working seemed very new and inexperienced. Based on this customer service, I will avoid this airport smoothie king.

As we all know, eating or drinking at most airports will cost you a hefty premium. Since our flight was delayed, we sauntered to this stall and ordered a large Carrot Kale Dream smoothie for $ 9.35(about a third more than Jamba Juice). Besides the price, the smoothie tasted good and was a much healthier option than some of the more greasy fares being sold. Customer service was OK but I was puzzled that they would not split the large smoothie into two cups! Maybe the extra 5 cents for a cup would make them go bankrupt!

I was at the aiport waiting for a flight on 06÷18÷15. It was 7:30pm and there were still workers present but when I asked to purchase a smoothie, the workers reply was«we’re not making any smoothies now.» If a place is open for business, then have products ready and available to be purchased! What else would one get from a smoothie king if not a smoothie??!

Got the ever popular Peanut Butter banana chocolate smoothie, and enjoyed some awesome food poisoning for the rest of the day in which I topped off my travel day with a visit to the ER. Talk about egg on my face for trying to go the healthy route. Proceed with caution folks, I don’t know what went wrong, but this was an outrageously awful experience!

Do not miss their smoothies. Its awesome, specially when you leave New orleans, your body need it after the all food you had, and it reflect the same height of taste that you experienced in the city

4.0 stars for our mango smoothie 1.0 star for poor health awareness by the employee While waiting for our flight departure at Concourse D, gate D3, we thought it’d be nice to have a Smoothie King which is similar to Orange Julius and Jamba Juice. I noticed an employee mopping the floor behind the counter. No big deal. I approached the counter to place my smoothie order. She reaches for the blender. What! No hand washing or wiping? Should I speak up? No, I’m a coward. But I’m thinking gross. I continue watching her prepare the drink but I’m feeling icky. I pay for the two smoothies. Go back to my gate and immediately use some antibacterial gel. I tell hubby but he’s not concerned. The smoothie was great. Good to the last slurp.

So my sister told me the basketball arena was named after this franchise. Being a former manager at Jamba Juice I was intrigued. This spot was absolutely delicious. I had a passport passion and it was glorious. They even sold candy. My fiancée had a frozen yogurt and she loved it.

After a week of punishing my body with deep fried food, Smoothie King was a godsend while waiting for my flight at the NOLA airport. The only other choices in the airport were sandwiches and cheesecake, so it was a pretty easy choice in my book. What really impressed me about Smoothie King is that you have the option to make your drink«skinny,» which means they’re not going to add the extra sugar. This can knock off a good 150 – 300 calories when you think about it. Could we have every restaurant add the«skinny» option to everything? Think about how much skinnier America would be! Cheers to a healthy food option while on the go and treating your body right!

Service is always quick & courteous. With a big menu of various smoothie flavors & limited time before boarding a plane, the employees have always been very helpful in making suggestions when I tell them what I like. Strawberry X-treme, FTW!

There are hardly any food choices at the airport in Nola and I was so hungry! Our flight was first delayed before we boarded then after we boarded. There were a few fast food options and one local food stand where everything was fried in the same oil as shell fish not at all keeping in mind people who have shell fish allergies like me which can be deadly. So out of the very few options available I got something at Smoothie King. There was a yogurt parfait with canned peaches and frozen strawberries in it. At least that’s what it seemed like. And I got a bag of mixed nuts. The yogurt was not super healthy but I was grateful to have something to eat after waiting so long in the airport! The employee was friendly. cant ask for much more at an airport with hardly any food.

This Smoothie King drew my attention because of the brightly colored signs advertising Grove frozen yogurt. The yogurt was not cheap at $ 3.19 for 5 oz($.53.oz), $ 3.69 for 7 oz, and $ 4.29 for 9 oz. but I still would have tried it if it had come in more flavors than vanilla and chocolate. Alas, I ended up buying a coconut water instead which was healthier, and probably skinnier, anyway.

I could go on a rant here about how smoothie joints are the most insidious contributor to obesity in the US, but I suppose this is neither the time nor the place. This Smoothie King is directly across from the gate I most often fly out of in New Orleans. Every once in a while I decide I can’t live without a strawberry banana smoothie, so I let them sucker me in. Even in when I’m the only person in line, it takes approximately 2 hours and 47 minutes to have my smoothie prepared and costs about $ 843. …Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but you get the point. This Smoothie King is about as slow as you can imagine, and disgustingly overpriced. Skip the empty calories and eat a piece of fruit instead.

Expensive(compared to other smoothie kings in the area), but the excellent staff that helped me pick something vegan without judging. Nice to know I can hydrate/recharge before I get on the plane. Considering I am always hungover when I leave New Orleans, this place is a lifesaver. They also have a little trail-mix-by-the-pound bar, where you can load up on crunchy protein!

I was dying of thirst and needed something none alcoholic. And then, I saw it, all in its beauty… the smoothie king. Finally!!! Something I can drink! I ordered the mangofest. It was delicious!!! Kinda pricey but thats expected at any airport. My stomach was making funny noises after I drank it though. I guess it has dairy in it. Just an FYI to those that are lactose intolerant!
