Good food, fun group experience… Nice Neighborhood Hibachi, we go regularly.

Chef next to us literally sang the entire time. Entire time. No one could talk or relax. Also people next to us were served rancid lobster. Never coming back

My boyfriend and I were searching for Hibachi away from the craziness of Mardi Gras parades. We don’t frequent Kenner much, but stumbled upon this place. It was really great food and hibachi. If we are ever in the neighborhood again we will be back!

My favorite Sushi place for affordable yet delicious specialty rolls. The Hibachi is great also with incomparable Filet Mignon and Fried rice that is out of this world. I love adding the white sauce to the fried rice for a unique experience.

i enjoys the hand rolls here whenever i come here to eat. i came and ate here two years ago and they really gave me a good deal for like 32 rolls. i remember the snow-crab rolls being all delicious, and when ate here a couple of days ago they were the same fresh and delicious tasting rolls i remembered. I love the atmosphere because it’s mostly quiet and warm. My waiter made sure my glass stayed full and i stayed satisfied, so he deserved a great tip. i had ordered the snow crab roll and their crunchy roll and i was very satisfied. Great place!

Some minor issues with staging. I ordered chicken yakatori as an appetizer, three normal rolls, and a deep fried roll. I got the Philly & crunchy rolls first, then the dynamite roll, followed by the yakatori, and finally the deep fried Gold Point Roll. I didn’t care for the flavor of the Gold Point roll, but that sort of thing happens on occasion when you try something new. In response to a question, I can’t quite put my finger on what i disliked about the Gold Point roll. Possibly the flavor of the oil it was fried in. It just didn’t taste sushi-like to me, if that makes any sense.

Yum yum yum!!! Best house(ginger) salad I’ve eaten in my entire life!!! I’ll go there just for that salad. Embarrassing but I end up drinking the dressing it’s so good! The sushi is always so good. And their hibachi can’t be beat. We always get the Chef Begas(probably spelling that wrong) but we got a new guy last time and I wasn’t impressed with him at all, he needs some more schooling. Their wait staff is always so sweet and remembers all of our names. Makes me want to go there even more!

OK, get this over from the start: the food is OK. Pretty good sushi. The salad uses dressing from a jar — disappointing when you’re used to fresh at the same prices, but the miso soup was good. What REALLY made the experience sub-enjoyable was the unkempt place and the real filth in the bathrooms. When a business doesn’t pay attention to the cleanliness of the public spaces, what are they doing behind the counter? Lighting fixtures hanging down, dirty tables with filthy(and I mean filthy) wine advertisements on the table, and spots on the silverware made me wary about eating. The waiter was NOT interested in taking an order from the roll menu and guided me firmly to the dinner saying that substitutions could be made. Well they weren’t, so I ended up with a dinner I didn’t want and when I brought it up with the waiter got a smile and a shrug. Beyond that, the Air Supply’s Greatest Hits album vying with the classical music playing at the same time, the carpet you trip over, and the wallpaper coming off of the wall seems insignificant. We won’t be visiting again.

I got food poisoning from this place. I had the tempura udon soup for takeout and my friend ate a few bites of the tempura and at 3am both of us woke up puking. And I mean PUKING. I haven’t puked that much in over 10 years. And we had diarrhea. I felt sick all day the next day too which sucked because I was in town for Mardi gras and it was hard to really enjoy my experience. The soup itself wasn’t even very good. I’ve had much better soups of that type. I also had a salmon roll which was pretty good. My friend didn’t have any so it obviously wasn’t that that made us sick. I would’ve assumed the raw fish would be a more likely culprit but I guess not. They must’ve handled the tempura improperly or something. Anyway, don’t go there, basically…

Ok so this used to be my go to hibachi spot until today. The server gave me the most disgusting sushi(salmon skin). It tasted horrible like burnt/scorched construction paper. So I politely returned it to order something else. Then I caught him talking about me. Basically calling me stupid. I’m so disappointed. I definitely won’t be returning anymore. Old review: My favorite sushi spot! They have the best sushi. I’ve tried almost everyone roll. The hibachi is great too. The only thing is don’t expect good Alcoholic beverages. They are horrible. I always get a salad and oshumashi soup to start. The soup is simple but tasty and the ginger dressing on the salad is delicious

I really like this place. I have been going here since they opened. I think it is a great value, especially the lunch hibachi menu, for the price. I usually order lunch sushi from here once a week. love the spicy tuna and dynamite rolls. I am always recognized when I come in and service has always been good. I have also brought family here on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve because it is always a pretty easy place to get in on holidays and to sit and have a nice meal… Definitely recommend them.

Minus 1 star because the inside looks and feels a little gross. It needs a good, thorough cleaning. Sushi was AWESOME. Got the snow crab roll and philadelphia roll. They both tasted sooo fresh and natural… if that makes sense. I am glad i found this little place!

My boyfriend and I went here on our first date and have continued to go for two years. It’s in a sketchy part of Williams(what part of Williams isn’t sketchy?) and was weary to go here when it was recommended by a friend. First of all, the staff is HILLARIOUS and super friendly. The hibachi is not overpriced at all(9.95 for lunch hibachi chicken and 15 at dinner… comes with fried rice, vegetables, soup and salad at both times) and is generously portioned… I always have leftovers. When I’m not feeling the hibachi their sushi is great! I recommend the jazz roll… super filling. In my opinion, this is one of the best kept secrets in Kenner, as far as hibachi/sushi is concerned. Give it a try!

I received some of the worst food poisoning of my life after dining here and eating their sushi. Like Tamia said, the ingredients are not fresh and authentic, it is like knock off sushi(best way I can describe it). They try to make it look jazzy but what really lies here is a hidden beast waiting to erupt and rebel… in your stomach! It is a dark dungeon atmosphere wise the service is meh and after the bout with several days of sickness, yeah I will not be back.

Best hibachi in the area, especially for the price! Japanese soup, salad, rice our noodles and two shrimp come with dinner. The fillet is delicious and makes sake sushi my favorite steak house. Everything is consistently delicious! I am more or less addicted to this place!

After spotting this place by accident, I’ve eaten here several times. The parking lot is small so I often go around the block and park alongside the building. The sashimi and the rolls are always fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The regular sushi dinner comes with more than enough food and includes salad and soup. I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar & watch the chefs work. Friendly and receptive, interacting with the chefs are part of what I enjoy about dining here. Their miso soup uses silken tofu and has a nice flavor. My most recent bowl of green tea ice cream tasted a bit freezer burned so they apparently don’t get much call for it. There appears to be a strong local following based upon the number of folks having their birthday here. The hibachi(teppanyaki) grills are popular and the chefs are fun to watch«perform» while cooking. The service is attentive and friendly, and the staff is always happy to see you.

The meal: Edamame, Wasabi Tobiko Roll and Rainbow Roll. Marginal, at best. The edamame was the only delicious part of the meal. But, this restaurant cannot take credit for what Mother Nature did! At least they added salt and heated the edamame to the correct temperature. The sushi rolls were almost fair. The problem: they both contained chopped fake crab — which was definitely NOT mentioned on the menu. I detest fake crab. At least tell me up front so I can make a choice. Not worth visiting. Not fresh or authentic. The table was sticky, the whole place was dark, the walls were covered in cheap-o bamboo mats that you’d use at the beach, and the overall décor was Goodwill-ish.
