M&C Taxi Service

Beware of the scam!!! I had the taxi dispatcher summons a cab for me with the instructions I was paying with a credit card as I was on business travel. Once we arrived at my hotel, he attempted to run my credit card. He said it wasn’t going through and I needed to pay cash. When I examined the print out at the bottom it said «User Abort Cancelled» meaning he interrupted the communications. He did this 3 times, as I continually told him that he is not giving the machine enough time. I finally relented anxious to get to an appointment and I withdrew cash from the on-​site ATM machine. Since there was a $ 3 service fee, I took this out of the fare and paid him. He cursed at me and stormed off. He intentionally aborted the credit card machine in an effort for me to give him cash. It only worked because I had meeting to get to and didn’t have time to waste with this guy.
