I bought a groupon thinking I would be getting a full set of lash extension but you get 25 single eye lashes per eye. You are also charged $ 7 one time fee for taxes?!

Dropped my wife here to pamper herself a little bit while we were in town for a family reunion… when she came home she was saying how happy she was with everything… my wife is beautiful already but she did something different with her make up and she looked amazing. I don’t know all terminology but Lexie Bloom did an excellent job… She has gone to other places and has had a not so good experience… too bad she is not here in California. Thanks for making my wifes day!

I love my eyelashes and she was so sweet and so anxious to please us. She even gave us an additional discount. She was very profressional and did an excellent job putting the lashes on. I highly recommend using lexie bloom for eyelash extensions. Great product and great prices.

I bought the $ 35 lash groupon with two refills. I have had lashes before so I understood the process and that it was not a full set. I was kind of skeptical that the eyelashes would look good or stand out because of the low amount of extensions applied. They look really nice and for the price I am happy with the service. Lexie was really sweet and seemed genuinely happy to help me look my best. Lexie took me last minute and even stayed after closing to do my lashes. She didn’t seem aggravated or rushed. I REALLY enjoyed the experience. She also lets customers«spin a wheel» during checkout for discounts on the next visit for various services. I got 35% off a future eyebrow service. I thought that was a cool touch. Side note: other reviews mention the weird location and it is kind of weird. Deff don’t let the outside appearance deter you from going inside. The inside is clean, nice, and relaxing. I booked my refill appointment(she recommended 1.5−2 weeks). Will update next time for my refill.

This is what I get for buying eyelash extensions with a Groupon. Let’s start from the beginning, kids. Cue wavy flashback effect. I buy the Groupon since I’m like, oh hey it will be great to get eyelash extensions for my wedding, how fun. I don’t remember how setting an appointment was because it was so long ago, but let’s start at me trying to confirm my appointment. It’s Saturday, my appointment is Tuesday. I call during their specified office hours and no answer. I leave a message. I call again on Monday, during their specified office hours, and leave another message. Still not a peep. Leave another message. This is in between calling them at various hours of the day, all during their office hours, and having no one answer. Finally, Tuesday rolls around the Lexie finally calls me, confirming my appointment. The location is weird, but I can’t fault her for that. It’s located in Kenner, in a nondescript and seemingly randomly placed complex of small businesses. I did find it pretty easily thanks to my GPS. She was exactly on time, and invited me into the cozy space. She had me fill out and sign some standard paperwork, etc. She was very sweet to both me and my fiancée, and seems like a genuinely nice person. The service itself was quick. What I didn’t realize is that, unbeknownst to me, the Groupon was not for a full set of eyelashes but rather just a few here and there. That was fine with me since I didn’t want to look like a clown since I prefer a more natural look. Here’s where it gets weird: during the eyelash service, you are laying on a table while the technician applies the lashes. You can’t open your eyes or move around due to the adhesive process. At first she was making small talk and it was fine. She was asking about our wedding, where the ceremony is being held. Then we got onto the subject of spirituality. I’m not even sure who really brought it up, since we were discussing the ceremony and the church it’s being held in. I made the mistake of mentioning that I wasn’t religious, but that my fiancée was, ergo our vaguely Christian ceremony. Let me preface this by saying that despite being an atheist, I am extremely respectful of those who are religious and understand the value religion holds. But when you’re essentially being held captive, and the lady applying your eyelashes is trying to proselytize to you? That pisses me off. That’s not a conversation between equals. I’m glad you believe in God and Jesus and have a great relationship with them, but please don’t try to convert me when my poor eyelashes and eyeballs are at your mercy. I did not really react to this in an attempt to cover my shock and be as polite as possible since, as I noted, Lexie really is a sweet person and was not doing this maliciously. I just don’t think it occurred to her how incredibly uncomfortable it makes your customers when you preach to them. Now, I was willing to overlook this weirdness. My fiancée said maybe she was just nervous because we are both women and she wanted to express her acceptance of us. I was even willing to consider her for future services, although I don’t really need makeup or facials that often. I paid my tax(which I’ve never had to do with a Groupon before, so that was weird but whatever) and left. Not two days later, my eyelash extensions started falling off with huge chunks of my natural lashes going with them. This is after taking a lot of care in following Lexie’s aftercare instructions. I did not go around wearing protective goggles, but I wasn’t going for a swim and rubbing my eyes, either. Obviously I was and am very upset with this, considering the fact that I now have attractive bald spots on my eyelids where my once beautiful lashes used to be. I think part of the issue is that I chose to get lash clusters instead of individual lashes, and after some research it turns out that this method is frowned upon by many lash technicians due to the fact that the weight is too much for an individual lash and it can cause exactly what I experienced. I contacted her via e-mail expressing my dissatisfaction and she was extremely prompt in responding. I gave her my availability and I am waiting for her to call me or e-mail me back with a time that I can come in to have these removed. I’m getting married in 4 days, so we’re down to the wire. I will update my review when/if my concerns are resolved and hope that my natural lashes aren’t totally ruined for my wedding. ETA: She just called me back and although I was able to get in last minute to get my eyelashes removed, she is charging me for the removal. I am extremely annoyed at the lack of customer service. She did offer to give me a new set of lashes, which obviously I don’t want. I’m going elsewhere to get my lashes removed since if I have to spend money I would rather spend it at a business I want to support. ETA2: I was able to get into Buff Beauty Bar last minute to get my lashes removed and they were great.
