Holy Mackeral! God, I love this place!
I’ve been to many of the other Tacos Guaymas locations and they’re all pretty equivalent in quality. I do have a special place in my heart for this location though because it is just so close to home!
I’m a giant fan of the burritos. They are giant! Big portions & cheap food & great flavor!

God, the food here is huge. And cheap. And surprisingly tasty.
Yes, its sort of a dive, but the food is made fresh and they’re fast.
One burrito can easily feed two people for lunch, making for a really cheap lunch.

I’ve ate at Tacos Guaymas in Fremont and Greenlake, but the Kenmore location seems to be the best. Yeah, the restaurant isn’t anything special. but their tacos (specifically Kenmore’s) are MUCH tastier than the other locations. Not sure what it is. Maybe it’s that eastside charm.
Another reason I dig this place is for their staff. One girl who works there, is gossipy as hell. She’s always there, and she’ll come on to your man or ask why you haven’t been around. To quote her once– talking to my boyfriend, «You mens is all the same».
Awesome.
