Monro Muffler Brake & Service

Absolute worst service I have ever received. We took my car in due to the check engine light being on. 300 $ later they informed me that they «fixed» the problem. The next morning the light was back on and the car was running worse than before we brought it in. I took it to another place and was told that it was a completely different problem. The other place fixed the problem and my car has been perfect since. I called monro to tell them what the correct diagnosis was for my car and the manager immediately became rude and defensive. He refused to own up to any wrong doing and began speaking to me in a loud slow tone indicating that I was not intelligent enough to understand what he was saying. I told him to stop speaking to me in that tone and he began to get louder. He refused to do anything to resolve this issue and continued to be extremely ignorant. Worst consumer service I have ever received. If you’re thinking of going to them for any type of service don’t walk away… RUN!!!

Horrible mechanics. First off they charge over 100.00 just for an engine scan, something that auto zone does for free. I brought my car there due to engine light coming on and was told it would be a 630.00 job to replace four o2 sensors. I said no way and ended up getting just the one bad one replaced. The engine light came right back on so I brought the car to another mechanic and it turns out the mass airflow sensor was bad not the o2 sensors. I was only charged 135.00 for the maf sensor to be replaced by the other mechanic shop. I wasted 270.00 at Monroe for nothing and would have been 630.00 if I listened to them and replaced all 4. They upsell everything and obviously don’t know what they are doing as well as being wayyyyyy overpriced compared to other places. Wish I would have read all these bad reviews before going.

well, if you dont mind an auto place with surveillance cameras, then this is the place for you. I left my bike here by accident when i picked up my car. I realized two day later I had left it. I went to see if it was there. The manager told me they had put it in the back when they found it. They went to grab it and it had «vanished.» Someone on the inside who works for this company stole my $ 3,000 mountain bike. No one is fessing up to it. Police report was made. Clearly cant trust these people. Nor can they even look into surveillance cameras to see who took it. Maybe its just me, but every auto shop should have cameras seeing that we are leaving our cars with strangers for hours at a time with our personal belongings in them. I won’t quit until I find this bike. This company should be ashamed of the poor management here and better start writing that check for me if they can’t shake their pathetic employees. This place is clearly not even worth 1 star. This is me trying to remain calm.
