We called Mark of Excellence and they came right out to our house. Nick the salesman was very professional and he came up with a price but we weren’t sure if we could afford it. The next day he called back and negotiated another price. The bathroom tub and tiled walls came out great! I’m so glad that they were flexible with their pricing which showed me that they care about the customers needs. I would recommend them to anyone!

I paid this company 6 months ago to redo my patio and as of now, I have received no response, giving me the runaround with each call. I’ve asked for a refund multiple times, and still haven’t heard anything. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN

I was introduced to Mark of ‘Excellence’ at a home remodeling show when I was looking for a company to finish my basement. When I set up the appointment they kept calling and calling me to confirm the appointment (‘yes — I get it — I have an appointment!) and the appointment itself went fine. However I never received the quote afterwards that I was promised yet they kept calling and emailing me if I needed anything else! Weirdest thing ever…

Stay away from this company. They came weeks late, brought the wrong materials and argued about the job. When I cancelled they promised a partial refund but they never sent a penny. I would give them zero stars but it is not possible to choose that. The address of Mark of Excellence is in Kenilworth NJ but they advertised my area as a service area. I am still waiting for the refund they promised.
