This is probably one of my favorite hole in the walls. Their sushi always tastes really fresh and the service is great. The owner is always there helping and getting to know her customers. And the guy that usually serves is great too. My favorite is the Thai with everything in it.

I’ve eaten here on multiple occasions and I haven’t been disappointed. I went with a big group of people and the food came out very quickly and it was very good. I’ve gotten take out at least 3 times and every time it has been ready in less than 15 min, the order is always correct and the food is always good. The atmosphere is nice and the people who work there are very kind and welcoming. I recommend this place to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

Went to Fuji Hana for their Happy Hour Dinner Service. have to admit I have had sushi in a lot of places, but this one is amazing. The Happy Hour list has a lot of choices. The gyozas are awesome fried and crispy when you bite into them. For sushi we saw another group order the boat which brings you a whole lot of different sushi. We had for our table was California Roll, JB roll, Salmon on the rice, Eel, Tuna Roll, and Dynamite. All of them were amazing. Especially the eel with the eel sauce. To wash it all down we had Green Tea sweet. It is very good.

Not only do they deliver but the sushi is excellent and fresh! I could not get enough. The ambiance is authentic and when you dine in you feel like you have been transported to Japan. The prices are also the best in town for portion size.

So I’ve been frequenting this place a lot more often lately. Today I got the red curry. One thing about this place is, unlike most Thai places, I got four out of five today in spice and I couldn’t taste any heat. Also it was like 90% sauce. Aside from that, it tasted amazing. Just don’t think it’s worth the price tag for the amount you get.

Can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place. I’ve been coming here for years, one year I would come twice a week. Home made dressings, good food, and hen is the best! Get tom ka jay coconut soup and shiitake mushroom skewers those are the bomb!

Best Sushi in town. Super fresh! Ask for a surprise roll. They never fail on that. Enjoy!

The sushi is ok but what gives it 3 stars is the service for the most part. Either not enough servers to handle the load, or forgetful servers who refuse to write down the orders. The people are actually really nice, but nice is not enough. It’s not a terrible place, middle of the road is about it though.

I’ve been coming here regularly with the family for years and let me tell you, the owners are what set this place apart. The sushi selection is great, the fish they use is always fresh and the variety of selection is fantastic but the level of attention you receive from the owner & the staff is second to none. It’s very much a family friendly atmosphere and an ingrained institution in the local neighborhood. We don’t get out there as often as we’d like to but we always find ourselves back at Fuji Hana. I highly recommend it.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been ordering from here for almost 10 years and their food is always spectacular. If you ever want good Sushi or Thai I highly recommend you give it a try. Ask for Yen, she is amazing! It’s gotten to the point where I call and she already knows my order by heart. :) The service is great, the food is great, the environment is great… even the delivery guy is great! You will not regret going here!!! Love these guys! Only downfall — Prices are a bit high.

Great place to eat sushi. In reality I’ve probably eaten there at least 70 times over about a decade. Only once did I have anything other than outstanding food and service, today. When Jen is there Everything runs smooth. The other people apparently didn’t know how to use the online ordering system. Rather than saying that. When I went there the guy fiddled with the computer for about 5 minutes. Finally printed the order and lied saying he tried to call me. I have ordered plenty times so I was waiting for the call. I just had them cancel. If it were my first time going there I wouldn’t return. Everything is very fresh, cut in appropriate portions and presented nicely. The side salads and miso soup are yummy as well. If my wife liked sushi I’d had eaten there at least double the amount of times. I will continue to order from there. One note is that I never dined in. Although it’s decent space.

Can’t really say much about this sushi place. It was decent sushi but there wasn’t anything really exciting about my experience here.

I hadn’t been to Fuji Hana in quite a while. Usually I just order delivery. The food always gets to my house warm and fresh. I love the fact that Fuji Hana offers both Thai and Japanese items on their menu. My boyfriend was craving sushi and it was his birthday, we were in the neighborhood so we decided to stop in. It was rather slow so the service was really fast! We loved it since we were in kind of a rush. The Pad Thai is phenomenal. I had the special Tropical Mango Roll, it never disappoints!

First off, oh my god, the salmon roll here was THE best, sweetest, juiciest salmon I’ve ever bitten into. I ordered one and just had to order two more. And they were only 1.40! I also got a delicious cucumber roll for just a dollar, and three gyozas for only 2.40! My girl got the spring rolls and said they were very delicious for also 2.40. The best part was the main rolls on the white slip. 4 pieces for only 2 dollars! I got the dynamite„ deep fried jb, bbq tuna, caliente, and spicy tuna. The meal was amazing and honestly this is the best and the cheapest sushi I’ve ever had and I love it! This is definitely my new place to eat sushi!!!

While visiting Miami recently my wife and I were looking for a good place for sushi. After reading some reviews on Unilocal we decided to give Fuji Hana a try. We were greeted by Jiro, an most energetic and accommodating host! He immediately asked what we wanted to drink and brought us water and some of the best green tea I’ve had yet in a Japanese restaurant. My wife and I ordered a couple of sushi rolls and a few pieces of sushi. The fish was fresh and the rolls properly prepared. As a matter of fact the California rolls were twice the size of the ones we get here in NYC. The tuna was fresh as was the yellowtail and fluke. I was also able to get conch which is not available in NYC. All the while our host Jiro was making sure everything was to our liking. I was in Florida for 5 weeks so a week later I returned for more sushi and Jiro greeted me by my name and made me feel very welcome. I ordered the same rolls as my first visit and tried some different sushi. Jiro gave me some red clam to try it was quite good. The restaurant also serves Thai food and for desert one night we tried the Thai doughnuts. Little balls of delicious fried dough served with a very sweet condensed milk dipping sauce and crushed peanuts. Wow was that good. On my last visit I tried their Thai noodle soup with slices of pork, just call it a meal in a bowl. I had also tried the steamed shu mai appetizer, it was good but not the best I’ve had. If yer in this area of Kendall Florida stop in and say hi to Jiro. Tell him Alan sent ya…

Still in town on business and went to Iron Sushi in downtown Dadeland and was very disappointed. Still needed my sushi fix! Looked on Unilocal and this place had the best rating and reviews in the area so I had to go! When I do sushi, I like to treat myself with a little variety so I went for a couple of rolls and sushi which consisted of Conch, Salmon, Tuna, Snapper, Scallops, Yellowtail, Dynamite Rolls, and a Rainbow Supreme Roll. Overall, it was OK. Iv’e had better and worse. Fish seemed semi fresh, rice was good cooked but some of the combinations were just not good. The Rainbow Supreme Roll for example was more weird than enjoyable. I am not sure if it was the mixture of the cream cheese and the eel or what it was but the flavor and consistency was not appetizing at all. Also, a couple of rolls looked like it had canned fish? I posted a pic, you be the judge of whats in that mystery roll. Definitely not horrible(besides the one roll with canned fish), but not deserving of the 4 stars it has. Phatboy tested, palate sort of approved… sort of. :/

My husband and I were regulars of Fuji Hana for many, many years(5+). We used to dine there 1−2x per week. It was our go to sushi spot — quick, cheap, decent food, and great service. Upon venturing off to try other sushi places in the area, our visits to Fuji Hana became less frequent. Fast forward to present time We went for happy hour last night, and not much has changed — the waiter was great, the food was wonderful, and everything was brought out exactly to our liking. This place has never had much wow factor in terms of appearance, but I did notice that it seemed a lot more run down than I ever remember it being. I personally believe that they should do away with their blue cloth napkins, as they’re dingy and smell weird. Who wants to wipe their mouth with that? The high chairs were also dirty and beat up. I’m not saying they need a makeover(I know that can get expensive), but they should really tidy up a little. In the restaurant industry, looks matter. We love Fuji Hana, and we’ll be coming back, but they could use a little help.

This used to be one of my go-to happy hour sushi spots. After a long hiatus, I was eager and excited to eat here again not knowing this would be the end of the road for me. I understand these are happy hour prices, but there is absolutely no reason to compromise the quality of the sushi.(Ra Sushi does not disappoint with their HH). The fish shouldn’t be dry and pale looking. The eel is NOBUENO! I shouldn’t have to worry about swallowing tiny bones and getting stuck in my throat, making for an uncomfortable situation. It was a little on the chewy side as well. The sea-weed’s texture was not pleasant, chewy rather. Maybe it was an off night. What was ordered: Tomkha Gai(Lemongrass Chicken Soup) — Coconut milk, lime juice, galanga root, mushrooms, lemongrass, scallions, and a hint of roasted chili paste. This Thai soup is very good, barely any chicken but still delicious. A Variety of HH Sushi Rolls — Entirely too much rice and very little pale dry protein. They should just be called Rice Rolls. Tempura Shrimp — Battered and deep fried… Tasteless to me. Did not care for it. ~Service has always been fast and friendly. ~Nice and cozy atmosphere. ~Great happy hour prices all night long! Bottom line is that fast and friendly with happy hour prices just won’t cut it when I have sushi cravings. It’s not enough to drag me in here and certainly not for Thai soup either. P. S. Hello to my stalker, RG! #GetALife!

I was initially excited when our super sweet server said we had arrived during Happy Hour. «NANI?» Yes. Ridiculously cheap sushi noms. A tempura MENU. Beef and chicken satay skewers. Potstickers and hot appies ALSO at low low prices. They all TASTED as cheap as they were priced, though. Admittedly, I will probably go again. I will just a) Order different things off the happy hour menu to see if anything is better value or b) Order from the bar, not the happy hour menu. It’ll be tough for them to compete with nearby J Tokyo, though!

This is a very good option for an Asian restaurant in Kendall that delivers. They have an excellent online ordering system and charge an automatic 15% gratuity to the order along with the $ 3.99 delivery charge. We got a call back in less than 5 minutes to confirm the online order. All the items arrived in 25 minutes and were hot and wrapped to avoid leaking. The spring rolls and shrimp in the blanket were filled with large and fresh items but they were thin and small. The pad thai had a ton of white chicken pieces but it did not have alot of peanut flavor and did not have bean sprouts. The tuna was fresh and was thinly sliced. The chili basil had alot of meat and fresh basil but too many onions and peppers for the dish. You will pay a slightly higher price than Tani Thai or Sea Siam but you get more meat in the main dishes. A great delivery option.
