Uncle J´s is one of the freshest seafood restaurants this far inland. They are a blessing to our small community. Don’t come here expecting a waitre d´, or sommelier. This is a laid back, flip flop, t shirt wearing environment. The food is awesome, I’m never ashamed to bring anyone to Uncle J’s.

The food is fantastic! Fresh gulf shrimp! Great gumbo! Nothing fancy but awesome just the same. The service was fast and right on time never in your face when you don’t need something. Must try the swamp sauce! I will be back.

I was very disappointed with UncleJs. We had booked a party with them for Oct 9th starting at 7pm because per them they did most of their business on Friday night between 430 and 7. Later they decided they didn’t want to close the restaurant for a private party. I told them OK we were fine with sharing the restaurant and our entertainment with others. After that UncleJs quit returning my calls and text. Luckily we were able to find another venue but at a later date. We will NEVER come to UncleJs again.
