The Poppin Shop

Went there today for some Christmas gift tins. What an awesome variety of favors !! I love that you can mix any favors you want into a tin. I loved the jalapeño flavor popcorn and the caramel chocolate drizzle was to die for. They also sell fudge ! Really wish I had sampled that too. The best part is they make all this on premises and you can sample anything first to make sure you like it. Parmesan garlic popcorn? Dill pickle?! Where have you been all my life. I will be back.

If you are looking for a creative snack, fun treat, unique party favor or large quantities of popcorn, look no further. I’ve been shopping here for years. Owner is fabulous, creative and customer focused. Most recently, I wanted fun gifts for 2 new teachers and one niece away at college. I was able to purchase an asst of different flavored popcorn in goodie bag sizes. They offer tins, boxes or cello bags. The gifts were fun, interesting and a huge hit! In the past, I’ve purchased popcorn in the color of my party themes. Raspberry blue, rainbow and even dill pickle for a baby shower. What a fun, family owned, local business. Love this place! Can’t say how pleased I am anymore. Try them!!!

We love this place. We started going there for Christmas gifts but it quickly became a favorite place to go when we just wanted some good popcorn or fudge for a treat. My kids love the flavors and they are always willing to let you try before you buy. The customer service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. If you need a gift or just want to treat yourself with some great popcorn while watching movies at home this is the place to go!

There’s a restaurant in Las Vegas in the Cosmopolitan hotel. It’s called Holstein’s. As their «bread on the table», they serve salt and vinegar popcorn. Some friends and I have tried to perfect the recipe to no avail. Poppin’ Shop has it down pat!
My husband always had a small popcorn shop close to his home, but it went out of business. Having had many fond memories of this place, he’s always been on the lookout for a new popcorn shop. We happened upon the Poppin’ Shop one day while with his mom and they both highly enjoyed a revisited memory of his childhood.
The variety is AWESOME! They have at least 20 flavors of popcorn ranging from Jalapeño to Cheddar, Cinnamon Toast to Blueberry. The size ranges from an extra small (about the size of a large ziplock bag) to a 20lb bag for parties. My husband opted for the «rainbow» pack which included the following flavors: Cherry, Orange, Lemon, Banana, Lime, Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Blueberry, and Grape.
On display they also have different «gift» ensembles in case you’re looking for a unique and tasty gift for everything from a new baby to a hostess gift.
The prices are really decent and the staff running it (I think it’s a family business?) are very friendly. They’ll even let you have a sample to try any flavor you want.
Definitely try this place, you will be hooked! (Oh and they sell fudge too!)

The Poppin Shop has the BEST cheddar cheese popcorn ever! It is sooo good! It isn’t made with that yucky powder — it’s made with a «cheese paste». Don’t let the sound of that fool you, it is the most delicious stuff on earth! I have tried the butter popcorn too and that is delicious as well. BUT, I am a fan of the cheddar for sure! They have tons of flavors to pick from and you can have it bagged in a plastic bag if just for you or placed in a decorative tin if using as a gift. The make popcorn for all occasions (they had some cool popcorn balls and chocolate/​nut drizzled popcorn for Valentine’s Day this past year! YUMMY!
They also have a case full of fresh fudge that I have sampled and it is wonderful as well! They have a small fridge with a tiny selection of drinks — but you don’t go there for that anyways! The women that own the shop are so friendly and after being in a few times, even remembered my name and usual order (I know … that’s sad)!
Will I return? Of course, and you should too!
