Lunch special is good deal at $ 8. Had spring roll and salad and a soup for appetizer. Peanut butter sauce for spring roll is pretty good, veggie soup is good. Coconut soup needs some time to get used to depend on your background. Pad thai is average, red curry is better than average, id order pad kee mao with extra spicy next time. Pretty fast and decent customer service.

So good! I had the Pad Woon-Sen with chicken and the Hubby had Yellow Curry with chicken. Both of us polished the plates and left full and happy.

We tried this place for the first time yesterday. All I can say is the food is delicious and an excellent value. The place is clean, the service good and the staff is very friendly. It‘s BYOB but we went there to eat, not drink. This is a new favorite.

This place is the bombdiggity, if you like your hot«Thai Hot» this is the place for you… personally I am more of a mild guy but the food here is excellent, no matter what you heat preference!

I visit this restaurant on nearly a weekly basis! Love their panang curry, chicken satay, fresh spring rolls, and I’m addicted to their Thai iced tea. Family owned and operated and they are some of the nicest people ever(they know my take-out order by heart)! Can’t say enough good things about Sea Siam.

I am basing my rating on the food alone, as my initial treatment was dismissive until after I finished my order and told her I saw them on Unilocal. I walked into the restaurant and the woman who took my to-go order was in a rush to help the white couple who came in behind me, and they were going to sit and eat in the restaurant not to-go. Rather than politely allowing me to just finish my order, she cut me off more than once, asking if my order was done, actually turned to walk away toward them more than once, and clearly she wanted to help them instead. They went and took their own seat, so it’s not as if I was holding up their order. The Thai tea I ordered was very very very sweet, I’ve never tasted it so sweet, and she was kind enough to take it off the order. When I mentioned that it was way too sweet, she offered me iced tea instead. I told her that if I wanted ice tea I would have ordered ice tea, but I wanted Thai tea. She offered me water, and I accepted. The order: The meal came to a total of 17.00. I ordered pad ki Mau, and pad woo sin, and I have provided the photos of the food which took less than ten minutes to make. Both were ordered with a spicy level of 3.5 out of 5 and tasted more like a 4.5 heat index. The food was plentiful in both containers. Good proportion of noodles to vegetables in both containers. The containers are made out of foil, so the food will not get soggy after a short time. The drunken noodles and the pad woo sin were just the right texture, nicely seasoned. I will try their basil fried rice in the future.

Love our neighborhood Thai restaurant, The food is great and the owners are very Pleasant and Kind. The peanut sauce is to die for.(in fact you can now buy at Whole foods, it is that good). I would recommend, lunch menu is very reasonable with a nice variety of choices.

Only been here a few times and have yet to have an experience that was remotely close to bad. I need to explore more options but what I have had has been really, really good. I saw some bad reviews of the Coconut Soup… I am on the fence on this one, I like it but it is rich. I will continue to visit and visit more as it is much healthier than fast food.

Been here couple of times, I felt service is bad, lady was not listening, vegetable soup had strong smell which made it impossible to drink. Plus we ordered drunken noodles, when it was served clearly I could see dirty plate and few other food particles which are not part of this dish, the plate looked sticky on sides and definitely not cleaned, when complained she was little rude and not agreeing. Not stepping in ever. These people should Definitely consider about hygiene and better service. Rip off

After reading several of these reviews we were wondering if we ate at the same Sea Siam. We did. First impression is the place is in dire need of a facelift. Once seated we had a chance to take in our surroundings only to see several spider webs hanging from corners. The one closest to our table had a large spider near it on the wall. The table cloth was filthy. Looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in several weeks. The food we ordered was very bland. The chicken satay tasted like it had been microwaved. I do have to say that the staff was very nice. We really wanted to like this place but the food coupled with their need for some deep cleaning will keep us from returning.

Wish I still lived in the area — had to pay these guys a visit recently. After all these years, they still blow my mind. Best Thai I’ve ever put in my body — I don’t understand why they charge so little, I’d pay whatever they asked of me. If you’re looking for another of the«TEX-MEX-Thai» places that spring up everywhere and just coat Thai-based dishes with copious amounts of lime and cilantro — please keep looking. If you’re looking for good/authentic food at a reasonable price, your search just ended

So I ordered a dinner combination to go. I am willing to come back and retry this place. I got the Pad See Ew noodles plate(my all time favorite go to dish). It was dry and flavorless… They didn’t stir it with enough sauce. And I forgot to tell them my spicy level and they never asked. So I got some dried chili flakes on the side. The combination dinner comes with a soup and a small appetizer. Wonton soup– Excellent! It was very flavor! Had some meat in it and some veggies(maybe baby bok choy). Delightful soup. Shrimp Spring roll — you mean VEGGIE spring roll. It had 1 shrimp sliced in half and spread out. It was PACKED with iceberg lettuce, and shredded carrots and some noodles… It was not good. And I love spring rolls. It was essentially the side salad in a rice paper wrap. Side salad– same thing. shredded iceberg lettuce and carrots. The peanut sauce for the salad and spring roll(I’m telling ya, don’t order the spring roll if you get the salad already. It’s the same thing!) — peanut sauce was… weak. It lacked flavor. Just dipping the lettuce spring roll in it was not enough. It’s missing something… Not sure what. Service– was okay… They seemed rushed and did not have structure. I’m guessing it was husband and wife. I put in a last minute order of thai tea, and the husband looked frustrated he had to add that in after they already made my meal and packed up and ready to be paid for. He actually made that exasperated exhale. The wife was pleasant, but she was all about taking care of her regulars who came in AFTER me. So she hurriedly made my drink and then left me standing there waiting until her regulars left. Then they both saw me as if shocked why I’m still standing there. I haven’t been rung up and I wasn’t just going to leave. This place has so many good reviews that I am willing to try again… But this did not leave a good taste in my mouth.

Excellent Thai food and very authentic. Best Thai in DFW area by far. Family owned. Yellow curry is awesome, pad woon sin noodles are great and seafood asparagus is outstanding! End your meal with the sweet rice and mango for desert. :-) Highly highly recommended place for authentic Thai.

I have tried several Thai places in/near Keller and this place is the bomb. My wife and I decided to try it on date night a while back. She doesn’t typically like Thai but I love it so she said we can try it out. I Got one of their combos to try out a few things and wasn’t disappointed. My wife enjoyed what she got as well. I had the green curry and she had fried rice. Since then we decided to bring the kiddos. Second time I got drunken noodles and wow this is a fantastic dish. I get level 4 and it is a good burn. I’ve also had the pad Thai and it is good too but I do like the drunken noodles the best so far. Wife has discovered their chow mein and it is very good as well we’ve tried several of the meats in it and the bbq pork is very good. The kids really enjoy the fried rice. Now for the most important part is the service. Family owned and operated and Jam has always taken care of us. Super friendly and very helpful. I love this place. Give it a try

I’ve been here since April/2014. I usually came for dinner and totally love this place, I want to come everyday. The food are home made, fresh, seasonable and the price is acceptable. You can choose the offer Dinner combo with 1 appetizer and 1 soup. The couple owners here are really nice and sweet. Jam(or Cham), one of the owner, she is my favorite every time I came, too :) Sea Siam is close on Sunday and really busy on Dinner time week days, make sure you check for the table before coming or just wait for a minute :)

Sea Siam came highly recommended to me and they’ve been all the rage since they announced that their peanut sauce will now be sold at Central Market. I walked in and was a little disappointed with the atmosphere. It’s dark, a little cramped, with not much going on decoration wise. This is a place you go to for the food, not the experience. The lunch special came with a salad with their peanut sauce, a veggie egg roll, and I requested a vegetarian soup option and was given their hot & sour soup. I ordered the stir fried basil leaves with fried tofu. Side note, their website says to let them know if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, whatever and they’ll take care of you, so bonus points for that. Okay, back to the food. I had high expectations for the peanut sauce but wasn’t blown away. The soup in particular was not very good. Something about it reminded me of the smell of wet dog, but I honestly have never had hot & sour soup before. Without being able to make a fair comparison, I’m not sure if that’s just how it’s supposed to taste. The stir fry was yummy, but the spice level was low. Service was really friendly and they were on top of clearing out dishes and keeping water refilled. Ultimately, I’ve been more impressed with other local Thai places so probably won’t return. I do know there are a ton of local devotees, though, so it’s worth going to get your own opinion.
