My husband, daughter and I were seeking good restaurants in Keller since we just moved to the area. Hoping for a great lunch experience, on the front door in the window on a piece of paper written with sharpie said«NOWHIRINGALLPOSITIONS» we walked into this restaurant looked to our left and saw a pile of broken printer/scanners and some paper, but still hopeful we waited at the front to be seated. Approximately 3 minutes later we were politely greeted and asked booth or table. Booth we decided and followed the hostess/server to the table. As I was about to sit down I looked at the booth and it had a HUGE and I mean HUGE tear in the cushion, stuffing coming out. I then looked up and saw water damage and what looked like possibly mold on the ceiling. My husband put his jacket down so I didn’t have to sit on the tear. Very discouraged at this point, I then look over and read the table advertisement«la cacita offering authentic Mediterranean –coming soon» like what??? Last straw. we left. So much potential but just wasting there money in the wrong things. Wishing y’all the best of luck but I’m sure the kitchen and food would’ve reflected the lack of cleanliness and care that was displayed. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Went here twice in the hopes that the food would be better the second time around. Wrong. The second time I got food poisoning as did my friend. The service was horrible also. Too bad as i will miss the band, Just in Tyme.

Great food! Very family friendly owner, Mike. I had the Burrito. My wife had a delicious Quesadilla. Service was fast. Food was quick and tasty.

Came here on Friday night, and it was the worst experience I have ever had in this area. There was live music, but the singer didn’t know how to sing on key. We had to order drinks 2 separate times, with 2 different people before they were finally brought them to us. They only brought half of the waters we ordered the first time, and the second time they arrived in styrofoam cups. The salsa tasted like ketchup with jalapenos. We waited 45 minutes for our food, before a waiter came and said it would be another 30 minutes. If you don’t have an extra 2 hours to spare, go somewhere else. But the tortilla chips were alright.

This is a great little place to have lunch or dinner. The patio area is a fantastic surprise. It is very spacious and they have live music. I have had fajitas, enchiladas and brisket tacos. The brisket tacos are my favorite. My family dines here at least once a week. It is a great little local spot right off the main strip. Give it a try. Don’t let the interior fool you. The food is made fresh to order and worth the wait.

Went to this restaurant for lunch today. Ordered fajita nachos. They were pretty good. I mean… It’s hard to mess up nachos. I didn’t care much for the hot sauce it was a sauce and not salsa… As in chopped tomatoes, onions, etc. The chips were fresh and pretty good. I would go back to this restaurant if I was right there in the area. I probably would not go out if my way to go there. The young lady who was our server was very friendly, prompt, and did a great job.

We have eaten here multiple times and it is a Jekyll and Hyde situation. On one hand, the food is always amazing(I especially recommend the chipotle fajitas), on the other hand the service is just horrible. We have never been in there at a time where there were more than 4 – 5 other tables sat, and yet we have been left waiting for refills out the check every single time. Amazing food, sub-par service. Would recommend, but with caution.

Hey there food here is comparable to the many other Mexican food places in the close vicinity. They have a pretty sweet patio that is gated off so it’s good for families. The margaritas here are very strong!

Good food. Love the chipotle fajitas. Train shots are a fun idea to take advantage of a little bit of noise. Only real drag was the music on a Saturday night. Solo guitar player with electronic background is a bit underwhelming. Try to get in some real musicians to liven it up.

We thought we would give this place a try in an effort to support local business and non-chains. Big mistake. Terrible food. Service was just ok. Lousy environment. Food was the worst we have ever had at at Tex Mex restaurant.

This review is bitter sweet. I enjoyed my visit, drink and entertainment here. However, I didn’t enjoy the food. It was salty and they messed up my friend’s order. He asked for no guacamole and black beans with his order but it came out with guacamole and refried beans instead of black beans. If we are in the area, we would only visit for some great beer prices and live music.

Beautiful patio! That’s all this place has going for it. It’s a shame the food isn’t good. This place is always empty and when we walked in we should have taken that as a sign. Friendly staff, but the great patio and friendly staff can’t make up for the food. We had enchiladas of various kinds. I’ll speak for what I had. Sour cream. Ugh. The chicken was horrible, the rice tasted off and the beans have got to be canned. Wasted money, will never return.

My girlfriend used to work at La Casita, so given on nights she worked late she would bring me a plate home from work. I was unhappy that she would pay full price for my food, and still they would heat it in the microwave. You can tell when a to go container is heated up because it gets warped from the heat. You would think my food should not be cooked in the microwave at all, but especially when paying 10 dollars for an enchilada plate. My enchiladas were bland and flavorless, but still better then having whataburger every single night because nothing else is open. I don’t believe the food is made fresh, especially after so many warped to go boxes right after her she got home. Management is non existent and the food is made with low quality ingredients and then prepared poorly. Take a stop by to taste it for yourself. When your food is taking too long, it is because of poor management and the cooks in the back goofing off. When your drinks take too long it is because of being understaffed. La Casita will definitely go out of business in a years time.

I was surprised by the reviews here. The food is great, and it has a small cozy atmosphere and a large outdoor patio for large groups. The brisket enchiladas are really good.

HORRIBLE. My husband and I were so excited when we found out Keller was getting a new Mexican restaurant. I am Mexican so I love authentic and I can deal with Tex-Mex as well. It took forever for our food to arrive. We probably had 3 rounds of drinks by them time the food arrived. While I was looking at the menu, I noticed a number of spelling errors. The rice had a very odd flavor and the veggie mix(weird side for Mexican plate) had a potent vinegar smell and taste. I am not sure what the influence was for the dishes but it was NOT Mexican. The tortilla soup was like slop. I can’t believe I wasted my hard earned money here. NEVER will go back unless new management/ownership takes place. I am not even going to go into the drama between one of the rude, strung out waitress and the«restaurant manager» that was spilling his guts about their failing relationship…

Visited their first weekend open and we ended up walking out due to being understaffed. We tried it again last Friday night since it was nice and we sat outside on their patio. Service was better but it took a while to get our food. Drink prices are good, food was ok but the salsa was yummy! If you are planning to go on a Friday night, I suggest getting there early to get a seat because the family and friends of the band take up many tables just sitting there eating chips, salsa and drinking.

Don’t waste your time by going here!!! It’s awful in the worst of ways. My son’s grandparents live in the area and wanted to check it out so we gave it a go. Their huge outdoor«patio» area is the draw. It’s massive and full of brightly colored picnic tables that beckon you to sit on them. When I first walked up, I judged it strictly based on that fact. Until I saw a dirty diaper on their sidewalk clinging to the fence. Gross. This should have been a sign of thing to come. It took about 15 min for anyone to even take our drink order after sitting down. We finally got chips and salsa. Honestly, the chips were the best thing they served all night. Salsa was flavorless and queso tasted like velveeta. There are very few vegetarian and fish options on the menu as well. I decided to go with the Tilapia that was to be grilled and served with sautéed veggies. This dish was $ 15.99. For Tilapia! But nothing else sounded good, and I wanted a healthier option. It took us 45 min to get our food after we ordered! The owner came by to inquire how our night was eventually, and I politely told him that we’d been waiting for quite sometime for our food. He apologized and said that the kitchen was backed up. I found this surprising since it wasn’t even crowded at all. He mentioned that he would«find a way to take care of us on our bill.» As I sat waiting for my food, I noticed on the ground next to me was a bowl of beans, a quesadilla, a fork, and dirty napkin etc. Apparently they didn’t feel it was necessary to pick up trash off the ground. Disgusting. 45 min later, our food finally arrived. My 6 year old son tasted his rice and immediately said, «YUCK». I tasted it and completely agreed. I ordered him a sliced avocado on the side, and laughed at what was on his plate. It was seriously about 3 pieces of avocado. Not slices. My son could have done a better job at cutting an avocado. My $ 16 tilapia finally came out with a strange array of mixed veggies. There were about 2 florets of broccoli, chopped celery and shredded carrots. Seriously? The tortillas were so hard they were indelible. The beans were served in soft serve ice cream cup. Guacamole tasted rancid. Rice was awful. I took about 3 bites off of my plate and didn’t eat the rest in fear of food poisoning. The other members of my party found their food slightly edible and only ate their tacos because their stomachs had been growling for 45 min. Got the bill and quickly noticed that nothing had been«taken care of» like the owner said he would. I politely asked a waiter to speak to the owner about the bill. He apologized for not taking care of it agreed to do so at that moment. Apparently he decided that taking $ 10 off our $ 110 bill would do the trick. I’m surprised this place is still open. It’s a filthy, poorly operated restaurant. I’m sure there are some serious health code violations going on here. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at a bad restaurant, but I guess every dog has their day. YUCK!

Came back, very disappointed. The food is still good but the service is so terrible that it’s just not worth it. Waited 10 min. just to give our drink order and another 10 min. to deliver them. Food that should have taken no more than 10 min. to prepare, took 35 min. They brought adult portions instead of children’s that we ordered. They forgot the guacamole, which was so small and disappointing. Overall I have to say I will never return voluntarily. Skip this place and go to Lupe’s instead!

I really wanted to like this place a lot more. We were driving home from the Flower Mound pumpkin patch and saw the lights from the building from Hwy 377. The outdoor seating is awesome but too cold to sit outside. I thought the inside was clean and nice. Not too much stuff on the walls. The service was fair, a bit slow but very friendly. The food, well… let me start by saying that I ordered the Chicken Flautas, my husband the Tortilla Soup and my two boys had the Cheese Enchiladas and Quesadilla. My flautas were very good. Not many places season the chicken which can leave them very bland but that was not the case here. They were yummy. The Soup was tasty and my kids ate their enchilada and the quesadilla. All that said, now let me get to the beans and rice… awful! The rice was undercooked and mushy. I would never serve that anywhere! The beans had a terrible acidic flavor to them that I worried they were rancid and made sure my boys didn’t touch their beans for fear of them getting sick. The General Manager was very receptive to the feedback, however, when I mentioned to him the beans, he attributed it to garlic. He said the kitchen had warned him that the beans had too much garlic and he might get complaints but they didn’t want to waste them. WOW! First of all, who doesn’t like garlic in Mexican food?! Secondly, taste them so you can respond appropriately. It was not the garlic. I just hope that folks didn’t get sick off the beans. I really wanted to give this place at least 2 stars but if three out of four of us only ate 1⁄3 of our meal because it was inedible, I just can’t do it. Sorry La Casita. I hope your Grand Opening is a success after you tweak your food. I can overlook slow service at a new restaurant but poor food? I don’t think so.
