I went into see Dr. Oser, basically because of the Magazines he was advertised in, that guaranteed a beautiful smile. I needed a front 3-tooth Bridge. He took a perfectly good 4th tooth and added to the bridge. Immediately, I told him the fourth tooth didn’t feel right when I ran my tongue on the back part. It didn’t feel like it was completely sealed like the other teeth. He said it was fine. A couple years later, I was hurting in that area, I went into see him, and he said I needed a root canal on the tooth that wasn’t sealed correctly. He performed a Root Canal. When it was over and the numbness had worn off, I told him, I still hurt there. Guess What? He did the wrong tooth. In other words, he took another good tooth and carved it down, did a root canal, and put a crown on it. Plus, I paid for it. $ 2000) Then a year later, I went back in for the original complaint on the 4th tooth under the bridge was still hurting. Instead of removing my bridge and working on that tooth, he proceeded to remove that tooth while the bridge was still on, and the bridge eventually came off during the procedure. I was in excruciating pain. Summary: I paid $ 5500 for original bridge, but lost a tooth in the process, and paid $ 2000 for a root canal on a tooth that was perfectly fine. BTW, Hugh Oser was embarrassed that he did the wrong tooth, and never, no never offered to refund or credit me for the work he did. Needless to say, I’ve never returned. This is the truth and I should have taken him to small claims court. What really gets me, is that he collected my money and never offered any recourse to make things right. Warning: If you go to a Dentist that has all the bells and whistles of new technology, all the office perks and several dental assistants, that Dentist has a lot of overhead and needs to be working on several people every day in order to pay for things. My last visit, I was under local anesthesia for almost 45 minutes before he finally entered the room to work on me. He doesn’t care about you, it’s all about the money.

Love Dr Oser and his staff. Receptionist greets you by name as you enter. Never kept waiting. Hygienist Jana is wonderful and current on all of the latest dental techniques. Dr Oser is very gentle and soft spoken and an expert at keeping even the most nervous patient calm.
