DONOTEATHERE!!! Pros: free chips… Cons: 2 days puking and diarrhea from the food poisoning, refried beans are straight out of the can, rice is par boiled white so by the time it gets to you it is waaaay overcooked also had prison style succatash mixed in for some reason(carrots, corn, green beans, Lima beans, and potatoes) weird!, had the pork and chorizo tacos very bland BASIC at best. To sum up: without food poisoning this would have been a huge disappointment. Side note to the chef, you should be embarrassed… throw your knives in the trash… food is clearly not your calling in life…

Not a bad place for Mexican food at all. The margaritas are overpriced but I needed one badly. The quesadilla is what you would expect out of a place like this so it wasn’t disappointing but it definitely could be a lot better. Luckily they had an amazing assortment of bottled salsas(with red 40). The chips and salsa they serve is decent, pretty tough chips but not bad salsa. The service was pretty good, can’t complain there.

This place is so much better than Margs. Don’t pass up the Chile Rellano… it’s delicious.

Service was slow, no reason given. We waited an hour before asking for the food to be packed to go. The waitress was nice enough to bring additional chips and salsa while we waited but never checked to see if we needed additional drinks. Overall very disappointed.

Nothing significantly wrong with any of the food here, but needs some improvement. However, to be up front. I’m a tough customer being from California, land of excellent Mexican food. I had the Enchiladas with Mole Sauce. Missing cheese on the inside and outside of the enchilada, which made the unseasoned shredded chicken on the inside very dry. Needed some shredded jack, or queso fresco. The sauce was way to sweet to be a real mole, needs some chilis de arbol, or any kind of smoky dried chili to balance the sweet. The queso fundido dip is delicious, served by itself or over some chicken. The salsa needs some fresh ingredients, it tasted very jarred or canned. An addition of some fresh chopped cilantro and onion would be delicious. It had no heat whatsoever. We were offered handmade guacamole. It tasted exactly like the stuff you buy pre made from the grocery store. Not a fresh avocado for sure. At the $ 4.95 price point, I want a real avocado, and I want a better bowl. It was served in a little tiny white plastic side dish bowl. Served in the same amount, but a nice bowl, and evidence of a real avocado, would be a-ok. Atmosphere was really pleasant, warm, friendly service. Access to the on tap beers from next door were a real plus.

I must say I am quite surprised to see all the terrible reviews for this place! I stopped in here for brunch on the way back from Franconia Notch and thoroughly enjoyed my meal and dining experience. As my phone battery lost its charge shortly before arriving in Keene, I went in completely blind without the help of my trusty Unilocal app. I am glad events unfolded as they did, as I would likely have avoided a 2.5 star restaurant otherwise. Just goes to show that placing your trust in good fortune rather than technology sometimes does pay off! I thoroughly enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros platter I ordered. Eggs were well-cooked, chili salsa was flavorful, rice and beans provided a perfect subdued complement to the heat of the salsa, and the corn tortilla was just the right amount soft yet crispy. I also thought the complementary tortilla chips and salsa were quite good. Service was likewise excellent — my server could not have been any more courteous! Restaurant interior was clean and well decorated, etc. No issues whatsoever with customer service or atmosphere. Really the only(minor) issue which comes to mind about Pedraza’s is that the prices seemed a couple dollars higher than I would have expected. Granted, my meal was quite reasonably priced at $ 7 for a sizable portion, but many of the entrée dishes were around $ 14 – 16 when I would have expected them to be priced closer to $ 10 – 12. That’s a small gripe though — I really have nothing bad to say about this restaurant and would definitely return. All in all, I have only dined here once so can’t say for certain that my experience was the exception rather than the rule. However, I would definitely encourage others to read several reviews before writing this place off. It’s not the best Mexican food this side of the Rio Grande by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely well above average.

The food was good, nothing extraordinary. The service was somewhat slow because the place was packed. I would probably go here again.

Queso made with American cheese?! I get that it’s NH so I shouldn’t expect much but this was one of the more disgusting meals out that I’ve had. I had the fish tacos(bland & soggy) and I don’t even remember what my husband had. The service was horrible– our waitress was much more interested in texting in the corner than paying attention to her tables(I just wrote this in another review of mine; is my age showing because I was never allowed to have my Nokia that had snake on it with me when I was a waitress.). Anyway. I really wanted to like Pedraza’s. I heard so much hype about it that maybe I just got too enthused about the food. I wish I had just stayed home and made tex-mex instead, it would have saved me money and would have been better.

Worst so called Mexican restaurant around. Food is amazingly bad and staff is rude. Salsa is crap. Tried it 3 times to be fair and every time was bad I Won’t go back. I am surprised that some reviews are positive.

Stopped off in Keene for lunch with our kids. We sat outside and enjoyed fantastic, fresh fish tacos along with delicious rice and beans. Great service, very clean.

Tasty. Friendly. Average. Chip haters from past reviews are over-dramatizing. As a chip-o-holic myself these are middle of the road chips but undoubtedly still far better than the salty, vein-tightening, heart attack inducing salt creations from Margaritas down the road. Mole enchiladas are solid. Margarita selection limited, but strong. Guacamole a decent adventure, but nothing to fly home about. Location is great, right off the downtown Keene Circle for people-watching, however plastic patio chairs detract from an otherwise local and authentic alternative to the chain-run experience of #theothemexicanplaceyougetmargaritas. In short, decent but upside far greater upside given a greater focus on what makes local, local.

I love Mexican food but this place was seriously disappointing. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce. The taco salad I ordered had small, rubbery pieces of chicken and shredded lettuce. No other vegetables. I could have ordered a better looking salad from Taco Bell. If you’re in the area, stick with Margaritas and steer clear of this place.

Best fish tacos in town. Yup. Get the fried ones, you won’t regret it. OK margaritas, nothing special… Service is variable, lighting always WAY too bright. My favorite is to sit in the adjoining bar(The Pour House) which has an old school divey vibe, good happy hour specials and a great beer selection.

Oh my God, this place serves disgusting food. I forget what we ordered, but it all looked and tasted like dog food. Of the 5 Mexican restaurants currently in Keene, including Taco Bell, this one is easily the worst.

Great, authentic Mexican experience. Food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive. Tasty margaritas, simple but well-designed fish tacos with a chipotle sauce that was flavorful but not overwhelming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It ok place but the food there r waayy too expensive plus all I eat is their beef nachos appetizers cuzz it less pricey. But ordering a hand held burritos, nope not gonna happen. They jus drench burritos with sauce. That just my opinion tho.

My review is based solely off having gone for drinks and chips & salsa. We did not eat an entrée here. Not much to say, the chips were bleh and some were soggy and wet or stale tasting. Gross! The salsa wasn’t half bad but with not-so-good chips, we weren’t eating either. The restaurant is joined with the bar next door, Pour House, and has access to their bar/beer selection. All of our beers were just $ 4. Our server, while a very nice girl, didn’t know what was on tap at all and had no idea about beers — IPA vs. Pale Ale, etc. — so asked us to get up and read the chalk board in the back of the restaurant ourselves. Just odd. Ordered two beers — mine came out but twice my fiancé ordered beers that weren’t on tap anymore. Finally he just said to bring out anything… when she did, she didn’t know what beer she poured. Oh man! :( She was friendly and admitted she’s young and doesn’t know much about beer. Valid, but c’mon…the chips and brews(served warm in warm glasses) were absolutely nothing to rave about.

Three stars because I like the salsa and they have Negro Modelo. Minus two because that«burrito» was an enchilada, and the ground beef I ordered sure looked and tasted like chicken. Here’s a tip: listen when taking orders. Oh, and put some spice in your tacos, they taste like paper! Otherwise, good taste, comfortable atmosphere.
