Fantastic mom and pop feeling diner. Could be hard to get a table because it’s small but food was fantastic and service was great. Top notch.

My friend’s sausage links looked like feces of the canine sort, specifically Welsh Corgi. My bacon tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. Other than that we were satisfied. Really friendly people, good service!

we moved to the area 8 years ago. my family & I ate there only once — b/c WEALLGOTSICKFROMTHEFOOD. took one bite of rice pudding and new it was rancid. told the waitress and she still tried to charge us for it!!! do your self a favor — walk over to main St and visit Timuleon’s. have been there over 100 times in last 8 yrs and never disappointed. Kiki, Mike, Theresa and the entire staff there are awesome. best prices in the area.

I’ve only been here once, since I live 2 ½ hours away, and it was for the Keene pumpkin festival last year. My boyfriend and I stopped in for food while walking around the fest, and ordered some burgers. For such a small diner during such a big festival, they blew us away. Burgers were great, our server was beyond friendly(we left a tip about the same amount as our bill!) Didn’t know it was cash only, but thankfully that’s what I was carrying for the fest. I’d totally go again if it wasn’t so far.

Went in on a busy Sunday morning. It certainly has the old diner vibe, with local ads on the mugs, old seats and the counter bar. Ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes and a one egg special with bacon. The blueberry pancakes were solid with real blueberries, but was sad that real maple syrup was $ 2 extra for a small container. The eggs were cold as well as the potatoes. The bacon had the consistency of microwave bacon.

Didnt even get a chance to eat here after being totally ignored. It was a Sunday morning so obviously they were busy and itd take a while to be seated but three employees walked by us without even a hello and then another emloyee pushed us out of the way to get to the counter. Wont bother going back after how rude everyone was

Lindy’s Diner is fine, not great. The food is alright, the scrambled eggs and omelettes are pretty fluffy. On the other hand the bacon is always soggy and the home fries are really small and bland. The food comes out fairly quick but the service has been pretty bad every time I’ve been there. My glass was empty for a long while and the waitress touched some of our food with her bare hands. I wouldn’t say not to go here but I don’t think I’ll come here again.

The food is soooooo basic it hurts. They don’t have anything that jumps out as special. It needs an owner chef who wants to do something SPECIAL with everyday food.

I went here with my boyfriend for dinner. There was no one else in the restaurant. The waitress came to take our order, then went to go chat it up with the cook or get on the phone or something. She was having a ball doing whatever, bs-ing around and laughing hysterically, I certainly remember that. So a HALFHOUR went by… that is not an exaggeration. «Where’s our order?» we asked her… …SHEHADNOTEVENPUTOURORDERIN. Frantically apologizing, she then finally puts the order in and they cook our food speedily. I don’t remember what the food was like. It was probably average. Of course, we didn’t tip her a penny, and the restaurant as a whole most definitely only deserves one star from me for this atrocious experience.

Solid, unremarkable diner food. Omelette was chock full though not fluffy at all. The scant few potatoes they threw on the plate seemed like an afterthought. Prices reasonable.

We stopped in here for breakfast after spending the night in Keene, NH. I ordered a custom omelette: Pepperjack cheese, Chorizo, onions, bell peppers, spinach, and mushrooms — with a side of bacon, coffee, and water. Omelette was rather average, not bad. And it was filling. I asked for hot sauce — they have squeeze bottles on the table filled with what I think is Frank’s hot sauce. Would have been nice to have an option for a much hotter hot sauce! Bacon was tasty! Coffee was rather meh. Service was good. Your traditional old school diner. The booths still have those small individual jukeboxes — I asked our server Sam if they still worked. She replied that some did, some did not. Be aware — cash only! No credit cards! I’d eat here again when staying in Keene.

HORRIBLE. My girlfriend and I decided to try some place new for breakfast after having been to the Pub(which is also in Keene) a few times, what a mistake that was. We will MOSTCERTAINLY be going back to the Pub. The service was fine, but a few things that we noticed were that when the waitress was getting my donut, she didn’t use gloves, or a wax paper, or anything. Gross. She also didn’t use anything on her hands when she was putting another customers english muffin in the toaster. Not to mention that the home-made donut was disgusting. Very tough, not even warmed up, and tasted like stale dough. We were even more disappointed when our breakfast came. My girlfriend ordered a breakfast burrito that came with home fries, and also a side of hash. I ordered a short stack of pancakes and a side of bacon. Literally everything we put in our mouths was terrible. The breakfast burrito was OK, honestly she said she had had better ones at chain hotels. The hash tasted like powder, and the home fries were over cooked, roughly cut up potato with a little seasoning on it. The bacon was fatty and literally the worst bacon I have had in my life. The pancakes were awful as well, I only had a few bites and could not eat any more. Although the diner atmosphere was quirky and definitely old school, nothing looked clean or professional. There are SO many better places to go for a good, quality, clean breakfast in Keene, this should be your last resort. Extremely disappointed.

Where do I start, The place is dirty, I saw them drop the towel the they use to clean and dry their hands on the dirty floor only to reuse it. I would love to see what their state rating is as it was not displayed in plain view. The waitresses that handle dirty money also help in your food prep without the use of plastic food gloves or washing their hands. the ppl were very unfriendly especially the old lady that looks like she is 100 years old! The bathroom was gross and stunk. There was 2 pieces of toilet paper on the floor with human feces on it from wiping :(. The food was OK I mean you really can’t screw up eggs, pancakes were not that great. I was literally too grossed out to eat my food… I was really disappointed because I love old diners and was really looking forward to some good diner style food. But, I just could not get past all the negatives. Stay clear of this place unless u like dirty, unfriendly ppl and sub-par food. Gorden Ramsay would have a field day here. I’m going to be placing a call to the food and health inspectors…

Picture in your head what a typical diner would look like and you have Lindys! Small, homey and tasty non healthy type food. We had the apple cinnamon buttermilk pancakes with real maple syrup($ 2 extra for a small cup if the real stuff). I also had a pulled pork sandwich. The bun was warm and crispy which added a special touch. Great coffee which was quickly refilled when it started to deplete. Lots of locals dine here with«hey Phil; want the regular, John?»)

Cash Only diner in downtown Keene, NH. We sat at the counter and we got served by a «not very happy», «not very pleasant» waitress… This old lady seemed like everything bothered her… When one of my friends tried to make conversation and be friendly… she just answered in one or two short words. Service sucks… food is ok… nothing to write home about… Don’t know why is so busy… I guess people there like to be abused…

Since our first visit here in May 2013, we’ve been back at least two dozen times, mostly for breakfast. We still give it three stars though over the last 16 months the food and service has ranged from one star to four stars, depending on the quality of the food and the service. Lately, both have been fine. We suspect there’s recently been a change in the kitchen: someone has figured our what«over easy» means and the potatoes are crispy. Further, if you get the right waitress who pays attention to your order, everything flows smoothly. in other words, it can be a bit of an up and down experience here, somewhat typical of diners. Lindy’s remains a Keene institution, and it’s hanging in there these days, we think.

Not a small child friendly atmosphere. A waitress actually told me, and other patrons they don’t like children. And they mean it. Zero patience for children. Due to that statement, I refuse to go there. My family and close friends have also stopped going. Their food isn’t that great, I’ve had to ask them to heat my food several times. I can go on. But, I digress. If you want a great breakfast at a very good price, I HIGHLY recommend The Pub!
