I would have to give a +1 to their vinyl section. It’s not a large display, but, my best guess is somewhere around 500 – 700 albums. Scott(the owner) posted a note about running each album through a VPI record washer, and then placing the album in a new plastic sleeve, and then the album cover into a new plastic sleeve. And the pricing is very fair, $ 5 – 8, with a few lower and a few higher in price. Lots of rock, 80’s as well as other genres. Add to that, he also notes he fields requests if you can’t find what you’re looking for. If you’re a collector, or someone who’s just getting back into vinyl, it’s absolutely worth a visit!

This place is a lot of fun to browse through for antique enthusiasts and the casually interested alike. There is a wide selection and unlike some antique stores, there is a lot of space and nice natural light. It is set up so that individual vendors rent out sectioned off booths. I like this because it bring a lot of variety to the shop. It does however present one problem for me which is consistency of pricing. One of my favorite things about this store is their collection of Vinyl. The records they sell here are AWESOME. The selection is not great, but the quality is unbeatable. I was there the other day and purchased some decades old records that look like they have never been played. This place is an awesome place to browse, check it out next time you are at the Colony Mill.
