My partner and I just adopted an adorable puppy from an NYC shelter. Despite our best efforts, our worst nightmare became a reailty when our 5-​month-​old pooch, Lincoln, decided he wanted to take a pee while he was on the sofa. This was a brand new, very expensive, piece of furniture from Italy. Lincoln is normally not allowed on the sofa but he started playing on it the moment I turned my back to wash some dishes. I was devastated. I tried all of the tricks online — soak with water, warm water, distilled water, dish-​washing soap, vinegar, and I even bought a number of very expensive urine cleaners from the pet store. Nothing worked. I called at least 10 upholstery cleaners in the area and all of them didn’t even want to attempt to clean it after talking to me on the phone and said that urine stain removal is nearly impossible — especially after a few days. I was at my wits end, and mentally prepared myself to say goodbye to my brand new couch.
Then, I called Ricardo at Quality Cleaning. He was honest — and said the job wouldn’t be easy but agreed to come take a look. Less than 24 hours later, he was at my door with his steam cleaner. He worked a MIRACLE that day. The stain was completely gone and unrecognizable. He cleaned the entire couch in a matter of an hour. He was kind, courteous, on-​time, professional, and most importantly he was successful. I was so happy, I literally almost gave him a hug. Lincoln is happy too — because we forgave him and he’s no longer in the doghouse. :-)
