Because Calvary Chapel of Kearny is a small church, its brings the members together like a family. I love it! They are there for you when you need help, prayer, discipleship, etc.
There are also many ministries to be part of such as Men’s Ministry, Woman’s Ministry, Jesus’ Kidz, Youth Ministry, Couple Ministry, Spanish Ministry, and much more which is great becasue there are not many churches around Kearny or Jersey city that have a lot of ministries to join.
The Church beliefs and teaches to know Christ and be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. To focus on a «personal relationship» with God through worship and prayer, and the teaching of the Word of God. The teachings both expository and topical studies.
I have been going here for 8 years now and I love this church!

Small, intimate church, friendly, welcoming people. Unfortunately had to go here for a friends mothers funeral.
