My husband called there to get a price for my car and was told $ 400 by the lady he spoke with. When he called about a week later to schedule the pick-up, he was told by a different lady that it would only be $ 250. When he told her that the price he was given the previous week was $ 400 she essentially called him a liar by saying«no one here would have told you that». Maybe the girl he spoke to previously was mistaken but, please, calling your customer or potential customer a liar? — my husband is honestly not that kind of person. Will never do business with them again nor would I ever recommend anyone to either without getting everything in writing. And you know what the worst part is? He knew about this company from past experience and was really glad it was going to be so easy to get the car taken car of. I have worked in and around customer service as has my husband for years and years. I would never allude to a customer as being a liar because MOST times they were told bad information by someone else. The right thing to do would have been to politely tell my husband that evidently the wrong information was given to him and that ‘x” amount was the best they can do. Maybe even say sorry for the misunderstanding. I realize that the price was not in writing, I’m not saying that at this point we demanded or expected to get the $ 400 without having something in writing. But, when the person(who didn’t talk to you previously) is telling you that you are making up a number, it is really disrespectful. Also, he did feel that $ 250 was a low-ball number so call around.
