PROS — Clean, cheap, ample parking, felt very safe, soft yet supportive mattress(the queen felt bigger than most queen motel beds to me), updated room and bathroom, decent in-room coffee, excellent heating and cooling system that worked similarly to the thermostat and central HVAC you would have at home, tons of super hot water, nice tub and shower, and a reasonably friendly check-in. CONS — Small room, no mini fridge, curtains didn’t shut out enough of the bright lights from businesses nearby, and paper thin walls meant very clearly hearing other guests talk, move around, sneak their pet in, have relations, and so on. All in all, a great stay. The noisiness ended promptly around 11 pm which was appropriate and made things less annoying with the paper thin walls. We were on the second floor.

Good little place for the price. Late night stop on a cold night and the room was nice and warm. Friendly staff, clean(small) room. Free continental breakfast. Again nice for the price to lay our heads on a long roadtrip.

A little confusing to get into the parking lot since you have to go through a gas status n parking lot. The beds are super soft and comfortable though. Water pressure is amazing. Instant coffee is available in the rooms. Woman at the front desk was very sweet considering we showed up at 2:45 in the morning. She explained any possible charges that could be added to my cars and where the ice and soda machines are. Slept like a rock. At $ 60 for the night, it’s quite nicer than you would expect. The room was practically spotless, which almost never happens in a cheap motel!

I am not really an active reviewer here, but this place deserves a 5 star rating. I stayed here last week when I was omw to the New Jersey from California. Donna, the front desk associate was very helpful and friendly. Check in/out process was really fast and easy, rooms were comparable to an upscale hotel and overall service was fantastic. It has pretty decent breakfast in the morning as well. They for sure deserve all the awards they have gotten. It definitely provides the most bang for you buck. I wish all other hotels/motels of the same segment provide the same level of amenities and services.

I have a closet that can rival the room I had, cramped and musty. The convenience store had loud and shady people hanging out there at on the motel property. Not a place for a family to stay for sure. I saw awards hanging in the lobby I guess they won by default because this was a terrible motel.

I am a Fan!!! The price was very low. The accommodations were clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and very kind. I cannot say enough about my positive experience. We were traveling back to Chicago on a cold winter’s day, when we stopped for gas, afterward, the car would not start. We called Roadside assistance, but they were unable to fix the problem until the following day. Luckily Econolodge was nearby, Steven the desk clerk gave us a «breakdown» rate, helped us find a repair shop, and did everything he could to put our mind at ease and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are super clean. The WiFi is free, there is a small vending and laundry area downstairs, and we had a microwave and small refrigerator in the room as well. In the morning we had a simple breakfast: coffee, tea, juice, hard boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, toast, with milk and cereal are available too. Overall, for the price, I could not have asked for a better place to have landed in an emergency situation. Later that day we left with a repaired car and a renewed spirit. There are still places that care about people and take pride in their service.
