Do as the locals do! The only okazuya in Kona right now… Go early because they sell out of the good stuff fast. The plantation ice tea with jelly is such a refreshing treat. Create your own lunch box concept has taken off. I had a cone sushi, Korean chicken and namasu— YUM! I’m actually glad I failed my attempt to resist fried rice because it’s verrrrrry good. The owners serve with Aloha.

This is an amazing place we discovered by accident as we were coming up to Kona. The food is AMAZING! My friend and I had the roast pork, fried chicken wings, spam nori and mushroom chicken. Everything was so delicious. We went to a few other restaurants but the last day we decided to drive down just to get more of their mouth watering food. Their take is traditional hawaiian/japanese dishes with a twist. Our next trip we had the corn beef hash, coconut shrimp and cha su. It was so much better then the restaurant food we had and it came from a truck!
