This review is for a update on current services rendered. I was very pleased with the initial service I received from Keith on my desktop. So much so that I returned to have him to install a graphics card as well as a supportingp power supply unit. I purchase the power supply and graphics card from Best Buy the night before I make contact with Keith to inquire about a possible install. Keith informed me on the phone that he was more than capable of installing these components and to bring them by, which I did within a few hours of contacting him by phone. I received a phone call from him later that afternoon in which he stated that the computer would not power on after the install and that if he could not mitigate the problems that he will not charge me for services rendered in which I was very appreciative for his integrity. As we both could not figure out the problem(I am computer illiterate) he suggested that the possible issue could be the power supply and that Best Buy could possibly exchange it for a new one for it may be faulty and not admitting little/no power. I agreed and took the computer straight to Best Buy where are they quickly took the computer apart and noticed that Keith connected wires improperly causing my motherboard and CPU to short out and fry rendering it useless. The manager in for me and showed me where the wires were supposed to be connected and where placed in properly causing a fried out CPU and motherboard which can be very expensive to replace if you don’t know as I didn’t. Best Buy did not charge me for the investigative checks as he said in 20 years he has never seen anyone do something like this. He also stated that the power supply was the incorrect unit and that whoever installed the component should have immediately recognized it.(Again I am computer illiterate which is why I saught expertise). I quickly called Keith and notified him of my current situation in which he replied that he was sorry and that it was a mistake. No offering for reconciliation or contingencies to replace the mistake, just apolegetic. I I’m not going to take away from my initial review and say that Keith is operating Bad business, just simply stating how I am out of a brand new computer now. Take this purely as a precaution advisory before you have any internal or extensive work done and are opting to bringing your equipment here or any place like it. The part that sucks worse to me in this situation is not that I lost my computer, it’s the information I had on my computer I had sentimental related details from my 3 deployments to Iraq as well as law enforcement memories and now I have to figure out how to get all of it back.
