You have to realize that this is a small town. Sure we don’t have the selection or variety as the big names supermarket, but I tell you what the owner knows everyone by name and he donates tons of goods and svc to support the Athletics as well as adult softball tournaments. This is much more than a store to us, it is a social spot where we have been gathering to talk story for years. The one thing that the big supermarkets don’t have that Misaki’s do is the Aloha and the relationship we have with the owner and the customer.

I like KB’s review. Out of the choices, neither Misaki’s nor Friendly Market are shining stars in the grocery world but, again, it is a small island and everything is really relaxed. We opted to buy a couple things from here. Generally, they seemed cheaper for the packaged items and they had a better selection. If you are in the area and stocking up on some items, check this place out!

The main positive thing I can say about this place is that it is open on Sunday(til noon) whereas other food stores are closed. Other than that, the place is small(cramped), has a very poor selection of produce and the quality is way below average, the meat selection is very limited, there is no fresh fish, and prices in general are extraordinarily high.
