Studio 21 at Sola Salon Studios

I was new to the Katy area last year and I was nervous to find a new salon. I decided to give Dana at Studio 21 a try after reading numerous reviews of different places here on Unilocal.I’m SO glad I found her. She is amazing and very talented at what she does. I have been going to her for a year now for highlights, haircuts, and keratin treatments. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my hair.

I was a first time client of Dana’s and waited nearly a month and a half for my appointment. I went in for a partial highlight and haircut. I began by showing her a picture as an example for the color I wanted. The highlights that she did came out nice but they weren’t what I wanted or like the picture I had showed her. My haircut turned out fine, nothing special in my opinion. What really surprised me was the cost! The partial highlight and trim cost me $ 205 plus tip! She didn’t bother breaking down the cost either, just said «This is what you owe I take cash and credit.» I could have justified the cost if it had been an amazing experience but I left feeling disappointed and like I had overpaid. I can barely tell I have color in my hair at all. This salon shouldn’t be listed as $$, it’s more like $$$$ and certainly not five stars.

All I can say is FINALLY! After years and years of searching for someone to understand my needs of my hair and actually listen to me, I found Dana! She is truly amazing! Everytime I go in I still get into shock to how great my hair looks! I am never disappointed! Her space is great and cozy and she is not only amazing at what she does, she is such a great person.

Dana is fantastic! She always does a great job on my hair. I would highly recommend her to everyone. She has been doing my hair for five years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Dana and Olga are amazing! Truly talented ! The highest quality in color and years of experience. I just love them. You won’t be disappointed!
