I was really disappointed that the hours they have on both Unilocal and displayed outside their store are arbitrary. I wanted to run in and grab an item for a present. It was 7:40pm and the doors were already locked. They say they’re open until 8pm but I guess not. I’m from a family who runs their own small business and I understand closing a 5 minutes or so earlier but not 20 minutes. You really need to stick to your hours because people rely on that.

What a cool store. Love all the specialty candies and old school stuff you don’t see any more. Soda varieties you could never imagine. Bring the kids by and see their eyes light up!

This is definitely a neat place; they have a wide variety of treats and trinkets sure to please the pickiest of consumers. However, I found that their prices were pretty high; for example, the various Asian treats can be found elsewhere(if not a far drive) for much cheaper. The service was pretty good, too

I LOVETHISPLACE! Candy & fizz what else can you say? They have a wide selection of beverages. From the typical coca cola to root beer to blue raspberry to marshmallow to buffalo wings to pimple pop… yummers. If you bought a drink and wanted to drink one. they even have a bottle opener near the cashier for you! that’s whassup! They also have all sorts of candies! It’s a cute store.

No question: great place to go after lunch or dinner, with or without kids! Very nice selection of international candies, along with candies from across the US. But for me, the biggest attraction is their huge selection of taffy and sodas(or pop!) from across the US. For you New Englanders… they have Moxie!!! Overall a fun place to go.

I returned to Rocket Fizz in Cinco Ranch area(Katy). The manager/owner contacted me after I left a negative review and low star rating due to unsatisfactory customer service and politeness. Im glad to say the owner was very apologetic and invited me back to the store. Hopefully the staff have been retrained and bad employees let go. I love rocket fizz and I hope this location does well. The owner wants everyone to enjoy their visit and if you’re looking for a drink recommendation, ask the employees or ask Damon if he’s around(the manager). He has a vast knowledge of the history of the drink makers and the different flavors they carry. Go and have fun!(Don’t get the cat piddle-not tasty). It’s supposed to be pineapple and something else. :-/

This place is super neat. Lots of retro candies, a huge selection of all kind of soda, snarky tin signs and concert poster reprints. There are also some off-color sodas, like Kim Jong Il’s Nuclear Orange Bomb soda, and Fidel Castro’s Havana Banana soda, but it’s all in good fun. The prices are a bit high, but I chalk that up to location. Now, I love root beer and this place has a HUGE selection from all across the country, with a fair amount coming from some of your favorite beer breweries! I left with a $ 10 six pack, which isn’t bad considering individually they’re over $ 2 a bottle. It encourages you to stock up and save a couple bucks. What I haven’t yet tried yet were the Rocket Fizz private label sodas, some a tad off center(Green Apple Jalapeño, Gram’s Cracker) others more normal(Cherry, Lemon Lime). And, if you’re into that kind of thing you can also find Ranch Dressing soda, Coffee soda, and PB&J. Overall, this is a neat –albeit a tad expensive — place with a great candy, soda, signs, and posters. I’ll be back. And you should go, too.
