Pizza Fino

I do believe these guys have my favorite pizza crust. We ordered a few pizzas, a sandwich as well as the appetizer sampler… all around delish!

The pizza is awesome! Have recommended to friends and family. If you’re tired of the regular (papa j, p-​hut etc) try them out… might be your new favorite.

We weren’t sure what to expect from this place with all the back and forth reviews, but glad that we checked them out. My husband went and picked up Togo for us. We had cheesy bread and two large gyros. Cheesy bread was AWESOME! Loved it. Now the gyros: you have to remember that you’re getting it from a pizza place so my expectations were not too high. It’s not real pita bread, simply pizza dough folded. The gyro meat was your typical fast-​food gyro meat, but the tzatziki sauce was really yummy. The veggies on them were soggy; the lettuce quality wasn’t good. But these gyros were from what I expected from a pizza place, so bravo to them for the gyros being decent. But the cheesy bread: so good!

Service has always been great. Cashiers very friendly and attentive. I like everything here honestly. Depends what I feel like. For appetizers I love the stuffed jalapeños, mozzarella sticks and pizza rolls, which you can stuff with a topping. For entrée I either get pizza with garlic butter crust and extra sauce (I get different toppings but the garlic butter crust is a must have). I also love the ravioli and the sandwiches. Never had anything bad from here. Everything I try is great!

It was good pizza and wings with reasonable prices. My first experience but defiantly come back again.

Have ordered from Pizza Fino twice. Delivery is fast. However, some listening skills on part of the owner would be amazing. Both times I ordered from here, I tried to tell them what apartment complex I was in, as well as the gate code to get through. The owner constantly interrupted me, and then said, «yes, sir… I know your gate code and exactly what complex you’re in.» I asked him if he was sure. He assured me that he did. Guess what… the driver shows up down the street in the wrong complex, calling me and asking me what my gate code is. I ask him what complex he’s in, he can’t answer because he doesn’t speak good English. He’s not in my complex. Even though I was very clear what apartment complex I am in, as well as the gate code to get in.
The pizza is good. But I will not be ordering from here again if I am told «I know exactly where you are» am hung up on by the driver and they can’t listen to or understand very simple instruction.

We walked in and ordered to go: two large gyros and a medium chicken wings. Customer service… non existent… the attitude was just give me your money.
We waited over 25 minutes in the small, dirty four chair room for our order.
At home we found that the food was bland, no flavor and the gyros had nothing but big bread and soggy salad with no meat.
The chicken wings were greasy and plain.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Please see the pics and I hope to save you time and money with this post.

I chose this place since it had practically the same menu as Italian pizza and sub place I used to order from but moved.
You may choose from a variety of salads, wings, appetizer, pizza, subs, pastas. Everything is of ample amount, always piping hot!!! And yummy. Prices and delivery times are reasonable. Service has been consistent for me and they have yet to get my order wrong.
I like that the pizza is loaded with meats and cheeses however Grease does not roll down your elbow because of it.
I recently ate at another pizza restaurant which disappointed me compared with pizza Fino.

I’ve ordered from Pizza Fino a few times. The delivery is really fast and the delivery guys a always very nice. I always order online and my orders have came out accurate every time. Sometimes I would request extra sauce or crushed pepper and I’ve always gotten whatever I’ve requested. Their pizza is not the best I’ve tasted but pretty decent. I will keep ordering from them.

Pizza is great! Service on the other hand… Don’t get pickup. They forget what you ordered and the. Mess it up, causing you to wait longer. You sit around for 30 minutes when wait time was stated to be 15 minutes. Very unorganized!

The best pizza in Katy! The pizza dough is perfecto! Great service and the delivery man was so sweet. I’m a forever customer.

Tried Pizza Fino for the first time tonight. Ordered online via Unilocal.Easy peasey. Salads were fresh. They came with a large piece of delicious garlic bread. The thin crust pizza was just right! Nice topping selection. Very nice and helpful on the phone (I called to make sure they had my order as I have never used the order online feature). Delivery driver was also very pleasant. Will definitely order from them again.

Favorite carry-​out/​delivery pizza in Katy! We have ordered from here several times and the food and service have always been great. Love the gourmet pizzas — especially the buffalo chicken.

We live in Cross Creek and have had a heck of a time finding consistent and delicious pizza delivery. We have ordered from Pizza Fino 4 times now and they have showed up when they said they would (or earlier) and the pizza has always been tasty. Pizza Fino is our go-​to for pizza night :)

We just ordered a large then crust vegetarian pizza. Here’s our take on it:
Appearance of the pizza=appetizing
Toppings=fresh
Sauce=BLAND
Crust=Okay but not as crispy as we prefer
Overall taste of the pizza=Not good at all. Tasted like – well – it actually had no taste. We had to season it well. If there was such a thing as watered down pizza, this would be it.
Also, this it a carry out restaurant only. They only have one table.

Looking for a decent pizza joint that delivers in Cinco Ranch. Got an advert for this place on our door. I ordered a basic pepperoni/​sausage and the sausage was gross. Garlic bread was really good and the spaghetti was OK. got it for my son but I tasted it — it was really oily the meatballs were pre-​bought not homemade. Oh and they sent ONE plastic fork for the order… for $ 28 it was over priced.

Please save yourself some money and time by going to papa johns. I called to make a delivery order and it was confirmed through my email as well. Waited for an hour and a half then decided to call to check up in my order. Must’ve have been the owner that picked up because he blamed it on the computer system for my delay in ordering! 1) if you’re a franchise as you claim you are, you would not blame it on a computer system for the mistake. 2) at least make an effort to fix it. Owner calls me back telling me that they were closing in 20 min so I had to come pick it up if I still want the order when in fact they screwed up and wasted my time WAITING!

I disagree with the previous post regarding the sauce. To me it was a fresh red sauce, not the typical fast food pizza sauce which so many people are accustomed to these days. I wasn’t expecting a great pizza from this place, but the pizza was above average compared to alot of places. I always bring any pizza home and put it in the oven for another 5 or 10 mins, even if its delivered, it just give you a crispier crust. I forget the size I ordered, it was either med or large, but it was only $ 5.99 for a pepperoni.

They kind of started off on the wrong foot with me because I had a groupon for them, and it was carry out only to start. Compound that fact with them not informing the purchaser that the combo deals that they have on their website does not apply for groupon purchases. You have to buy each item at regular menu price… yet those deals are on your menu as a regular deal, but that is splitting hairs. Speaking of splitting, they did not allow me to split my 35 piece wing order into a ²⁵⁄₁₀ flavor mixture. They said that you have to split wing orders right down the middle… not truly understanding that logic… but whatever. Not a great start, but my order is placed, and I am ready to pick up my order. Just FYI, there is an e-​club to join on their website that will give you a free order of bread sticks, so if you plan on going, sign up a day or so before to ensure they e-​mail you that deal. The coupon is only good for 10 days from the date of e-​mailing, so make sure you are going before you sign up.
Very small place located next to HEB. There are 2 small, metal tables, in a truly small waiting area. This is truly a carry out place! I guess I have to let the carry out only gripe alone then! The menu is quite extensive, and their are lunch specials and family packs that are really well priced… yet, if you have a groupon, you are not eligible to participate in those specials… I am not bitter about that at all. They have party trays and do cater, just in case you are interested in them.
On to the food itself. I had 1 large pepperoni and 1 large Italian Sausage pizza. I also ordered 35 hot wings… not a mixture of lemon pepper because of some inane rule… but I am not bitter. I wanted to truly like this place, but I found myself, saying to myself, that the food is edible. That is not really good when you are talking about food… I liken that to calling water wet! Well, the pizza, which was not enjoyed by half of my kids, does not have any pop or pizzazz in the sauce. The crust has an interesting texture and firmness to it, the cheese is passable, but the sauce just disappoints to the fullest on the pizza. Unfortunately, the wings kind of follows suit with the pizza. The hot wings are just hot… no flavor to them. Some of the wings were fried really hard, so the batch had an inconsistent texture to it.
All in all, this place is just edible. Not the worst that I have had, but no where near the best. I love playing food Russian roulette, so I just strike the discovery as a lesson learned. They will not see my business again for a long time I am sure!
