Ok, I am going to jump out there and rate this place on a one time visit because it left that much of an impression on me so here goes. I loved this place. Very friendly and much, much more reasonably priced than other salons in the area. The super deluxe spa pedicure was wonderful and came with several luxuries including lavender essential oil bath, essential oil moisturizer, callous removal, scrub, hot stone, paraffin, towel wrap and topped off with a 15 minute shoulder massage which was very good! That day I had a regular mani so I don’t have judgment regarding their shellac. Also, I only go to JT at Katy Mills Mall for my eyebrows threaded so I would not know if their hair removal services where good. My daughter had the child’s mani with design and they were very gracious and kind to us both.

I have been to some pretty bad nail salons, but this place takes the cake. They were horrific. First things first, my pedicure was okay. Kind of awkward as the lady had some physical limitations, but I don’t believe in not hiring people based on that. I just wish she didn’t have to paint my toenails three times and I felt bad that she was struggling. Anywho, I came here with my maid of honor the day before my wedding. I showed the man who was going to do my nails a picture I found online with simple clear rhinestones in a line like fashion. He assured me he had them and we went in. He drimel end my nails so deep that even though I have extremely fast growing nails, it is almost two months later and they have just now made it halfway up my thumb. Then to make things even better, when I told them I needed them shorter, he told me «no.» And then babbled something in a different language, they laughed, and he told me «Men don’t like women with short nails.» Well, thanks ***hole. Again, day before my wedding. Also, He put an ugly shade of pink rhinestones on my nails that fell off within an hour. Complete waste of money and time. As they were working on my maid of honor, they started making fun of her oddly shaped nails. This place is an insult to the nail technician community. Hopefully it shuts down sooner than later. Also, if you don’t have cash on you(luckily I did), be prepared to not tip them or pay a $ 5 fee on the«convenient» ATM that is placed behind the actual register. Funny how they have such crap service, then guilt you into tipping them.

Horrible customer service! I went for the first time to get an eyebrow wax this weekend. When I walked in I was told there was no wait time and I was immediately taken to the side room. The lady started doing my eyebrows then another employee busted into the room and started yelling and telling her that she was supposed to have taken someone else in before me. Instead of finishing up with me since I was already layed out on the table and she had already started, they asked me to get up and wait outside so they could work on the other customer first. This is not how you conduct a business! It was definitely not my fault that they brought me back first and I had no idea there was someone waiting before me. If I wouldn’t have been in a rush I would have left because it was so rude and uncomfortable. Because of the way they handled this situation I will never return.

I’m not sure where Tina went but I’ve been there on several occasions and the people are always extremely friendly and outgoing. Very anxious to please I really enjoy the fact that the manicure includes a neck rub and face massage. You can’t beat that for the price. The fact that you can’t put the tip on a credit card is not too inconvenient for anybody that carries a couple of dollars in there wallet. I think what I like the most is it’s not brain surgery they are there to please, all you have to do is tell them what you want. I also get massages their ask for Linda she’s fantastic. Plan on returning often.

I have never taken the time to write a review in my life. I have had hundreds of pedicures over the years and this is by far the worst one I have ever received. The gentleman who did my nails seems to have no experience whatsoever. My nails were always short and he cut them even shorter, he didn’t scrub my feet at all and he made me bleed worse than anyone ever has at a nail salon. They also heated up their food right next to me and the smell made me nauseous. This place will go out of business soon I think. So many better places nearby.

Wanted to try a new place for a pedicure and heard this place did a great job. The pedicure itself was pretty good, no complaints but the overall atmosphere very«cold». The employees did not make you feel welcome and were very«snobby», made my friend and I feel very uncomfortable. After our pedicures were done and we wanted to pay we are told that the tip can only be in cash and they had an ATM we could use with a $ 5 fee. I think there should be a sign so we are aware of this before we start and are prepared.

Great place for mani pedi! I went today for first time. Walked in and no wait. They did an excellent job on both manicure and pedicure and the included foot, hand AND neck massage was awesome!!! Highly recommend!

I had been going to P&L consistently for years – back when they started in the Sugar land area. Now in Katy, I started going to P&L again when they opened because some of the same technicians that were in Sugar Land were now in Katy. On my last routine visit I was surprised at checkout with a huge price increase. Change in price structures was not posted and no one said anything when I went in requesting the«usual». Uncool that customers were not informed of the changes upon entrance. At checkout when I was given the new total I asked to see the price listings for services, the attitude was haughty and condescending as the receptionist pulled the sheet from under the counter. Not nice. Bad business. Sorry. I will take my business elsewhere.

Warning: Cash only tips. You cannot just add you tip on to your credit card bill. They do a great job so come prepared with a decent amount of cash. I have only been to PL Nails & Spa III twice and I can say that I have already become a fan. For only two dollars more than my previous nail place, my pedicure is longer and it includes both hot stone AND paraffin wax. Also, these ladies(some times gents) are much more gentle and I feel like they are actually paying attention to my feet rather than the conversation. $ 37 for over an hour of service… not shabby by my lowly teacher salary standards. My only complaint this last time I went was that I made an appoint for 4 people at 2 pm. Although we were all seated by together by 2:05, my pedicure didn’t start until about 2:30. I was finished by about 3:45. I had planned on being done closer to 3. If you go here, don’t have closely scheduled plans afterwards. Don’t worry, its worth the wait but you don’t want to miss out on another important appointment just in case you go long.

I was on my way to the grocery store and saw this nail salon. I thought I would stop in quick for a manicure and pedicure before I shopped. It took two hours! Being pregnant my butt hurt after sitting in the chair for so long… but they did a fantastic job! It was about $ 40 for a regular manicure and pedicure. They exfoliate and do parafin wax on both your feet and hands. I thought this was a really great deal. I only wish it wouldn’t of taken so long. It wasn’t too busy when I went. I didn’t have to wait to be seated in a chair. But once I was in the chair I had to wait about 20 – 30 minutes before someone got to me. My nails looked great and my hands and feet were so soft! Even though the whole process took longer than I would have liked the pampering and quality paint job were well worth it! I’ll definitely go back!
