I was helped to find an awesome running shoe for my wide feet! The associate stayed with me for about 30 minuets to make sure I left happy! Found a cool pair that was pretty cheap too! Their staff was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Julie/​Julia (cant remember, sorry!), spent a good bit of time with me checking out a new pair of kicks. Ive been stuck on the Brooks Ghost since the Ghost since I began running about 5 years ago. I wanted a shoe with a little more cushion as Ive upped my mileage for the full marathon. We got to the Brooks Dyad which I have been working to adjust to. The shoes are taller and have been rubbing my ankles raw… time for taller socks. Back to the store, Its clean, well organized and was fillled with help for a week day during the day. Prices were reasonable and I wish I would have donated a pair of shoes for $ 10 off. Oh well, Ill be back in 400 miles.

Benny helped fit my dad for a running shoe when he was having foot pains and did a great job. He was very patient, and took his time finding just the right shoe for my dad’s foot. Anyone needing specific help with a running need would do well here.

i have super flat feet so i need special attention when it comes to choosing a great running shoe, otherwise i have ankle and knee problems. Wayne spent at least 30 min talking with me and watching me walk before recommending several options. I ultimately ended up going with a brooks. the price was great and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I’d definitely recommend and will be returning.

This location can be hit or miss. There are some very good and knowledgeable employees, however it also contains the other side too. Their selection is somewhat limited and they usually never have the shoes I want in stock, therefore I have to deal with an ordering fiasco and multiple trips there each time. (I prefer inov8s) The downtown location is wonderful, though, and always helpful.

I didn’t have a great customer service experience the first time I went into this location. I was contacted by one of the managers regarding it and he invited me to come back to give it a second chance. I took him up on the opportunity and I’m glad I did. He apologized about it and was very genuine about it. I experienced exceptional customer service when I went in for the second time. He helped me find a pair of running shoes to fit my needs as a beginner runner. I’m very pleased with the way the situation was handled and I will be back.

I have always looked for bargains while shoe shopping for myself. But when it comes to my mom, she deserves the very best. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff and they addressed any foot and shoe concerns. Once our guy brought the shoe to Mom, he asked her to walk down their little walking track inside the store. He observed her gait and asked her her feedback on the shoe fit and made recommendations and brought out other shoes for Mom to try. I loved the personalized attention. Mom was super happy with her new shoes and I was pleased to see genuine customer service in action. Now, only if Luke’s Locker would open a brunch place in Katy!

Phenomenal customer service! I run cross country and go through shoes every season and I always come here. They happily and knowingly fit you with a shoe that goes with your foot type, taking things like pronation, and distance into consideration.

Love this place. I can go in and talk with these people and they are very knowledgable about the products they offer. They seem to be a little bit more expensive than online retailers but I would much rather go here and get advice and training tools as well as a solid quality product.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced. They actually take the time to measure your feet and watch how you run in the shoes before you buy. Nick was extremely knowledgable about the products and spent a lot of time working with us to find the right match. They are a bit pricey, but you pay for what you are getting. I will definitely come back.

Meh… This location is okk… The store is not as big as the other River Oaks location and lacks variety. I wanted to pick up a running belt and a new (better) sport bra for an upcoming run.
I found the SPIbelts but they only had them in two colors… Wonk wonk… Then, I went over to the sports bra section and they only had a few racks of sport bras. I was quite disappointed… I remember going to the other location and finding much more variety. Ok fine, they only have a few models to choose from. But at least have them in all the sizes! For some reason they only had Ds and DDs. As far as the service, it could have been better. They didn’t seem very eager to help me and I had a lot of awkward stares from the employees as if I didn’t fit their stereotypical athlete or bored housewife categories. I prefer the other location both for the variety of merchandise they carry and the service.

I am a very active hiker/​walker. I have a LOT of problems with my feet and I’ve been here twice to be fitted for shoes. The salesman (who I was told was the shoe guru) spent a lot of time working with me and dissing my current shoes. I finally found a pair of shoes and happily left the store. Three days later I had to return them; blisters in new areas. This has happened on two different occasions, and I was willing to try them again, but they seem unable to help. They put me in the wrong size, wrong width, and my feet were even worse. If you have major foot problems, do NOT go here! Go to Foot Solutions!

These people were awesome. They were helpful and knowledgeable. My shoe specialist was Nancy. She was amazing. She helped me find the perfect shoe with no pressure. She was more than happy bringing me more shoes, tying them on herself, ensuring a perfect fit. They have a customer for life!

So my wife has been telling me about this place for a while, but the nearest one until now was in highland village. So yesterday we made the trek to cinco ranch to get some elastic laces for our running shoes. I got to say this place is put together well, huge selection of running shoes, apparel, and accessories and at a better price than academy or sun and ski. They have an informative staff who can fit you into your shoes and recommend which ones you need by inspecting the way you run (good deal). You sign in as an appointment to get member to assist you (also good). I will definitely return next week due to my running shoes are past overdue since they are 6 months old and way past my mileage, recommend anybody use a Luke’s Locker if you have one near :-)

This is a great Lukes Locker location. While the running path inside to try on your shoes is far to small to develop a good stride. The store does a great job packing in plenty of clothes, sports gels, accessories and any other fitness paraphernalia. The associates are always eager to help and are knowledgeable and genuinely are there to help you make a decision on any item.

Impressive! As a runner, I went here looking for shoes and a couple other accessory items. I was really impressed by the wide variety of product types and brands. They had what I was looking for, and ton more. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help.
The prices seemed to be a bit high, but the customer service they provide may be worth it…
They also have a lot of events they coordinate. Runs at 5am, etc.
Definitely going back and will recommend…

This Luke’s Locker is huge! They have everything from shoes, clothes, running accessories, and energy bars. Totally helpful staff! You can buy shoes anywhere, but if you are a runner (like my friend I was with) then you have special needs. We went here so my friend could get a new pair of running shoes as she is training for the half marathon. The blond woman (didn’t catch her name) was awesome. She took her time to bring out lots of different shoes. My friend tried each pair on and then ran down a mat in the store. The staff here really want you to find the right shoe. They won’t just try and sell you shoes to make a sale, they want to get it right. We left without shoes, but the salesperson/​shoe consultant was making calls to the River Oaks location to see if they had the right shoes for my friend. Really great customer service.
I’m not a runner, but after visiting this store with a runner I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for true shoe help.
