I would like to recommend this establishment as well as the staff working here, especially Perla. Perla was SUPER calm and very professional with our son Santiago. Our son has a difficult time when it comes to getting his hair cut and Perla was Nothing but awesome. She was very calm, supportive and brought ideas to calm my son down any means necessary. She took her time and did not RUSH. She was very sweet to our 2 year old. Thank you

My 2.5 year old had her first haircut here with Ruby, and I can not say enough good things about this place. Upon entrance you sign in and sit down. As you look around you realize that this is a mini salon that caters to mini kiddos. Hanging on the walls are bows, nail polish, toys, travel accessories, etc. a train set and toys are in the waiting area for kids to play with. Upon sitting your child in whichever car they pick, the stylist will processed to ask what you have in mind? How do you want me to cut your child’s hair, all while whistling, singing, offering cookies and lollipops to your tot. They do have a mini screen and they have Frozen playing, so that made my LO happy Ruby did a wonderful job with my squirmy toddler whose hair is really long and thick for her age. Will definitely be returning. I’m taking a star off because they did not dry her hair after cutting and left it soaking wet, just blotted it with a towel, and another reason why I took a star off is because I just learned that they offer a punch card so that they may talley your visits and offer a free cut after so many visits and that was not mentioned or offered to me.

My five year old is Autistic and has always been terrified of getting his hair cut. Ruby is so patient and calm and always manages to get him distracted and even happy to get his cut. So glad I found her as my hair cutting skills are awful! Love this place!

Ruby was great, my son hate getting haircuts. We usually have to sit with him on our lap to cut his hair, but ruby was great she had him sit on the car chair and strapped with the seat belt. (First time he sat alone) She distracted my son, sang with mickey mouse to my son, gave him cookies, she didn’t want us to interfere with him just had us sit in the sidelines. Of course my son wasn’t the best he still cried and moved but she was calm and relaxed. So that been said she’s definitely know how to work with kids even the cranky ones. Definitely give this place a shot.

Today my twins n i experienced the best hair cut time ever!!! Hair stylist Ruby was awesome w my twin boys n we had the best time ever!!! She was so amazing w the kids n her friendly approach w my kids make them laugh n cut their hair w no fuss!!! I give 10 out of 10 n recommend this place to every mom who find their kids hair cut a difficult job!!! Thanks Ruby again n May God bless you!!!

I took my 3 year old here and was a walk in. She was seen within a few minutes. They have a train set for the kids to play with while they wait. The stylist was sweet and listened to what I wanted and made suggestions without being pushy. They have «cars» for the kids to sit in while they get their haircut and watch tv. There’s one at every station and it helps keep the kids still!

My 6 year old son has had his hair cut here several times. Hairstylist, Ruby is always kind, personable and professional and my son comes out looking cute as can be! He loves the video games he can play while having his hair cut — it’s a great distraction!

Just moved to Texas from Chicago about two months ago, with all the packing and unpacking of the back 3 months my twin girls (3 years old) were really in need of a haircut. Thanks to all the awesome reviews I came here and the experience was great! The girls’ cuts came out really nice and the stylist (I believe she’s also the owner) was very calm :)

We brought our 2 year old here for his first hair cut and had an amazing experience. Shawonda cut his hair and was so friendly and bubbly with our little guy. He’s a wiggly toddler and got out of the chair during the hair cut to play with the train set and she had no problem following him around and cutting his hair as he played. They have a great train set and really cool chairs for the kids to sit in. We will be back!

Brought my nephew here for a hair cut. He is still pretty terrified of the clippers and isn’t a fan of hair cuts. Ruby did such an amazing job with him. Had animal crackers avail to soothe with sweets, toys to play with and he even picked out a Mickey episode to distract him.

I called in ahead of time to make an appointment, I guess they didn’t do it because they told me to just come on in. Ok, so upon arrival I had to sign in and had be on the list of other people waiting in order too. It’s about $ 15 – 18 haircut for kids. There is only one lady cutting hair, very nice and quick, but made my sons hair line in the back noticeably crooked. It was a long wait, what made it quick for the kids was the two play tables with toys, animal crackers and Disney channel TV when actually getting a haircut to stay still. Great concept for hair salon catered to mainly children, but maybe the timing to each client needs to be a little longer, and maybe scheduling appointments too. I just felt she went a little to fast and didn’t make it look good.

This morning I called and was assured that «walk-​ins» would be ok and there was no need to make an appointment. So I walked in with my two boys, and after waiting for half an hour without any attention from the only person working there who was busy with one client and taking phone calls I left. Disappointing. She could have asked me at least if I wanted to make an appointment for later.

Found this place after a bad experience at another «kids» place. Instantly fell in love with Kids Kutz & More. The owner/​stylist is AMAZING with the kids. Very patient and kind. She never makes them do anything they arent comfortable with, and unlike the first place we tried, she doesn’t have a problem with small kids who wiggle or aren’t completely cooperative. My daughter has been going since she was 1 and is now 3. She LOVES going to get her hair cut because she gets to play with the trains, watch videos and she gets a special «prize» (either animal crackers or a sucker) from the lady after her cut. Prices are good and it’s close to my house. My sister even brings her little boy every time she comes to visit from Louisiana!

Took my son there today for his first haircut. They are beyond accommodating. There are cars for the kids to sit in, animal crackers, TV and toys to play with before, during and after the haircut. They made sure to save a lock of hair for us and then daddy got his haircut there too. This is our new place for haircuts!

Best blowout in town, I found this by driving by and have been coming back one to two times a week, almost a year ago. Ruby takes care of you! Can’t beat the price for a blowout! Ladies this place is awesome and your kids can play while you get pampered!!!

After looking all around us for a place to get my son’s hair cut for the first time, I was very disappointed that none of them had even semi-​decent reviews. Luckily I stumbled onto Kidz Kutz and saw only one review. We took a chance on it and it we couldn’t have been happier! They were very inviting and were very good and keeping my little man occupied while she was cutting his hair. She was patient with me as I took half a million pictures as well. I highly recommend this place and I encourage you to write some reviews so other people can find and support them.

Ruby is awesome!!! My 2 ½ year old son always freaks out when it’s time for a haircut. Screams, cries, kicks, even hisses at me and the hairdressers lol but Ruby calmed him down by playing with him and talking to him. She has great patience and takes her time without butchering my son’s hair. The hairdressers at other places we’ve been to in the past seem to get annoyed and even lose their patience with my son, but Ruby was great, she even had him hi fiving her :)

Only place I will take my daughter to get her haircut. The owner is so wonderful with my 2 year old and does a fast, good job with her hair. Plus they always fix it super cute.

I love this place. It is by far the best place to take a toddler for a haircut. Two new train tables, movies, car chairs, toys and a really nice lady running it. She has even cut my kid’s hair while he played when he didn’t want to get in the chair. After a bad first experience, we tried this one and haven’t left. They are cheaper than the others in town and I’ve never waited. Not sure how they stay in business because we are always the only ones in there. But the manager lets us stay and play trains afterward as long as we want and my 2 year old always feels comfortable with her. She won’t do something if the kid’s not ok with it, like not using the clippers or drape. Just a really comfortable, even fun place for a little kid. They do adult haircuts too, which I’ve never done but am tempted because of the entertainment for the little one.

Great children’s place! Went her for a trim for my 4.5 year old son & first hair cut for my 2.5 year old daughter. They let each of them pick which themed chair they wanted to sit in then asked them what show/​movie they’d like to watch while getting their hair cut. Both ladies were great, very patient & paid close attention to the type cut I was wanting.
Don’t waste your time taking your little one to an adult salon… this one is made for kids AND great prices!!!
