This has got to be the best Jo Ann location I’ve been to. The aisles are clean and they have a huge assortment of scrapbooking embellishment that I could buy. Everything is organized and neatly placed. The lights are so bright and I can see everything clearly unlike some other locations where I would have to squint in order to read a label.
The only negative aspect about this location is the restrooms. I didn’t go inside, but I only walked by it and there was this pungent odor. It smelled like someone peed all around that area and left it there for days! I’ve never smelt something so awful before. I really had to go to the restroom, but I held it because I rather risk my bladder bursting than fainting mid-way through my restroom session. I hope they fix/clean this because I would really love this location if it didn’t have this problem. I wanted to give them 5 stars so badly, but I just couldn’t.

I will always throw my money toward this store. Everyone and everything is organized. When there is a line for fabric cutting, I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes. Even if there are 8 people in front of me. Everyone is so helpful. Isis is very warm! I go here about three times a week to take advantage of their amazing summer sales! Great place!

This is a great Jo-Ann Fabrics location. This place is always looks disheveled! The staff isn’t very helpful, in fact, I don’t think they enjoy talking to people. It’s a tad on the expensive side for their mediocre inventory of thread, fabric, patterns, etc… I only go when I have a coupon or see a really good sale. For some reason, their cake decorating and baking inventory is limited each week…

This review is based solely on their yarn selection, which is AWESOME!!! There is a huge inventory at this location. I so badly wish the chain craft stores in my area had this much yarn. They had colors of Caron Simply Soft that I’ve only been able to find online. I will definitely come here again for yarn, and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone shopping for yarn.

I love to go to this Jo Ann, I’ve been in Katy for a year and I visit this store a lot because the kind of business I have. I’m very happy with their customer service. I think they are the best. My experience here is totally different the other Jo Ann stores, it is much better, it is pretty relaxed to shop here, stuff doesn’t look stressed or overwhelmed. They are always very friendly and helpful with a beautiful smile, look like they are enjoying their work. This is a great start for my shopping every time I go there. It is a clean store and most of the time is organized, you know they are always moving things around for seasonal merchandise. Fabrics are pricey but if you have a coupon is great. If you don’t have one; sometimes near the entrance to the left, they have brochures with coupons.
I will like to see better selection on tassels and trims; it is pretty limited; no much to choose from.
