It is ok BBQ. Ordered a pound of beef. Sliced too thick and some were a little tougher than others.

I love it it’s amazing. The baked potato was a good big size. It actually fed two people. It HAD a lot of cheese tho. My SO love cheese so that was a plus from him. Wish they give more sour cream. It’s okay tho because I had some at home. Wish they had Mac and cheese !!!:(overall customer service was great and it was good :)

I love this place but moved a few months back so I rarely get to eat their food! Absolute favorite meal is the deer sausage sandwich but the three meat plate over fries us delicious as well!

Keep on driving by. Ordered a Sliced Beef Sandwich and fries. I asked for lean meat 3 times in ordering. When I got back with my sandwich it was all fatty beef. I couldn’t even eat it with all the fat. And the fries were soggy and greasy. They seemed as if they were re-cooked in hot oil. Not worth the money at all.

My son and I drove out of the way to come here, and I’m glad we did. We found this place on Unilocal because it had 5 stars. When we arrived we were surprised to discover a food truck instead of a brick and mortar. No problem, we support the little guy. The sausage links was ridiculously tasty, and that’s before you add sauce. Friendly service. Be prepared to wait a few minutes for your food. A lot of people knows about this little gem.

Just finished enjoying this for the first time. It was delicious!!! I am extremely picky but everything was great. I had brisket sandwich and two sides of brisket beans. Cost was more than I expected BUTWELLWORTHIT. Portions fit the cost and you do not feel they cut corners on your meal. They even included a roll. Also the lady wearing the white shirt who took my order was sweet, professional and offered lemonade. Picture a nice food truck. It was clean on the outside and appeared organized and clean on the inside window view. No strange odors came from the window which sometimes food trucks have. It’s too important to not pay attention to where your food is coming from. As stated earlier, I’m picky so I detailed this for the other pickies like me. This is my opinion and no one asked me to give one. I look forward to returning to try another dish. Thanks!

Hitters is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had — me, 40 years old, 34 of them spent in South Texas. Idk how he seasons that brisket but it is just divine. Smoke ring on point. Crisp edges with meat that melts in your mouth. Bun was toasted and soft yet also crisp. Excellent sauce — not too sweet, just enough vinegar, drinkable. I wanna go for a swim in it. And the beans. Spank my ass and call me Charlie. Will be back tomorrow and possibly the day after. Big fan.

This is the best brisket I’ve had in Katy by a long shot! It was extremely smoky and tender with the perfect amount of fat to keep it juicy and beefy. The fresh made french fries took a little time, but were totally worth the wait! Finally, the cole slaw had great crunch and a nice tangy bite. The staff were friendly, the portions were filling, and the food was top notch and cooked with love. I will definitely be back again!

Really good first visit and more will follow. Best sauce I’ve had in Houston. Brisket was great with a good char. Potato salad was solid but the beans were phenomenal.

Ok, I’m generous and I want to say that I won’t be coming back. I am a fan of the first visit, but the second visit was the food was not like the first time. I totally understand the whole idea of the meat being too fatty in certain parts, and the no waste. First time the food was delicious and great, it was everything I was craving. We thus went a second time and the food fell short. I was so blown away the first time the second was a slap in the face. We had the Potato loaded, just the way the owner makes it, the brisket was too fatty, it took forever to chew, it was not a good day for brisket. Pork Ribs were okay, nothing special and felt a like the cow was a skinny one at that. Not enough flavor. It was just lame. Sandwhich was just right. I loved it. So I can’t complain.

We tried Hitters for the first time. Wow! The brisket was tender with a great smoky taste. The deer sausage had the perfect amount of spice. The beans were my favorite.(I went back later and bought more) YUMMY

We have been frequent customers of Hitter’s for about the last 6 months and have only been disappointed when they are out of something. The brisket is always tender and smoky. The sausage is also very good. Once the spicy sausage was a bit too peppery, but it still disappeared off the table! Ribs have never disappointed, and he recently added turkey legs to the menu. Tender, juicy, easily pulls off the bone with a nice smoky taste. The potato salad is good basic stuff, but my favorites are the cole slaw and beans. The cole slaw is creamy with a bit of mustard to give it a nice tang. And the beans… mmmm! Smoky sweet with little chunks of brisket in there too! The BBQ sauce is good, as well, a sweet tangy sauce. But we seldom use it, the meat is so good by itself. Quite wisely, he doesn’t do any desserts, concentrating his efforts on outstanding que. But if you really need a fix for your sweet tooth, walk across the patio to Ritter’s for a pint or quart of one of the flavors of the day while your BBQ order is being prepared. A great ending to a fantastic dinner!
