Delicious! Kolaches and Strawberry Shortcake Donuts are awesome! Pecan Pie Fritter was tasty just a little too sweet for me, but I expected it to be rich.

Amazing little place. We tried only donuts this time. The customer service is excellent and welcoming on our first visit. The taste is better than expected. Try the maple and bacon in one word it is heavenly.

Is this place as good as the other reviews say? Pretty much. I got the«deluxe» version of their red velvet donut(my naming, not theirs) which had a ring of cream cheese on top. It is a cake-type of doughnut, but was soft and melted in my mouth. While it was soft, it wasn’t crumbly like many cake-style doughnuts so that was a positive since I was eating it in my car. It was also put in its own box so there was no bag to smear the icing off. Then there was the apple fritter. It was very good, very rich, and a bit larger than fritters you will find elsewhere. These fritters are not just plain apple, but seems to be an apple and cinnamon mixture similar to that you might find in a turnover. This was so rich that I could only eat about half of it and the taste of it has pretty much stuck with me throughout the day and into the afternoon. I’m not sure if that is good or not. The only thing I could wish for is a fork and knife. Their strawberry and bavarian cream donut that is pictured in reviews here is a bit messy to just pick up and eat on the go and some of their others look similarly messy. They should also invest in a better sign. It just says«donuts and kolaches» or «donuts» on their signs which really doesn’t let the customer know what delights await them if they drop in. Otherwise, I’ll be back I’m sure.

With a donut shop on every corner, we were happy to find a definite stand out! Exquisite donuts. And I love that the chocolate donuts are not glazed! Impeccable quality!

The donuts are delicious and the prices are cheap. They have a variety of donuts it’s not that typical donut shop around the corner. You can tell the girl running the shop takes pride in her creation(not sure if she’s the owner or just an employee but she’s really friendly).

Their glazed donuts are so delicious. They are the closest we’ve found to Krispy Kreme so far in Houston. They aren’t quite as light and melt in your mouth like KK, but we still loved them. My in laws enjoyed them after dinner for dessert. We even enjoyed them the next day. We were lucky and got half a dozen fresh out the oven. We also got some jalapeño kolaches. Very fresh and we gobbled those right up. I also had their iced coffee. I cannot wait to go back sometime this week for more!

Best Katy hidden gem! I was unaware this was only a few miles from my home until a customer told my husband that it is a MUSTGOTO spot for donuts. I think I over did it the first time I visited, but so worth it. The donuts are soft and fresh. It’s one thing to have a really pretty decorated donut and the toppings are good but the donut isn’t so fresh. Glaze’s donuts are both really fresh and the toppings/extras are delicious! The glazed donuts are just as good if not better than Krispy Kreme. I’ve had donuts at the popular donut spot in Richmond, Grove Donuts and as unique as their donuts were, they weren’t all consistently fresh. Here at Glaze, they are. I also recommend trying the boudain kolaches. Lots and lots of boudain in these. Great donut place, no frills spot. Saturday and Sundays try to get there before 9am, the specialty donuts go fast. Service is great, sweet folks! Hope they have continued success in Katy!

My 100th review goes to my favorite donut shop. Anyone who lives in Katy knows that there are plenty of donut shops around, almost one in every neighborhood. I’ve been to many mom and pop donut shops in the Katy area(don’t judge me), but this place is by far the best option. This place is an easy 5 for me because of the great donuts and the great customer service. They definitely aren’t your average donut shop. They are constantly coming out with new and unique flavors. My favorites here are the butter pecan donuts, Nutella holes, birthday cake donuts, red velvet donuts, and the amazing piña colada fritters. I’m addicted to the piña colada fritters, they are crispy and absolutely delicious. Unlike the donuts in some other places, the donuts here aren’t too sweet and are actually filling. Many donut shops make their donuts way too sweet and light. The donuts here have the perfect amount of sweetness and don’t leave you hungry. The customer service is always great no matter what time you show up, which makes them even better. It’s pretty difficult to find a place with such a great product and great customer service. This place is located next to a gas station and the Pizza Shoppe, and the sign outside says Donuts. It’s easy to miss if you’re looking for it to say the Glaze Doughnuts.
