This place is great. Food is great and customer service is even better. Customer service is extremely important to me. Very friendly, family owned, helpful staff. I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend trying it out. If customer service is as important to you as it is to me, you will love this place

Delicious food!!! We had the falafel and it was fresh and to die for. Hubby and I both ordered a traditional gyro and it was quite tasty. We also had kebeh and it was fresh and piping hot!!! I could drink the garlic sauce by the gallons. Small, cozy place that is definitely worth visiting!

I had the hummus and a gyro sandwich during lunch. I was able to get in and out quickly. The food was excellent and so was the service. This was some of the best Greek/Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I do wish I had ordered some baklava Togo, but maybe next time.

Fantastic! The food is flavorful and fresh! I haven’t had the falafel yet, but it is safe to say I met the Shawarma King. Great neighborhood restaurant run by a warm friendly family. I will be back.(We had the beef and chicken shawarma, gyros, baklava, and fig cookies — all outstanding.)

The Best Middle Eastern restaurant in the Houston area, hands down. It tastes like I’m sitting in my mothers kitchen. I can’t believe how fantastic the food is. The most authentic food I’ve eaten since I’ve been in the Houston area for the past 13 years. I’m so excited about this place! I dine in ¾ times a week, I can’t get enough. I can’t wait to bring my Mother in to try this place, she won’t believe it.

My family and I decided to come here because it was new and very close to our house. I’ve tried a lot of gyros and hummus in my life and these were pretty good! I’m giving this place 5 stars the owners are probably the nicest I’ve ever encountered! Would recommend this place.

This is a true mom and pop shop. The elderly gentleman that took our order was genuine and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and deserve the high praise they received so far. If you want to eat ethnic give this place a try.

Originally driving to whataburger, this gem caught my eye, did a u turn and came in. Originally, upon entering all you notice is the heat. A few steps in and we were greeted by this old man who was very friendly and polite. After a while you dont notice the heat. The service is amazing! The food is flavorful, I had the chicken Schwarma, friends got gyros. It was a delightful lil restaurant. I highly recommend coming here.

Alright so this place is fairly new. Its about a 2 minute drive from my house. I remember driving by & seeing the sign go up for this place. Of course I was excited to have a falafel joint close to home. Alright, so the falafels are really good. It takes a little while to get a wrap because they make them as you order. About 10 – 15 mins. The staff is extremely friendly, how friendly are they you ask? Well I was waiting for my wrap & one of the cooks game me a falafel to snack on while I waited for my wrap. He assured me that these are some fresh falafel patties, & this is the best way to eat them. Sure enough, good stuff! They look like mini donuts to me. On the other hand Im not to sure how authentic this wrap is? Im used to having some purple pickles in my wrap.(Been spoiled by Phoenicia). Im not Mediterranean by any means so not sure whats right or wrong. Anyways, one good thing about this place is they use Phoenicia pita wraps. I caught a glimpse of the pita bag. Next comes the hummus. Alright so Ive made some pretty legit hummus in my day. Heck made some a few weeks ago. But the place fell way short to my hummus expectations. Possibly one if the blandest hummus ive ever eaten. Definitely lacked flavor. Tasted mainly like straight tahini sauce. Consistence was good, hummus was nice & creamy but just didnt do it for me. The facility isn’t anything fancy, reminds me of a café. But even some cafes have some sort of theme. Well this place has no theme just table & chairs. Could use some sort of decorations & some Mediterranean music would be nice to help with authenticity. Maybe their working on that aspect, not too sure. Overall, when im craving a falafel wrap & dont feel like driving anywhere this place will be my spot. Im just gonna walk over there. Prices are fair. $ 5.95 for my wrap & $ 2.95 for hummus. Less then $ 10. Not a bad deal. I don’t know about their meat so check it for yourself & see yo!

Their food is good and their service is friendly. They may not be ready for big parties of 7. During teacher inservice, we came here for a quick lunch and it took a long time for the luke warm food to come out. The only thing that was super hot was the French fries. We didn’t have time to get a coffee before returning to work. Prepare for at least an hour and a half lunch.

I saw great reviews for this mom and pop restaurant, so i decided to check it out. I ordered to-go. The beef and chicken Shawarma had really great taste. They were both seasoned very well! The fries were very good and crispy. The hummus was great, but I wished they added pita or something so I could eat it with. But no worries less carbs! They have an outstanding garlic sauce that I wanted to put on everything! You have to be patient and not be in a rush for food when you come here. They are new and still getting in the swing of things. The staff is very friendly. When I got there to pick up my food, it wasn’t ready yet so they offered me a beverage while waiting. I can’t wait to try other items off of their menu! So glad there is a Greek place near my house so I don’t have to drive all the way in town to get quality Greek food!

This place popped up on my Unilocal and I love trying new places so why not! The staff is very friendly and does whatever possible to accommodate you. However, when I got my tea there was the most unpleasant slimy substance in my tea and I was so grossed out I wanted to leave. I still have no idea what went into my mouth. They bring your food out to you in doses. I ordered the falafel plate, which on tbe menu says it comes with rice, I didn’t get my rice. Then my friend ordered the chicken kabob plate and it took an hour for her to even get her food because the first kabob they put down caught on fire and by that time we had asked for the food to go. They gave us extra hummus, which is so delicious by the way, and baklava for the wait. When we got back to the house her chicken unfortunately was not cooked all the way through. Long sotry short, id stick to getting food to go from here and not ordering meats. The falafel and hummus is delicious.

I’m giving this a 4 because it takes alot to get a 5 in my book. I just happened to see this place when I was picking up pizza for my kids and thought I’d give it a try. I only ordered the Gyro to go and I was very pleased. They have only been open about 2 weeks and don’t even have a sign on the building yet. It is family owed and operated and everything seems to be fresh. I will certainly come back to try something else.

Driving on fry road going home, falafel king caught my eye so I stopped by. We don’t really get much authentic Mediterranean food in this area so I figured I’ll give it a shot. First off, the place looks really nice and clean. Secondly, the service was outstanding ! I was greeted right away and the staff is very personable. Lastly, the food was full in variety and turned out to be really really good. I highly recommend this place for any one who wants to satisfy hunger and or looking for true Mediterranean cuisine and sweets. I will most certainly be back and I highly recommend to all. Fyi — I don’t normally leave reviews for good service and products(only the bad ones) frankly, because great service and a quality product is expected. However, they deserve it ! Cheers,

I was out visiting my pops in TX this past week and stumbled upon Falafel King. Much to my delight they had everything I could want on their menu and it was all delicious! I had the tabouli, hummus, the gyro and fries(I like variety and the very approachable prices allowed me to get practically everything on the menu). My husband had the shawarma(and of course picked off my plate as well). The hummus was perfect. There are very few places that make hummus that you actually become addicted to. This is one of them. The tabouli was fresh and the fries were delightful. The gyro and the shawarma were both amazing and tasted very different from each other which not many other places manage to achieve. Falafel King has apparently been in a soft open stage for a while– I think they’re ready for a grand opening. This is definitely a place I’d like to get back to. I’m hoping they get super popular and open a shop out in Chicago. We could use more deliciousness out here!

Ok, this is a small, family owned place and I happened in by chance. They’ve only been open a week and haven’t even had their grand opening yet. The food is SO tasty and everyone seems very concerned to make sure their customers enjoy it. A few tiny links here and there, like figuring out what sides you want, but no biggie at all. Good holy mother of seasoned meat… The Beef Shawarma and their garlic sauce is to die for. And the fries while looking kinda«out of a freezer bag» are anything but… They are so crispy and delightful… O’rida has nothing on this. I cannot wait to come again and try the Chicken Kabab. It looks heavenly and the kitchen is totally open SO you can see them preparing everything.
