Came in here to browse around and check it out. Staff was so great and very knowledgeable. Made us feel very welcomed and excited to shoot.

Man, what can I say other than this place certainly sets the bar. Last weekend, I walked in to pay for my LTC class, and I walked out with a bunch of FREE Smith & Wesson gear. A shirt, hat, pen, koozie, ECT. All just for stoping in on a weekend they had a Smith & Wesson representative there. Being one that loves their M&P products, you can bet I was ecstatic! Their showroom very «hands on» and interactive. I love that you don’t have to ask a guy behind a counter to show you everything you want to see. I took my LTC course today. Scott, the instructor, was awesome. He was very laid back, yet informative and made the class enjoyable. Definitely coming back to pick up a shield 9 mm when my license gets in. Keep it up, guys!

This is an outstanding range with excellent staff, all around. I’ve been shooting here once a week for the past five months, sometimes by myself other times with family and friends. All the employees are very helpful and explain everything very well (whether you’re novice or experienced).
Pricing is good, you pay for one hour blocks for a lane and can have two people use a single lane if you want (you can’t both shoot at the same time, you will have to rotate/​take turns). Ammo prices are what they are, I felt the prices are fair and not jacked up because you’re at a range with nowhere else to buy unless you left.
You can rent and try a variety of firearms which is appealing if you’re wanting to try something different or are in the market for a new one. Rental comes with a box of ammo and you purchase more if you want to shoot more, pricing was fair in my opinion.
The range itself very well done, in design and cleanliness. The lanes have dividers with clear sidewalls and the target machines are easy to operate (distance then enter then F1).
***The bathrooms are VERY CLEAN, nuff said.
The gun shop has a really nice selection of firearms, they’re nice but that also means pricey. I would say if your looking for a basic rifle/​shotgun/​pistol you’ll probably wind up at academy or Bass Pro Shops, you’ll come here when you’re ready for an upgrade. And when you do upgrade it will be worth it, they’re stock is premo!
At this time they do not have gun smithy services but staff told me they are preparing to add this, which will be really great when it’s added. I’ll update my review to 5 ***** when it’s added as I think that will really complete the whole package for Boyert.
I would highly recommend this range to anyone from beginner to expert. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and after five months of going weekly, I think if there were problems or rude employees I would have seen it by now. I think I’ve met pretty much met everyone and they’ve all been top shelf in my opinion.

This is the premier shooting facility in this area. I have visited numerous others in the past and always disappointed with the lack of service and the condescending attitudes that exist in most shooting centers. The facility and restrooms are immaculate.
BOYERT is SO much different. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted and treated like they really want you there. Ruth is incredible. She remembers your name and always has a warm smile.
Their employees are very customer service oriented whether you are an experienced shooter or a novice. I have taken my teenage daughter with me to shoot and they are very kind and respectful to her. They will take their time to show you the facility and the weapons available for rent.
The showroom floor is very well displayed. The sales staff take their time to show you any weapon they have, answer questions, give recommendations and are patient and not pushy. After several visits and picking Jason’s brain, I purchased a pistol that I am extremely happy with. He was awesome helping me.
Bryan and Alex are two of the instructors there and are always enthusiastic about answering any questions. I have taken classes from both. Alex and Jason helped me with my selection for the pistol.
These guys are setting the highest standard for a shooting facility that few others will ever meet. Experience, knowledge, customer service, but without the egotistical attitude.

Great first experience, courteous and helpful staff, clean facility. Really glad we went. If you have your own guns/​ammo, bring them. Save on rental fees which can pile up quickly.

I completed my CHL certification at the Katy location on December 19, 2015. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The facilities are top notch, the staff is friendly and professional, and the instruction was excellent. Our instructor was great. For many adults, its been a long time since we have participated in a 5 hour class, but this was a great experience. I highly recommend this, and the Westheimer location, if you are looking for firearm services of any kind in the Houston, Texas area.

Great place and location for obtaining your CHL. Staff was very patient and understanding allowing me to successfully pass.

I’m on a business trip from Norway, and today I wanted to find a shooting range for some fun. I must say that this is the best shooting range I have visited. Safety was top priority and the staff was super friendly, welcoming and professional. They made their best effort to make this a great day at the range. I’m coming back to Boyert next week for some more fun. Thanks!

Excellent experience! Great staffs, great guns and fair price! Will come here again! The gun store has a lot of choices, and sales are professional!
Have tried 4 guns in shooting range, and environment is amazing.

Wife and I walked in with shotguns to shoot. Neither of us have bags but this has never been a problem. Both guns were unloaded with the chambers clearly open and the barrels pointed up at all times. We were told to leave because of safety concerns (the alternative was to buy one of there bags, how convenient). Might have considered this acceptable if I didn’t see that the customer at the counter (clearly uneducated in guns) was literally pointing the AR rifle for rent directly at the employee behind the counter. This seemed to not be a problem to anyone nor pose any kind of safety concerns. Great start to a brand new range…

Gone to Boyert many times and bought my gun from them and was extremely happy with service and price. Definitely will do business again.

I will never do business here. Poor customer service follow through and high prices.
