Starbucks

This is probably the worst Starbucks that I have ever been to. I waited to review after several visits just in case the worker on that particular day was having a personal bad day… it happens to the best of us! The 2 stars are for customer service only because the drinks are made well.
If you stop in his location, be prepared to 1) receive poor service 2) feel hassled if you ask for free water 3) be told they don’t offer free refills for gold members unless you purchased and keep your receipt from their location.
I don’t really care about the free refills because I rarely get free refills because I drink Americanos and only asked for a refill of coffee to drink while I shopped at Target.
The incident that tops all of my horrible experiences here was when I was by myself and ordered 5 drinks and asked for a water to drink while I was waiting. The cashier gave me a sour look and asked if I wanted to purchase water instead. When I picked up my order, I was told that not only were they out of stoppers, but drink carriers too! Seriously, why didn’t they mention it before I paid!!! I had to get a Target shopping cart to load up the drinks in; not to mention the drinks were spilling as I wheeled the cart to my car! Me in Target: Hot mess in Aisle 1!!!
I should have asked for a refund and drive down the street to the Starbucks by Home Depot. At that Starbucks, I always get courteous service that I generally receive at any of other Starbucks.

Family member bought us some strawberry acai refresher and paid for a trenta but the drinks were not full. The rep was unprofessional and looked like she was not happy about something and taking it out on people’s drinks. Not being racist but it was a white heavy set girl. And judging from the others posts and comments, we are not the first victims. And obviously the management haven’t done anything about it!!!

I have never felt the need to leave a horrible review on a place but…
First thing is the customer service. When a customer says «I ordered an ice coffee» and you keep telling the customer that he said «house coffee» because that’s what you heard over and over again. Just put the attitude away, it’s not that big of a deal. I know what I said… And they sound similar, but cmon… The attitude coming out of this guy looked like someone just killed his dog when I ordered.
Second of all, these were the most unprofessional employees I’ve ever seen. Very stale faces, lazy and sluggish. I don’t think they had a manager there to settle them down when they were just being loud and obnoxious. Or to tell them to smile or something, just stale faces. And just complaining about being there for everyone to hear. Like come on at least complain for us not to hear…
Lastly, I have never had a drink from Starbucks that I’ve thought of asking them to remake. I ordered a flat white which I love at every Starbucks I’ve been to from the mainland to here but I have no idea what the heck they put in this one… Tasted like… Horrible. to be polite.
They need to hire people who are trained a bit more in customer service, I never write reviews like this but dang they deserved this one for sure.

Me and my sister got iced coffees with sweetener and half and half and somehow they butchered it. Coffee is too watery and their milk to coffee ratio isn’t right.

I agree with a lot of Unilocalers about this Starbucks. They are the most unfriendly location I have ever encountered. Usually Starbucks has a good customer service so I was actually even bit surprised. They are unenthusiastic and just not happy at all. The line can be long as well. And someone said here that Target locations are just franchise so different management I guess. I will just go to a regular Starbucks location next time.

This review is for Summer, she was the most rudest cashier at Starbucks! No customer service at all. She didn’t greet me as ordering my coffee, and to top it off gave me back the wrong change. I will be notifying the manager if this Starbucks as well

After a hectic morning and running errands in Kapolei, a venti cup of White Chocolate Mocha saved me. I didn’t fuss over the line or the inattentive barista. What mattered most was that they didn’t screw up my simple drink. A few sips of my comfort beverage and I was good to go. Thank you Starbucks!

Whenever I arrive at this location, there’s always a line and the pace just moved too slow like a turtle. I end up buying a sugar free red bull or some other energy drink at the Target Café instead and they move much faster than Starbucks.

Got my morning kickstarted here with an iced Americano. This location is always busy being located inside of target. The staff worked well together and cared about the product they were making. I have no complaints about how my drink was made and they didn’t skimp on the espresso to water plus ice mixture. A lot of places can’t get this right! I went to give a tip and the clerk said they cannot except it because target doesn’t allow tips. I hope they are compensated in their pay and if not, target better let them put a tip jar out!

This particular Starbucks needs to give the «Friendliest Staff» award to each & everyone of it’s employee’s here! They always greeted you with a Aloha or a Good morning Becky & Rich the «usual» after only 2 – 3 visits here. I do not think we went to another Starbucks this past summer while on island! Was hard NOT to go each & every morning which I believe we did do! Miss this staff and your ALOHA love! Keep up the great work and the BEST coffee/​mocha coming!

Thee SLOWEST Starbucks on the island. This is the one with the drive thru Yall needa step it up! And work on your recipes. it barely tastes the same as the others. Taste is always inconsistent

Located in Target in Kapolei, convenient location for a drink after shopping. You will always expect long lines here because it’s in Target, which is almost always buzzzy. Staff is average in friendliness. I ordered the Salted Caramel Mocha, hot, with whip cream, and lemmie tell you, it was onolicious yummy. I went when it closing and the store’s floor was dirty with rubbish on the floor. Other than that, everything else was pleasant.

If I could give them –0 stars then I would! Rude employees who talk under their breathes just cause they got my order wrong. PLUS when they remade my order, it didn’t even taste like how a java chip should taste like. In other words, Don’t ever come to this starbucks.

Keala and John were Awesome! Very friendly talking with my kids and they placed their order. They looked they really enjoyed their job and working together. One of the most friendly Starbucks I’ve been too. Mahalo for the fast and great Service!!!

I don’t drink a lot of Starbucks coffee. I like Starbucks, but don’t go off my review if you’re a coffee snob who lavishes every flavor. I still can’t figure out why «Coffee» isn’t on the menu, and I have no idea what a «Venti» is. Pretty sure the sizes are Italian — the founder based Starbucks on the typical Italian coffee shop (BTW Italy as a country is incredible, hence Starbucks being as awesome as it is).
Anyways, this specific Starbucks location is clean, the staff is happy, and they make your drink correctly. When I’ve ordered a pumpkin-​macchiatto-​soy-​double-​whip-​espresso-​on-​the-​side-​extra-​skinny-​latte (or equivalent froofy drink) they have tasted good — well, as good as you can get for drinking enough sugar to tranquilize a grizzly bear.
Overall they do good work.
But let’s face it, even if I said they serve dead babies in their brew, people would still stop in to get their caffeine fix.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? You’ve been to one — you have likely been to all. I don’t mean to say that is a bad thing by any means.
At this one in particular I had ordered a hot chai tea made with soy milk. I love chai! I noticed while they were making my drink they used regular milk instead. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was someone else’s drink? So I asked the Barista making my drink. She said she used regular milk. I told her it was suppose to be soy. Turns out her partner at the cash register charged me for soy, but didn’t write it on my cup. The Barista making the drink was so kind and made me a new one and an even bigger one then the one I had ordered (which was not necessary, but I definitely appreciate it!) Thank you so much for easily going above and beyond when it came to fixing my order.
I hate being «that» person who is all nit picky — But then again if I am paying that much for a tea.
I love the location because I’m at Target way too much and parking is nice and easy. Thanks again Starbucks and wonderful Barista who re-​made my order! I will definitely be coming back!

Stopped on my way out for the spiced vanilla latte; don’t waste your money on this flavor… it’s just additional spice added to a vanilla latte LOL.
but as for this starbucks; found out that they don’t participate in the starbucks reward program; so if you have a free food/​drink awaiting you cannot redeem here. The Barista was very pleasant and the area was clean. Being my first visit I gave an A-ok…may update if I visit here again.

By far the friendliest Baristas! One person can take care of taking orders and making drinks and still there’s hardly any waiting! The drinks are always consistent, I’ve been to other locations where they really water it down and it’s very disappointing. They also have a pretty spacious area with tables and counters to sit down. My husband and I live in Mililani but when we are craving a Starbucks drink we make the drive to Kapolei target because it really is worth it.

I come here when I’m in Kapolei and go to Target. It’s very convenient to grab coffee or tea and walk through target, or after shopping. It was about 8pm when I went and one barista was working behind the counter. She was busy making a customer’s drink but didn’t forget to acknowledge my presence. She let me know that she knew I was there and that she’d be with me in a second. It was a very chill vibe at this Starbucks. There were a few people sitting down enjoying their drinks and food from Pizza Hut next door.

I just went to this starbucks today — after seeing a movie at the nearby movie theatre. I went thru the drive thru — they made my coffee the way I wanted it and they made it quickly — with friendly service. I will come here again.
