Sharing the Butterfly Experience

If you’re interested in butterflies (mainly monarchs), I would check this place out! I first found Darlene on Unilocal and asked my boyfriend to take me there for my birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect but heard that the butterfly garden was at her house. Once we arrived we were greeted by huge monarchs that were flying by her house! You go up a few stairs and arrive at her butterfly garden which is filled with all types of flowers and plants that butterflies love. There are many butterflies flying around and there are also a lot in cages so that they are free from predators. There is one big shed filled with caterpillars and a few tents with butterflies mating and laying eggs. It was really amazing to see this and it inspired me to create my own. I purchased a tent ($ 15) and a few plants ($ 8/​each) and the caterpillars (I think they were free!) — Since I have visited her, I actually stay in touch and ask her all of my questions, which she gets right back to me within minutes!
