Seriously the coconut prawns are delicious. Freshly fried and amazing. We also ordered the chili hot dog which was just okay. I would stick to the coconut prawns because you can’t go wrong. That kinda rhymes.

Chicken tenders are gross! Their like a jumbo McDonald’s chicken nugget and very chewy. If you like rubbery chicken this is for you. For what we paid to stay here I expected much better from Disney!

I live nearby and sometimes stop by for a snack. The menu has slightly changed, and now includes a chili dog in place of previous menu items. I used to enjoy the buffalo chicken sandwich but the sauce has changed and it’s now way too spicy for me. The food is good for what it is– hot dogs, and chicken fingers. You can’t really get too fancy with those choices. The service has not been great with my experience and it’s below Disney standards. The employees usually talk to each other and have not been interested in the customers. I hope they can practice friendlier service at this location.

Coconut shrimp and fries are the best deal here!(I think the kid’s meals were okay too). Still a little pricey, but for Disney and for what you get — the coconut shrimp was a good choice. Came with 4 pieces of coconut shrimp on top of a bed of fries. Came with sweet chili sauce for dipping and also got some ketchup. You’ll have to ask for honey mustard if you want too! That’s good too. Fast service if you want a quick snack in between your pool time! Made to order and they were fresh and hot when we got it. Yum!

The coconut shrimp and fries was perfect. I love coconut shrimp that you can taste the coconut. The buffalo ranch chicken dog was gross, I did not like it at all! It was two tiny chicken tenders wirh ranch and buffalo sauce in a gross crusty bun. Pay the extra few dollars and get the shrimp!

located in the Aulani Disney Resort, the food here is okay. Expensive — expected. Service = quick! for over $ 10 you can get three pieces of chicken tenders and a probably two handfuls of French fries OR you can get a 4 pcs coconut shrimps w/fries. It’s convenient for sure when you are out lounging by the pool and suddenly wanted to eat something. You can also get a hotdog for $ 7 which isn’t TOO bad; it’ll satisfy your hunger for sure. Given the price, I do wish that they can give a slightly bigger portion. I dined here twice and ordered the following: 1. Portuguese Dog with crusty bread and garlic aioli, ketchup, and Dijon mustard. The dog was pretty good — got that crunchy casing and had a touch of spice. The crusty bread was alright, unique though. The presentation was interesting as well(don’t think regular hot dog style… more like burrito but on a bread), they hollowed the crusty bread and stuck the dog in the middle with all the condiments drizzled inside the bread. And because the way it was presented, as you’re eating the dog, when you get to the end of your last few bites, you’ll end up eating only the sauces plus bread because all the sauce dripped down the to the end of the bread. 2. chicken tenders: fries were the thick cut fries, the chicken tenders were cooked well. crispy on the outside and is well seasoned. The chicken itself, it’s not real full chicken meat; when you bite into it, the chicken isn’t shredded into pieces, it’s processed chicken meat like the same texture you’d get from chicken nuggets. overall. not bad, it’s convenient. and just remember you’re dining at the resort.

For being located within a Disney resort the food is surprisingly good and fair priced

Great for a quick snack. I love the coconut shrimp. Since we are staying at the Aulani, this is an easy choice. I just ordered an adult size chicken platter for my girls to share.

3 Words — Coconut macadamia cupcake! This alone is worth coming for. I also had the Portuguese sausage(similar to linguica but less spicy) which was good, but nothing will beat the cupcake!

Chicken fingers were perfectly seasoned & so were the(crunchy) French fries! Wasn’t expecting it to be so good since its pool food but better than fast food restaurants for sure!

Chicken fingers and shrimp were cooked fresh. The coconut shrimp was tasty. Small portions, but great for a quick bite. The Cobb Salad was good with egg, bacon, tomatoes and a grapefruit vinegarette. Could do without the fries. Great place for the kids to get a quick bite… my daughter went back for more chicken fingers.

Good place for a quick dinner or lunch. The coconut shrimp are not gourmet, but darn tasty. Chicken tenders and the spicy chicken tender sandwich are good too. The cobb salad was not worth it… dressing was so bland. I agree that it would be great if the snack stands opened prior to 11 a.m. for those of us from different time zones.

We ate the hotdog and the chicken nuggets which were the only three things on the menu. A $ 6 hotdog was fulfilling and good. The chicken nugget meal was under $ 10. The food was hot and made quick.

Mama’s yummy snack stand! Great for your hungry belly when at the pool or beach at Aulani. The fries & chicken tenders are yummy. They also had cupcakes and hot dogs and fried shrimp. I wish they had smoothies, and opened before 11am for us people on another time zone, but I would come back again and again while staying here!

This snack stand was recently added to Aulani. Before that, there weren’t any fast food choices near the pool areas. Hot, hungry kids = no fun. Now we can get hot dogs, chicken tenders, and french fries! Yay! No corn dogs though. Boo. Must try the macadamia nut pineapple cupcakes! So cute with the little Mickey sprinkles! And when you go back to the pools, don’t leave your french fries out on your table stand. Free meal for angry birds!

It’s hot, you are thirsty and the room is way, way too many steps away. Have no fear, shuffle over to Mama’s with your endless soda cup and load up on ice and liquid refreshments. See ya in the pool…

Needed something to snack on after swimming with the kids and found Mama’s Snack Stop inside the Disney Aulani resort. You do not need to be staying at the resort to purchase. I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and a few hot dogs. They were a little pricey but expected. A definite must go to if you’re starving after swimming and do not want to leave the resort/lagoon.

My baby was hungry at the pool. What to grub on? Thank goodness for this snack shop. The mainly have«dogs and tenders» but they also have some desserts and drinks! So many people were walking around with the cute macadamia nut pineapple cup cake! I need to get it next time. The dogs looked good, nicely placed in a hole in the bun. My family and I purchased the basket fried chicken tenders and fries. The basket was a good size. It was«resort priced» but I didn’t mind spending $ 9.75 to feed my kids some french fries and chicken. Service was quick, easy, and friendly! Unilocal31 Day Challenge #30/31 Aulani’s fast food.

Mama’s Snack Stop is a new quick service eatery at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. Mama’s was developed in response to complaints that Aulani didn’t have enough dining options. Not sure if this is what guests had in mind. Anyhow, the fiancée and I decided to checkout Mama’s today(6⁄24). When you order, you will choose your choice of sausage: Local Red Frank($ 5.75), Portuguese Sausage($ 5.75), All-Beef Hot Dog($ 5.75), or Buffalo-Ranch Fried Chicken«Tender Dog»($ 6.75). Then you need to choose your bread soft roll(hot dog bun) or crusty bread(baguette type) and your choice of sauce(ketchup, yellow or dijon mustard, or garlic aioli). You can also opt for a basket of fried chicken tenders with fries($ 9.95), a side of french fires($ 2.95), Maui Chips($ 2.95), macadamia nut pineapple cupcake($ 4.50), or fresh tropical fruit($ 5.00). Drinks are bottled water($ 3.50) or fountain drinks($ 3.00), though you have to walk across to the Lava Shack to fill up! There’s also a keiki menu as well. So, on this particular visit, the fiancée didn’t feel like getting anything, though I opted for a Portuguese sausage with crusty bread and dijon mustard. The sausage was served in a hollowed-out bun much like Puka-Dog. The crusty bread was good, with a nice, crusty baguette like exterior, while the Portuguese sausage was nothing special. They were also really skimpy on the mustard and there was barely any, so I’d probably add more myself next time. Would I go back? Probably. It is a decent, on-property option, though it is expensive!
