First time there, and the food was excellent, had the special mix plate — Lau lau, mahi, tripe stew for $ 8, lau lau was moist, had plenty greens, mahi was cooked right, not dry, tripe stew had plenty tripe, only wished the tripe was tougher(personal preference). Great food, great price!

I had the Kalua cabbage and squid luau. All I have to say it the price is well worth it! You just can’t beat the value for the type of quality you get. The squid luau was a little salty for my taste but it had a good flavor. The Kalua cabbage was also on par and met my expectations. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice plate lunch spot with affordable prices!

Best lunch truck in Campbell Industrial Park. Most plates are only $ 6! Huge portions. Love the daily Filipino mixed plate lunch.

The best lunch wagon on the West side. Sari sari and pinakbet are my favorites. Hubby loves the pork adobo. The mac salad is the bomb! The line was long today but the three ladies expertly made the wait only 5 minutes. The prices are very reasonable! I noticed they use a smaller Styrofoam container but the serving is generous. It is worth the drive to Campbell Industrial Park. I can’t wait to return next week!

Meals on wheels. At one time there were tons of lunch wagons in this industrial park area, sort of a west Oahu food court on wheels. While not as big a selection as in the past, there are still quite a few choices. One of the long time plate lunch purveyors is Lanies Lunch Wagon. Great specials every weekday, pretty generous portions and it’s not always about fat and grease. A favorite is their baked salmon, brown rice and toss salad offering. A great deal for only $ 7.00!(See pic) Lanies-a great option in the Campbell industrial park area.

LOL everybody calls this place«Lani’s» but it’s not. It’s a bunch of old Filipino ladies. Food’s not bad, prices are cheap and you get a lot. Her mac salad is da bomb. Longest lines in Campbell, which says alot. She’s usually there till about 2pm if she’s not sold out by then. The only reason I don’t give it more stars is because I rate all lunch wagons against the old Kewalo’s lunch wagon with the 4 Japanese ladies. That wagon in my opinion is in the Lunch Wagon Hall of Fame.

The best lunchwagon in Campbell Industrial. I truely have to rate them 5 stars. I’ve been working in the area for years & truly have tried all the lunch wagons in Campbell. This is my favorite lunch wagon to go to. I always regret when I don’t go here to this lunch wagon because I was too lazy to stand in line. At Lanies you get your moneys worth. I love their lunch plates your typical local plate lunch & filipino foods. I love it because you have an option to choose white or brown rice or even all salad, oh & the mac salad is really good its the mac salad with a hit of tuna added, you know what I mean but you have to ask for it, they’ll normally say salad when you order a plate. Plus their portions are better than any other wagons around.

The food is excellent. The prices are very reasonable too. The Hawaiian mix plate is a favorite, the sides are also very good here. The fried mochi is some of the best around, so don’t miss out on that. Every time I have gone there is a line, early lunch, late lunch — it doesn’t matter, there’s people waiting — and with good reason. I overheard some guys talking about the line one time, they also agreed it was worth the wait, it moves fairly quickly too. They cater some too, great for a party!

Had the filipino mix plate… chicken adobo is not very adoboish(i like my adobo with a strong vinegar), adobo didn’t have very much taste. Sari sari was ok. The Mac salad was good and so was the dressing on the green salad. They do give a lot though.

I’m not going to get into where and what they serve as the other post says it all. I havent tried everything on the menu but I can tell you that the pinakbet is the best I have had. Long beans, bitter melon, lima beans, kabocha and a bunch of other vegies along with some roast pork served with rice and green salad. It’s so good, sometimes I get some to to take home for dinner. The other dish I get but only served on Thursdays is the chicken papaya, very good.

If you never venture into Campbell Industrial Park, I’m giving you one tasty reason. It is called Lanie’s Lunchwagon. Most meals are only $ 5 and the mix plates are $ 6. Lanie’s has been operating in the area for about seven years. Owner Linda Pasiwen says sales have dipped since the construction industry has slowed; however, her lines are still long. Builders wait in line with folks from Tripler Army Medical Center, The Gas Company and the Hawaii Department of Education. Pasiwen says regulars come as far as Waianae, Makakilo, Ewa Beach and Ko Olina. They come for popular items such as garlic shrimp, roast beef, pepper steak and roast turkey with stuffing. They also come for the ham and turkey sandwiches and chili dogs, reasonably priced at $ 2.50. What plate lunch do construction workers request the most? Pasiwen says on Monday her biggest items are roast turkey with stuffing and salmon. And every Friday, they come for the special Hawaiian plate lunch. Lanie’s offers two different Hawaiian specials. One option features lau lau, lomi lomi salmon and a choice of beef or tripe stew. The other includes lau lau, kalua pig with cabbage and chicken long rice. Lanie’s also has a large selection of Filipino dishes like pork adobo, pancit bihon and pinapaitan. The special Filipino mix plate, $ 6.50, comes with all three. Lanie’s is a family business. The lunch wagon is named after Pasiwen’s eldest daughter. She says the business is run with a strong sense of ohana and the aloha spirit. Whatever happens in the construction industry, expect to find them at Campbell Industrial Park everyday until the last plate lunch is served.
