I followed Deb here as one of her regulars and if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have even known this place existed! It’s in the back of a strip mall that I didn’t realize HAD a back part. The place was clean and the other stylists were friendly. The interaction from the receptionist seemed rehearsed and forced but she did everything I’m assuming she was supposed to do which was greet, offer water, and sweep up the floor. Each station has their own rinsing sink so you don’t have to be too mobile.
Deb is an AMAZING stylist. She always makes sure she understands what it is you want before starting and gets it done quickly. I will continue to follow her wherever goes! Any salon would be lucky to have Deb!

I was really happy with my haircut Nicole made me feel really comfortable and really listened to what I wanted and I got exactly what I was looking for. I loved the products that she put in my hair, my curls last all night. definitely going back to cut my hair there and also buying the products.

Go and ask for Manita!!! She’s the threading queen. I love her work! I’ve been a regular ever since I discovered her. If you want to be in shape, get Manita to do your eyebrows, you will be getting more than your money’s worth!

My hairdresser is great! I highly recommend booking with Deb. I followed her from another salon in Kapolei. She is great with color and can handle my thick hair. My mother and daughter see her too. Deb is certainly a 5 Star Stylist.
I’m not too fond of the salon’s atmosphere. I’m always welcomed and offered a drink, but something is odd. One of the receptionists confirmed my appointment for the wrong time. Very frustrating.

If you need to be blonde®, Nicole is your gal! It’s always scary trying out a new salon, but she was great! The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I thought that it was a little pricey ($ 165 for partial highlights and a trim), but I suppose everything is on Oahu.

LOVE this salon! After moving here a year ago, I was apprehensive when looking for a new salon. I researched, read reviews, and decided to try Hello Gorgeous. More than happy! I have seen Kathy several times now for highlights/​lowlights and a cut, and absolutely love her work! Won’t be going anywhere else!

I’ve been going here ever since they opened. Kathy is so awesome and is super fast but never skimps on quality. The stylists attend continuing education courses so it’s nice to have a salon that knows about the newest trends. It’s so great to have a neighborhood salon that is like ohana. I highly recommend them!

I moved to this island back in August and have had such a difficult time finding the salon for me. I finally tried this salon and FELL IN LOVE! Great hair, great location, great price! When I pay good money to get my hair done, I expect to also have a great experience and this place exceeded my expectations. I left the salon feeling «gorgeous» and just unbelievably happy from such a wonderful set of people that made me feel so welcomed.
I am also a blonde and I was so glad to have finally found a salon that really knows how to work with blondes! Amanda did my hair wonderfully and completely fixed the mess the last salons had made of my hair. Love this place and have already recommended it to so many friends. Look so forward to all my future appointments here for the rest of my time on Oahu!

Just had highlights and lowlights and cut by Kathy… looks awesome. Great service, prices are excellent and very nice salon. Kathy was very experienced and I love my hair, I will be back.

I have seen Kathy several times for haircuts now and would absolutely recommend her! I have straight hair and don’t ask for overly complicated cuts, but still always have a terrible time finding a new stylist. Kathy listens, is so skilled and just «gets» it. I came in today with a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it. She’s fun to talk to and the salon has a great ambiance.

I went right to the owner because my hair was so fragile. I needed a TRUE PROFESSIONAL.
I was so happy I met Cristina. She made my hair look the best it ever has and I felt like a rock star walking out of the salon.

I went to Hello Gorgeous Salon today for a haircut & color with Debra as my stylist. My hair color came out absolutely beautiful — so very shiny & my cut was just perfect. Debra is the best. The salon is very attractive and in great surroundings near the Coconut Plantation condos & great shops. I certainly will be back. In fact, I scheduled my next appointment before I left.

I have only been one time, so I will reserve the 5 star rating for a return visit. But I must say that this is a Winner! Easy to make an appointment, clean, easy to find location, good parking, talented and super friendly staff. I was most impressed that my hair was cut with the curl and turned out perfectly. It has been several weeks now and I have fun getting ready for work every day– my hair doesn’t have ‘bad hair day’ anymore. I have been several places that charge more than twice the amount and have never been this happy with the final result– that is the truth. Period.

Today I had a cut and tone done here. My stylist was Kristin and… wow…she’s amazing! There have only been a handful of times in my 30 year life that I 100% like my hair after the first visit with a stylist and this is definitely one of them. She has gotten herself a regular for sure!
Also, the studio itself is also very clean with edgy, modern glam décor. Parking is easy and plentiful right in front of the studio. The pricing is super reasonable especially for Hawaii and for being in Koolina. The rest of the staff were also very bubbly and welcoming. I’m so glad this high caliber studio exists on the West side!

I checked out this place for the first time this past Tuesday. My stylist was Amanda and she was great, good conversation too. The salon is tucked into the KoOlina Shopping center, which was nice because I am used to driving into town to get my hair done. The salon is nicely decorated, open, clean and I like that they have sinks right there at their stands to wash hair. No need to leave your things and come back to the stylist chair.
Also, I brought my 5 year old son with me and they had some toys for him to play with to keep company so he did wonderful during my hair cut.
Anyways, back to my cut. Amanda shampooed, cut, styled, blow dried my hair and I was out in an hr. Nice layers!
Reasonable price, close to home, and nice salon. I will be going back in the future.

Got my sister a gc to this place and mind you, I’ve never been here before, but trusted Unilocal and the awesome reviews. She went to get a cut, bialage and style and told me all about her great experience. She is VERY happy with her new look and the great customer service. I am definitely gonna call and schedule an appointment for the new year! Thank you to Charity and Cristina for the quick response in helping set this up for my sister and special thanks to Kristin for doing an awesome job. Will def recommend family and friends over.

I had an appointment with Kristen today, and I’m so glad I did. I came in with an ombré that i didn’t like, and asked for natural looking highlights and a cut with choppy layers not fringed (because it’ll make me look fluffy :) and she did great! She curled it before I took a straight picture, but both the color and cut looked amazing. Thanks! If I can figure out how to add the picture I’ll try to do that later.

I am so grateful for Kristen at Hello Gorgeous! I was living in Korea and got my hair done the week before I came to Hawaii. The highlights I had done there ended up being really splotchy and mismatched. There were big chunks of highlight in some areas and not in others. I started getting creative with the way I was doing my hair so it wouldn’t be so obvious! It was not something I wanted to show off at all.
I scheduled an appointment with Kristen and I’m so glad I did. She was amazing! Super friendly and wonderful at what she does. She added any additional highlights where necessary, a bunch of lowlights, and a toner. I am in love with my hair now and so happy it looks natural again. Thank you, Kristen! If I come back to HI next year, I’ll wait to get my hair done around that time so I can see you!
