Boston Kine Pizza

The food here is great but the service is hit or miss. I called in for a take out order and they told me that it be ready by 4:15 showed up a little earlier around 4:05 to find out that they haven’t even started my order and asked that if it would be ready by 4:15 they said about 15 – 20 minutes I did a call in order so I could get it by 4:15 not by 4:25 super disappointed! I had to leave due to my schedule.

8:30pm and they don’t take any orders for whole pizzas?
And they are open till 9:00.

While visiting family here we decided to try this place. (my niece recommend it) We weren’t disappointed at all! We ordered the spinach, mushroom and garlic pizza and it was THE best pizza we’ve ever eaten. Yes, we’ve been to New York and had their pizza and it was good but not as good as this place. The wait is a little long (Hawaiian time) but totally worth the wait. Wish they were here on the mainland. Definitely coming back on our next visit!

Ordered a pizza on Sunday. Took about 15 mins for them to make the pie which wasn’t bad. The girl behind the counter didn’t smile… at all. but she did welcome me and the other customers as we walked in. I ordered a Big Fred (spinach, mushrooms, tomato, fresh cut garlic). I’m a pizza fanatic so I’m really picky about my pizza. This pizza… the crust was way too thin in the center, the spinach was good, not much mushrooms, tomato was a bit mushy and where was the fresh cut garlic? I’ve eaten at this spot about a handful times since he opened but I was NOT happy with this pizza at all. No flavor! I had to add more mushrooms, change the tomatoes and put fresh cut garlic and more cheese. So basically, I paid $ 30 for crust, which even that wasn’t tasteful. I do support local businesses, so I may give spot a try again. Just not any time soon.
Oh and found out they give a military discount… which is nice for service members!

Absolute, best service I have ever received at any food establishment, ever. The man and young lady working there greeted us right away and he treated our daughters like they were his nieces and he was the favorite uncle. Major brownie points to the business. Of course the food was outstanding as well, but the way he really made his customers feel special was what really stood out to me. Our entire family can’t wait to give them more business.

Service was very slow and extremely unusual. Our party had to search for our waitress for every single thing we needed. Silverware. Drinks. Ordering food. Napkins. Dessert. The check. Boxes. Absolutely zero pieces of the server’s job were accomplished by her realizing that the table might need serving except for seating. Every item, every time. She left our table twice in the middle of taking our food order and we had to go get her to finish placing it. This is how it was the entire dining experience. The bill took forever to figure out for some reason even though we asked early to have it split and even then the manager or someone else ended up figuring it out and still taking a long time to get it back to us.
Our party of 13 felt like we were the biggest inconvenience to the server and tried to be quick to «get out of her hair» and the dining experience still took two and a half hours and 3 of us had small kids with us. What restaurant extends the stay of tiny human guests crying for bedtime on a Tuesday?! Such a weird experience and not one I will repeat for mediocre food. She was very nice. She just had no idea what her job entailed and no one was helping her even though there were four other serving staff on the floor kind of half busy with the other tables.
The one time another server helped me personally it was clear she was irritated with me and my son because my 4 year old son almost backed into her when she was walking to the podium to seat us. Thankfully she did not end up being our server because the death look she was shooting us made it clear we were unwanted in the restaurant after that. That might have been the reason we got the seemingly brand new untrained server helping us alone the rest of the night. It was in celebration of a friend’s birthday, so I am sad that it hampered the festivity of the event.

I really liked this place but recently revisited and got an entire pizza that was soggy and gross and the staff was extremely rude.

How is this place still in business? Pizza is soggy and horrible tasting. It’s over priced for the quality of pizza. This place use to be decent 3 years ago. Now it just sucks.

This place is kind of tough to find, located in a large shopping center. It serves large slices of New York style pizza. They just so happened to be baking a fresh mushroom, pepperoni and black olive pizza when I walked in after a morning of go-​karting at the nearby K1 speedway. The pizza had a very thin crust, to the point of being a little floppy, and the black olives tasted like they were straight out of the can, but it was otherwise pretty good. And it was very inexpensive. And they offer a military discount. And they have diet dr pepper in cans, which is a rare find outside of Texas. There’s not a lot of seating inside, but it wasn’t very busy when I was there around lunch time on a Sunday.

First time here at bostons pizza and definitely won’t be my last. I ordered a slice of pepper and mushroom and a spinach, mushroom, garlic slice… when the guy grabbed my slice it was huge… like a quarter of s whole pizza huge. I was like I only ordered one slice! He’s lyk eyes this is our slice! Damn! Next time I only need to order one for me and my kids and we can share!
I also ordered their garlic knots… it was okay, not as good as I expected. Think I’d pass on this the next visit. I also ordered the cinnamon knots and these were okay. I may give these another try. They were very inexpensive, $.50 a piece!
Cool environment with tvs to watch as you wait or dine. They have these chalkboards on the walls that you can write on or decorate using chalk that they provide! I will be back! But next time won’t be ordering two slices now that I know how large their slices are

Boston’s is my favorite place to eat pizza. I always order a full pizza topped with anchovies, garlic and spinach. I’m sad that the process of making it takes so long but it’s well worth the wait! Not giving this place 5 stars because once when we ordered a pizza they got our order mixed up with another, but that’s not why I’m taking off a star. We called them to ask about the wrong order and they asked if we could bring it back so we could switch with the customer that got our order. We didn’t want that because who knows what happened to it since the other person took it home? Not sure what they did with the pizza they took back but I just hope they didn’t turn it into the pizza slices they have displayed. Other than that experience, every other time we’ve gone there has been great!

This is decent pizza… particularly for Hawaii. The ingredients and flavors are Italian. Crust could be more crisp… don’t think they have wood or coal fired oven… or crust would have the crunch typical of something in Boston’s north end… but this is Hawaii and unexpected to find a decent pizza.

Great place to eat… they had plenty of selections for single slice… I tried a new slice that I have never tried and it was incredible. If they keep this up, they will need a bigger location.

The pizza tasted like it came from the dollar store in the frozen food section. NEWS FLASH! They make pizza sauce to put on pizza! Try some!
I didn’t expect much from this place, with me coming from Chicago, and I got even less. Brick Oven pizza was too crowded so I decided to try this place. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Look elsewhere.

This place has been here since they opened this strip mall and i’m hoping it’s here to stay. I LOVE their pizza! One slice is ¼ of a whole pizza. You can choose a slice and add on any more toppings you want to customize (for an additional charge of course). They heat it and crisp it up in the oven for you so you get it warm and yummy. It’s a quaint little place with three 4-​seat tables outside and three 2-​seat tables inside. They offer both fountain and can/​bottle drinks, a slew of sauces and side salads too.
I’ve always encountered friendly workers and have never had a problem with my order. Kudos to an awesome little pizza joint in Kapolei.

It’s not Boston’s Pizza. It’s Boston Kine. But whatever the case — it’s basically the same.
I tend to always get mushroom and pepperoni. But I’m open to trying new flavors. It doesn’t matter to me because I’m a big fan of pizza. And the fact that their slices are so huge, which allows me to have leftovers — makes me adore BP/​Boston Kine Pizza even more!
…now I really want pizza.

WARNING! ***** IF U WANT TO WASTE $ 30 ON A PIZZA GO HERE***** IF YOU WANT A GREAT PIZZA GO ELSEWHERE BUT HERE. The Staff was nice but not the pizza, they all need to go to pizza 101 training. I truly think they turn off the oven to save electricity and when a order comes in then they turn the oven on. Our Pizza doe was not crispy uncooked watery and all the veggies was also uncooked we cooked it more in our oven for 20min and still. since the veggies were fresh we scraped it off the raw pizza doe and ate like a sauté Italian stir fry. If I ate that Pizza there I would have threw it back at them and ask for a refund.

Excellent customer service and pizza at reasonable price. I asked the manager, T.J., if he was the owner because he treated us like ohana. Recommend the «Rambo» pizza. Onolicious!!! Additional plus is they support da troops with military discount.

Pretty decent NY style thin crust pizza. Sauce could have a little more kick. REALLY nice guys & good service. Coolest part is the many options of pizza by the slice — veggie, spinach, white, standards like pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushrooms, etc. yummy garlic knots too!

Started off bad and was all downhill from there. Ordered Garlic Knotts, asked them to warm it up. It was given back to us cold.
Then we ordered a half BMT and half Italian pizza, we were told it would be half an hour wait due to it being busy. Two tables that came in after us got their order /​served before us. This is over an hour later one of those tables got rather speedy service less than 20 minute wait. We decided to leave since it was very apparent they had no intentions of filling our order because they were at this point only then putting our order in the oven.
No apology of any form was given only thing we got was stink eye as we were leaving this pitiful excuse for a business establishment.
Not even sure why I am reviewing this judging by the lack of response from the owner to these reviews on Unilocal it’s pretty safe to say they do not care.
Good thing L&L was next door, fast service, decent prices and good food all done with a smile.
