Yummy’s is excellent mediterranean inspired food– tasty and very affordable.
Twice I’ve used them to cater small events we didn’t want to do ourselves, and for less than $ 100 you can have apps for 15 people, easy. They ship, sell at local grocers, but you can call ahead and pick up at the kitchen on 39th Street.
Lebaneh (flavored feta balls) is one of the best tasting things in the world by the way. And Chef Kamal invented them. Wow.
The kitchen will soon be 100% solar powered, too.

already a huge fan of their hummus and shatta, I headed over to the kitchen outlet last Saturday for baba ganoush and pita chips. everything is made there, so it’s as fresh as it can possibly be. neither disappointed at all. even the pita chips just taste better than anything you will buy in a bag.
they were sampling a new product — berry zebda, a marscapone/​cream cheese spread that was decadently delicious.
check their facebook page before heading over too because they are always offering great deals (like free hummus or pita for liking their page or bringing a friend to the kitchen outlet)
I will definitely be back there soon. plus it’s just great to support a local business that has such a wonderful product.
