Taco Bueno

Meh. It wasn’t terrible, but really just a more expensive Taco Bell in my opinion. The burrito was alright, but the chips and guac were a disappointment.

They still need to train workers better.
They haven’t messed up every time but to this day they have trouble completing orders properly.
It’s a shame, since the product is decent when it’s made right.

I’ve been here twice. Good food and good service. Way better that TB! I remember when TB had the bellbeefer, now I can get a taco burger and it taste the same, brings back old memories.

Good taco place. Very good salsa and pico. Lots of food for the price. Clean and quiet.

Taco Bueno is one of my faves and this is probably the best one I’ve ever been to really nice people there, great location and is consistently very good. don’t forget to try a cheesecake chimichanga if you’ve never had one!

I’m from the Chicago area and we only have Taco Bell as far as chain restaurants go which is ok but that’s it. When I first came to KC area back in June I ate at Taco Bueno and I loved it. I finally moved here in December of 2013 and Taco Bueno is one of my favorite restaurants. I’m not a big fan of refried beans, but this place has delicious refried beans. I love their tacos (good crispy shell and meat), refried beans, tortilla chips (very fresh tasting and crispness) and the multi-​flavor coke dispenser (Vanilla Barq’s is awesome) and they used to have flautas, but I don’t recall seeing it on their menu anymore. I should ask about it next time I go.
I haven’t been to another location, but I can assume all their food is the same. As far as service, I have never been to it while it was busy but any time I’ve went the food is ready before I can even get my drink and condiments together. People shouldn’t complain about having to wait 10 minutes to get fresh food. This isn’t McDonald’s or Taco Bell. This is good fresh food and sometimes you have to wait for it.

Customer service was horrible this day, one girl was covering the front counter and drive thru, people were waiting too long for their food i was one of them i waited around 15 to20 miniutes for my food the understaffing made for horrable customer service!!! i will not be back

This location is the best one I have yet to go to. It’s clean and their employees are very friendly and willing to go above and beyond, which these three things I can not say about all the stores.
I do miss their original salsa that was on the bar, but their new Fajita platters are the BEST, and it’s the same quality and quanitity if not better then you get in a «sit down» place but at a much better price.
