My husband loves this place! We tried the new location but not nearly as good as the original.

Fantastic. This will be a regular stop for me. We went in and took it to go, but it was fabulous! Really really good.

When a place claims «Best cheesesteaks ever!» I have to try it, especially since I drive past this place just about every day. I have to say, it definitely was not the best cheesesteak ever, and I hope not the best in Kansas City, but it was better than expected.
The place had an interesting atmosphere. It is strictly takeout, a pretty small space, and there were only two people working when I arrived on a Wednesday afternoon.
I ordered a regular size cheesesteak, which comes with cheese, onions, and «sauce», which is your choice of mayo, honey mustard, or Au Jus. I opted to order an unadulterated cheesesteak without the «sauce», but they gave me some Au Jus anyway. I waited 5 – 10 minutes while the staff bantered in the back while cooking. I was happy to pay about $ 5.80 with tax for a regular cheesesteak, which was a good size.
I drove a few minutes down the road home to devour my cheesesteak. My first bite was very good — I enjoyed the meat a lot and liked the cheese. About halfway through the sandwich though, I actively noticed the low quality bread. It was like a large hotdog bun and almost ruined the sandwich for me. With the right bread (either crusty or chewy — or both!) this could be a 5-​star cheesesteak. Especially if they offer cheese whiz ;). Even with the disappointing bread, though, I enjoyed my sandwich and will probably be back.

The only thing bad about this place is that it is way toooo close to me!
I have only tried the steak sandwich and have to use every ounce of self control I have to try other places in the new neighborhood instead of always going here.
The steak is tender, juicy, and fills the roll. I have tried both the small and large and they are both sufficient for a meal. Being peppers and onions can have their way with me, I go with just mushrooms and some mayo. Perfect steak sandwich.
They have a variety of other sandwiches that I cant wait to try.
Service isn’t incredible. It gets the job done.
This is a take out place. They have a drive thru and walk in, but don’t plan on hanging out in a dining area.
Stop by and grab a sandwich, you will not be disappointed at all!

The best cheesesteak sandwich in Kansas City. The bread doesn’t have the chew that it should. It’s a dump, like some of the best BBQ places. But damn, every bite was amazing. They didn’t give me any ketchup for the fries. Fortunately, they didn’t need it. Beautifully seasoned. Yep. This is the best Philly in town.

Cheesesteaks! I’ve been visiting this place for several years now. It’s mostly a drive through, haven’t seen many people go inside. The restaurant is right at the corner of Troost and 77^th. I usually get a regular cheesesteak combo, with fries and a strawberry drink. It’s made to order so you have to wait a while, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Nothing special about the customer service, just enough to get what you need. They’re finally opening another location on Blue Ridge in a few weeks.
