Starbucks

Traveling through and Unilocal told us this place was open until 10:30, we got off our route and get there at 10:23 only to have the girls cleaning and tell us through the window no. Total disappointment.

It is a really nice Starbucks ! I like the place and the drink a lot! Staffs were so nice and everything! Have an awesome to! experience

I was there at 5:30am and the team of three employees were very pleasant and friendly upon taking my order (besides the fact that I might have still been sleepy/​grumpy). The space is great and big, with big long tables accommodating people working on projects or reading the newspaper. There were tables by the window as well for those nature-​lovers.
Conveniently located close to Zona Rosa and somewhat to the airport, great stop for long drives or errand-​running.

One of the best Starbucks I’ve been to. The design and layout are comfortable, and the music is just right not too loud.

This is the comfy Starbucks the way it should be. No drive up so the attention is on you! The seating is great and if you look surprise there is a quiet room.

Can get a little crowded at times with people waiting for their drinks, but this a big Starbucks. One of the larger spots I’ve been in, which is good if you’re coming in to sit at a table and have some great coffee. Ample tables and seating, and the baristas were warm and friendly.

This is a very friendly location. I’m here at 5.30am, and the team of three is pleasant and accommodating. A great physical set up with lots of nooks and crannies and a bar near the barista. A great stop before or after an airport run.

One of the consistently worst Starbucks I’ve been to, but it’s the ONLY one around, so I will keep going. The lines are always long, it always takes longer than it should to get your drink.
The manager doesn’t seem to care about employees following the company’s rules, because I constantly see them being broken. For example, making multiple customers’ frappuccinos at the same time, in the same machine (quality control problem!), skipping people’s orders, using caffeine when decaf was ordered, etc. (My sister-​in-​law works at Starbucks — she immediately spotted and pointed out these things.) And we notice similar issues almost every time we go in.
Drinks always taste a little «off» and I’m not sure why. Fraps are always melted (I.e., too watery). I hope this store can get its act together soon!

I like to do computer work here. The only thing is they keep moving tables out. There used to be 3 – 4 2 person tables by the window now there’s only one. Kind of a bummer. Always good service and good coffee.

What more can I say about Starbucks. A fan of this location — always superb service.

I was meeting a client and got there quite a bit early. So they brought me a water while I was waiting (unexpected) and greeted everyone as they walked through the door. So kind! Great location, great service and friendly faces to start your morning off right!

It’s a good Starbucks that is busy with friendly employees. It’s also great that it opens at 5;00!!!

Maybe tonight was simply a bad night but this slow service has caused me to cancel my evening plans. Perhaps the people in front of me should not have brought their children and perhaps the server could have gotten the order right. Whatever the problem it took far too long for me to get my drink.
Update: It has been a while since my original review and I have since then had nothing but good experiences here. My only complaint would be when they make my green tea latte, they don’t even attempt to mix in the matcha. This means clumos of powder in my drink. Just stir it for a minute or two please.

By far the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I’ve been camping out here for a few hours every week this summer to snag a drink and some wifi. The baristas are all super friendly and, of course, make all your favorite Starbucks drinks and treats. (My favorites being the iced chai and flour-​less chocolate cookie.)
The design and layout are also high points. The bar and big tables allow you to be social and interact with a lot if other people. The small tables, booths, and big chairs, on the other hand, are great for settling in and getting work done. There’s also a lot of outdoor seating if that’s your speed. As I said, the décor is great. The wood bar is beautiful, the ceiling tiles are lovely, and I want to steal the glass light fixtures and put them in my house.
All in all, a great location and someplace I definitely frequent and highly recommend.

Clean, great and friendly service always. What’s there to say? It’s Starbuck’s! I have been to many and have received nothing but excellent service, happy employees and great teas and deserts. (I don’t drink coffee but their tea’s and specialty drinks are just as amazing). It’s often busy at this location but I have never seen anyone not able to respond to the pressure. I’m going to miss my local Starbucks when I leave KC!

Today, I just got a white chocolate mocha to complement my breakfast from another restaurant.
It was not as busy because I went at about 9 am. Service was speedy today & my mocha was awesome as always.
I think it’s time I another drink there though. I always get the same mocha & a breakfast sandwich (sometimes).

This is by far one of my favorite starbucks anywhere. The seating is great (although busy most of the time), the hours are amazing and the staff is very accomodating. This Starbucks is in a great location, next to Zona Rosa and across from the theaters. Very fast baristas and good tasting beverages.

Super service, sexy music, gorgeous ceiling.
Busy, Close to airport, and people seem to know each other here.

Don’t judge a book by its cover definitely applies to this Starbucks. As a fan of Starbucks, at first, I was like wow is this all there is here? and while I am not happy with the hours — I wish they stayed open later than 10 pm – and I don’t see the point of the drive up window, I like this location a lot.
As noted in other reviews, the outside appearance and strip mall location are deceiving. There’s a nice feel to the inside, sort of a bungalow /​craftsman look to the place, and it’s a good setup so as to provide different seating areas depending on your mood. I prefer the small tables up front or the comfy chairs in the little room in the back. I’ve sat outside twice but I can’t get over feeling I’m sitting in the middle of a parking lot.
The people who work here are pretty nice overall and not overly friendly but friendly enough and efficient. Once the advertised brew was not available and I had to wait, and remembered the days it was free coffee when that happened. Alas no more. The barista listened to my complaint without an attitude (though still no free coffee!) with my appreciating the former if not the latter.
I’ve gone at all times of day and no matter how long the line or how busy, the service is fast enough that there’s not a long wait. Great free WIFI and usually a good selection of brews. Like most Starbucks they could fill the cream dispensers more often — one of the baristos gave me an attitude when I complained about that — and they could provide skim as well as half and half, but they do a good job of keeping this location clean by dumping the trash and wiping down the tables often.
This Starbucks location has really grown on me. It seems to be a popular meeting place in the «neighborhood» and something of a hangout for locals which is great.

I have a love/​hate relationship with this Starbucks. I pretty much come here out of necessity, as it’s one of the few Starbucks nearby… BUT since that’s the case, everyone else that lives in the area also comes here, and it’s always busy. And therefore, slow. Mind numbingly slow. So slow that I have been late for appointments or reservations because I’ve been waiting on my effing coffee. Which obviously irritates me. (And I do try to plan ahead and give myself plenty of time, but somehow I never give myself enough time — go figure.)
Unless you order a straight up cup of coffee or tea, you’re going to be waiting. And waiting. And while I get that my triple grande whatever of the day does take a bit of time and effort, I also have seen the same baristas at this Starbucks for a long time now, so you’d think they might have their process figured out and that things would speed up a bit. But no.
They did recently remodel this Starbucks, so the atmosphere is fairly nice — I definitely like the new «bar» area as well as the light fixtures. So while it’s a nice place to leisurely enjoy your coffee, it’s not a great place to grab anything if you’re in a hurry.
So, 4 stars if you’re not in a hurry and want to sit and relax, 2 stars if you have somewhere to be in a certain time frame, which evens things out to a 3.
